I offer drop in visits, dog walking, doggy daycare, boarding and house sitting. Additionally, I have experience taking care of my parent's diabetic cat, when they went out of town, which included giving him insulin shots twice a day, so I am comfortable with some medical needs' animals. My cat, Penny, is technically a senior cat, and she remains very healthy and happy! I also have experience taking care of my friends' senior dogs overnight when her and her family went out of town. As well as my own senior dog, Bentley, who has passed away. It has been a few years, but my heart is still too broken to think about welcoming a dog into my home for forever, but I so miss having a dog's company, so, temporary will have to do for now! I know just how much I loved my dog and wanted to protect him and keep him happy & healthy as long as possible, and I promise to treat your pets the same. I was also the proud owner of 4 chickens when I lived in Florida. They were the greatest entertainment! By the time I moved to Michigan, there was sadly only one remaining chicken, I didn't want to confuse her with the weather change, so of course she became a house chicken. She got to live her last two years living inside the house, cozy as can be, with me, my dog & cat. We all loved it! Long story short, I'm also available for some farm animal sitting. About: Dogs and cats have been part of my family my whole life! I have also been a dog sitter for over 10 years. A few years ago, my husband and I raised 6 puppies from birth until they went to their new homes at 10 weeks. We currently have three dogs: Ash (Siberian Husky), Koda (Australian Shepherd), and Hickory (Husky-Australian Shepherd mix) who we love to play with, take for walks, and run around in the backyard. I'm currently off for the summer so I have a lot of time at home. I will let the dogs out every 2-4 hours when away but they will be out roaming the house when I am home. I have my own Siberian Husky that I will need to drop in on occasionally I do have a dog of my own. But other then babysitting for family and doctors appointments I am pretty free other than that. I have a 5 year old Catahoula Hound mix that I adopted from the SPCA! When I house sit he does need to come with me. He has never had issues with other dogs or cats. About: I have 2 dogs and a cat. I have been a multiple pet household for 20 years. I help my friends and neighbors with their pets when they are away. I have fostered dogs before and I have volunteered at the spca. I know how hard it is to find good pet sitters and would love to help others with this. In my clients’ homes, I focus on keeping pets comfortable in their familiar environment. I offer drop ins and walks in the evenings and on weekends, making sure pets get fresh water, meals if needed, exercise, mental stimulation, and any required medications or mobility support. I always send updates so you know exactly how your pet is doing. My goal in both settings is to make sure every pet feels safe, understood, and cared for, whether they are staying with me or I am coming to them.
