Personalized care for your dog or cat - Jonesville

Highly-rated overnight sitters - Jonesville
“This was the longest we’ve ever left Jamaica with someone outside of family, and we didn’t have to worry at all. Just like on our shorter trips leading up to this one, she couldn’t wait to see Amber again—she ran right over and barely looked back at us! It’s clear she absolutely loves spending time with Amber, which gives us so much peace of mind. We’ll definitely continue booking with Amber for as long as she’s offering Rover services.”

“Brooklyn is super sweet and was very communicative which I really appreciate! I’ve never used Rover or any other site to find someone to watch my baby (my elderly cat) so I was pretty anxious, but Brooklyn was great and I will definitely be booking her again if I need someone to watch my baby!”

“They took good care of my pup. They welcomed us in their home and made sure Snuggz was accommodated. They were even so kind to provide a bowl since I forgot to bring one. The communication was also great when needed. I would recommend”

“Copper absolutely LOVED his time here. He must have played nonstop because I’ve never seen him so tired as when I got him home. Rodney was really flexible and easy to work with, and he takes great care of the dogs.”

“Best sitter ever! Great person. Took great care and sent plenary pics. Really loves animals. I recommend her to anybody that loves there pet. She loves them like her own kids!”

“Great 1st experience for my Teddy and I. I’m so pleased with the care my boy received! This was our first time actually hiring a dog sitter and it was flawless, such a wonderful experience with Catherine. From beginning to end, she made everything so easy and comforting for my dog and I!”

“Anne took great care of our special needs pup for 12 days. Our dog needs medication daily, and also had a cast on one of her legs. Anne was not fazed by any of that. It was such a relief to be able to go on our trip and not worry about our pup. We got regular updates and drop off and pick up was easy. Thank you Anne!”

“Aleisha was amazing with our 1 year old pup. As a rescue he does have anxiety being left alone and she handled him beautifully! The pictures throughout his stay really helped to ease my mind as I had never parted with my dog before for any amount of time! She made it a very easy transition and worked with my same day notice! Couldn’t of had a better experience!”

About: I was raised with Cocker Spaniels my entire life and continue the tradition in my own home with having had 5 . I love dogs of all breeds but would not be able to take a large breed dog. My backyard is 100% fenced . I have the ability to leash or walk your dog for its outside needs if that’s what you prefer. I have a medical background for 45 years so I can administer medications of all kinds. I am retired so I am home 99% of the time so I would be available for your pets needs. I have a reliable car if any emergencies were to happen. I am just starting this side business and hope to provide some loving care to your dog. My back yard is fully fenced. I have one very friendly cocker spaniel . I have a separate space for your animal if needed. My yard is fully fenced. See previous description.
“I felt very confident leaving my dog with Jenny. She related well to him and took him for a walk and ent pictures. She was very easy to work with and I could tell she really liked my dog. I am so happy to have found such a great dog sitter!”

“April did great! We have never used Rover before or left our dog with anyone other than family, so naturally I was really nervous about leaving her with someone we didn’t know, especially for 3 nights. April did wonderful updating us with pictures throughout the weekend and was super fast on responding to any messages I sent her. If you’re a nervous first-time rover user like we were, it’s totally understandable but I highly recommend April.”

“Danielle was amazing with my senior[16] blind husky. All of her huskies are well trained and played very well with my dog. Danielle is very knowledgeable and I trust her to watch my senior husky with no worry. My dog tends to shut down around other people and completely ignore other dogs. When I picked her up she was very happy and playful with the other huskies after a couple days with them”

“Kathy was terrific with our dog. We got texts and pictures daily letting us know how things were going. She was also very accommodating with our drop off and pick up. Our family will definitely use Kathy again in the future.”

“Nicole and her family took great care of Remi for us. Communication was great at drop off, pick up, and during the stay. Remi's meds were given on time, and we received pictures throughout her stay to show us she was being treated like royalty.”

“We couldn’t have asked for a more loving and caring dog sitter for our two dogs. Sonya and her family actively gave 100% excellent care. It started out as a weekend, and by necessity, ended up being more than a week long job. The entire time that our dogs were there, we received regular communications and photos of the dogs enjoying time outside, and indoors with the family. If you’re looking for someone who give your dog everything that they need, Sonya is the answer. Should we ever need a dog sitter again, we know where we’re going. Huge thank you to you Donya and your family!”

“Such a great sitter. Super dependable even in really bad weather and will even shovel your driveway for you even tho u only asked her to feed a cat. Also the cat really likes her. She takes a ton of pics and Madame is having a pretty good time with getting brushed and playing around.”

“⸻ Dara was absolutely amazing with Cate! She took care of her like she was her own—so sweet, reliable, and totally in tune with Cate’s little quirks and routines. I got daily updates with the cutest photos and videos, which made being away so much easier and more comforting. Cate can be a bit shy, but she clearly felt super safe and happy with Dara. I came home to a calm, cuddly cat and a spotless place. Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Highly recommend Dara—she’s a total gem!!”

“I highly recommend Brooklynn's services! She did several check-ins with my cat while I was out of town and clearly kept him safe and entertained. She is highly communicative and she was very respectful of my pet and my space. It was a pleasure to hire her to care for my cat.”

“Anna was fantastic!! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter. I got pictures of Yoshi during Anna's stay which helped ease my anxiety. And Anna was a wonderful apartment guest- she left the apartment clean and tidy. Will absolutely be rebooking future stays with her!”

“Hunter did a great job on the first drop-in visit for my elderly, diabetic cat. She was very caring and attentive, and Cane was in perfect shape when I returned home. Hunter sent cute pics and a detailed report. I highly recommend her, and hope she'll be available next time I need a sitter!”

“We had such a great experience with Tina while we were away for two weeks. She took care of our two cats and did an amazing job. I was initially nervous to leave them, but I quickly felt at ease knowing they were in such good hands. Tina was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about their well-being. She sent daily updates with photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. One of our cats needed medication and was difficult about taking it while we were gone, but Tina was incredibly patient and persistent, trying different ways to help and keeping us updated the whole time. I would absolutely recommend Tina to anyone looking for a trustworthy, dedicated, and caring pet sitter!”

Perfect for high energy dogs - Jonesville
About: I have had dogs my entire life. My dogs have been and always will be members of the family. We currently do not have a dog as our 14 year old lab passed away from a stroke last year. We do allow dogs on furniture and we do take excursions to the park in good weather. This can be your dogs home away from home. I am retired and am home unless I am traveling. We have a fenced in property with woods and a creek that your dog can enjoy on walks unless you prefer they just stay in the main yard. When your dog is here so am I to ensure your dog is well cared for. I have a single family home with a fenced yard. Pets are allowed on furniture and bed. I enjoy excursions to the park with my dog for walks and relaxing. Children are grown and gone so it's just a couple who enjoy dogs. We have a senior Labrador who is very friendly, has all vaccinations and has free roam of the house. I am also available to sit for your dog in your home if you prefer. I follow any instructions for your dog you want me to, including administering medications.

About: Your dog will be my dog while in my care. I am a huge animal lover who has always made my animals a part of my family, not just an animal. Starting May 4th, I will be training for a new job. My training hours will be 8-5, if you can work around those time please reach out. My yard is not fenced so your babies will only be outside when I am out there with them, leashed if required. I do not agree with leaving a dog alone all night when they are already seeing a difference with their family being gone. If they are dog friendly they would have socialization as well with my friends and family dogs so they could get some interaction and extra exercise! I currently work from home so frequent potty breaks or administration of medication would not be an issue. We would be one big happy family all day long My dogs are not crated when I leave the house but do have an extra large one if required for your baby. If you need me to do a drop in visit, my hours for availability are in the air for the next couple of weeks until I am given my new works hours.
About: I got my first puppy when I was 7 years old- it taught me responsibility, care, and love for all animals. Knowing how much I loved this cute pup, I expanded my scope of what loving animals means to me. I adopted 2 cats 6 years later, and was in a 4-h club for 7 years and raised over 30 rabbits, along with tending to all the other animals at the fairgrounds. I had 3 cute little hamsters as pets when I was in high school as well. I have also had the pleasure of taking care of other peoples dogs, cats, birds, and many other animals, which I enjoy an immense amount. I am flexible in my schedule and can accommodate to anyones needs. I have a car to get to where I need to go, so I don’t have many things holding me back from giving your pet the care it needs. I have always been very respectful and caring for my animals, and I believe they deserve the utmost care. I care that the pets know my smell and my voice and trust me completely- I do not want any animal to feel as if there is a stranger in their home that they need to be wary of. I will do my very best to provide the most comforting experience for them.
About: I've had different dogs in the house for my whole life. As a kid my family brought dogs in for foster care. We've taken care of multiple dogs with disabilities, including deaf dogs and partially blind dogs. Dogs get along with me well and I'm good at getting shy dogs to warm up to me. I've also volunteered with the Jackson County Animal Shelter, working with the cats at PetSmart. I've also taken care of relatives'/friends'/neighbors' pets. Currently I spend most of my time at home working on my online classes so I will have plenty of time to spend caring for your dog. On the rare chance that I'm not home at least one of my parents are in the house and will be able to fill in for me while I'm out. The dogs that I own eat at the same time everyday and go out as needed, but if your dogs need to be treated differently it will be easy to change things for them. Just fill me in on what your pet needs to be taken care of properly and I should be able to get it done.
“Julia was so good and did a wonderful job with Gigi. Gigi was so happy and calm when we went Home. I will definitely book her again! Gigi is an older dog and Julia provided the care that made a difference.”

“Rodney was great with my Corgi, very patient and understanding. He was also very flexible with timing, which I appreciate. It was a good opportunity for Kix to socialize with a large number of dogs.”

“Danielle and her Alaska Huskies were wonderful! She was fun and helpful and obviously loved my fur babies and set limits so they knew what was acceptable behavior on her turf! She was accommodating as well. One evening my class went overtime. She had no problem keeping my boys until I could be there. She communicated by text to let me know how they were doing each day. She allowed us to visit before our appointed time so my dogs could be introduced to her dogs. Danielle was wonderful! I highly recommend her!!”

About: I have owned and raised many dogs and cats in my life and also have the experience of pet sitting other peoples pets since I was in high school. As of right now my schedule is pretty much wide open so I have as much free time through out the week to be available. I live in a one story home, in town, on my own with no other animals. I have a fenced in back yard that is secluded from the street.
About: I am the person my friends turn to when they have a behavior problem with their dogs, although I am a pet sitter, not a trainer. I have an affinity with dogs. I love to read their expressions and body language to understand their moods. I am retired and stay at home almost always. I have lots and lots of time for the dogs that are entrusted to my care. I have about 2 acres, fenced. I have 3 couches in the living room where me and dogs can get comfortable. I let dogs in, I let dogs out. We spend good weather outside. I am retired and home almost always. I have lots of time for your furkids. We spend nice days outside, and in bad weather we all cuddle in the livingroom. I have a huge fenced yard and 2 resident dogs. There is lots to explore here. Sometimes we all just lay out in the sun and soak up the rays.

I look forward to meeting you. Thanks, Sandy I am semi-retired so I have plenty of time to keep you pet on a schedule and pamper them! They will be comfortable and enjoy my home! About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 13. I have a puppy of my own who lovesss to socialize. I love to go on walks and car rides and go the park and can’t forget Starbucks and puppicinos. Taking dog and cat naps are cool too! I currently work 3 days a week so I have a lot of free time . I also am willing to work with pet parents on certain availabilities if needed. I have a fur baby who I usually take to the park , I only have a front yard , so we like to go to nice parks with bigger spaces to walk and run around !
About: I am working on some pretty amazing updates. Additional outdoor yards are in the works, as well as a perimeter fence around the home property! I have also added Tracki to my collars. Tracki runs on global GPS (satellite feedback) and not cellular feedback, giving that extra security for your pups with no interruption in tracking! Bark & Barn is a privately insured in-home kennel that provides overnight and day boarding options as well as drop-in visits/walks for all pets, exotic included. I also provide optional training for dogs. I have five years of experience as a veterinary assistant in a high volume multi-species setting. With this, I have gained the knowledge, training, and experience in animal behavior as well as proper technique in safe animal hold, administering all forms of medication, administering emergency fluids, and animal CPR. Your pups will have access to multiple sections of my home, a fenced play yard, and walks over 120 acres of farm fields and streamed woods! I offer basic puppy training during board and day stays, including potty and crate training. I will gladly accept shark puppies, understanding completely how difficult these pups can be for many caretakers who are not experienced in their breed characteristics. I've worked with and owned dogs for over 17 years. I have a preference for high energy/high drive dogs, though I love all of them just the same. I am a farm mom of school aged children, work remotely, a full-time online student at KCC while my kids sleep, and have plenty of time to devote to your pets. I will follow strict biosecurity and safety measures. I am by no means a "doggy playcare". For their and my safety, I do not allow guest pups to interact together. I have sectioned off portions of my home and large basement for roam, and utilize sanitized in-home kennels for overnight and unattended times as well as movement of guests (inside, outside, walks, etc). I currently have full availability outside of school drop-off in the mornings and flexible pick-ups in the afternoon. I spend my free time caring for my own animals and attending online classes and seminars! I have a knack for social cues and when and how to approach. Discipline is and will always be reinforcement based. I have experience with reactive dogs and understand any dog can be reactive in the right setting, so meet and greets are a must! Our personal working dogs are not within the home's boundaries and remain with their flock at all times.

About: I’ve owned multiple dogs my whole life, from our current German Shepherd and Siberian Husky to the two pugs we adopted when I was in high school to the lovey dog we found as a kid that we named Scooby-Doo because he looked just like him. I’ve helped care for all of them from walks around the block to feeding time to going outside just for potty and play time. I’ve also helped out a few friends with their dogs since high school while they were away. I’m currently a stay at home mom with a decently open schedule after my kids go to school in the morning and once my husband gets home from work during the week and am available during all hours of the weekend. If you are comfortable with your pets coming to my house I have two very friendly dogs who love play dates if your fur babies play well with others and a big back yard and a fenced in side yard for plenty of running around room or games of fetch.

“I felt very confident leaving my dog with Jenny. She related well to him and took him for a walk and ent pictures. She was very easy to work with and I could tell she really liked my dog. I am so happy to have found such a great dog sitter!”
