About: I've cared for both healthy cats and cats with underlying conditions. For 10 years I had a cat that was diabetic that I had to administer insulin to. My current cat is 15 and requires a lot of love and attention.My cat Mabel is a rescued kitten/ cat almost 16 years ago on Halloween night while coming home from work , about 4 cars ahead of me something went flying out the window . I was able to stop and pull over due to not having other cars behind me . It was very cold that night and the sun was just starting to set . I got out of my car and looked around for a few minutes but didn't see anything and I got ready to leave I hear faint cry and I turned and looked down into some tall weeds and there she was , this poor malnourished kitten crying for help . To make a long story short I got her home and the day my wife and I took her to vet . They kept her for 3 days running ivs into her . We able to come and after 3 days thinking she wasn't going make it. And here she is still with after such a traumatic start to her life . I am very grateful to have Mabel as my best friend and wouldn't trade for the world . I love you very much Mabel .

About: Lifetime pet owners of cats and dogs alike, Maeve and Jason have shared decades of pet-sitting duties for friends and family and all that entails from crate training to medication administration. We have flexible schedules, reliable transportation with dog seatbelts, a large wrap around fully fenced-in yard, and several forested acres with private nature trails to share with your best friend. Maeve is a WFH graphic designer and Jason is a self-employed carpenter living with our two sweet velcro cavalier king charles spaniels — Cricket & Disco. We have very flexible schedules with lots of love and attention to spare. We can easily break away for walks and drop-ins. We live across from Eagle Lake with a large wraparound fully fenced-in yard overlooking 15 private forested acres with trails for leashed nature walks. We have oodles of experience walking, camping, hiking, swimming, and playing with dogs in all environments and elements. About: New to Rover.com but 10+ years of fostering over 400 babies for local shelters. They were all spoiled by the time they were ready for adoption. (No apologies for that 🙃) Your pet will be well cared for/spoiled while they visit! I can take two dogs, for the safety of your pet(s) and mine, only if they are from the same household. Love animals and miss fostering I did while in California. Your family member will be in caring hands who has years of experience with puppies and kittens who needed medication. About: I’ve had animals my entire life. My real passion is dogs and I’m focused on dog sitting/boarding/daycare, but I’m happy to take care of cats and drop in for other animals. I have owner trained one at home service dog and am in the process of owner training a public access service dog. I have two yellow labs (one bench, one field), a mixed breed rescue, and a cat. All my animals are very animal friendly. My big lab does take a noisy minute to adjust, but he’s a big sweetheart once he’s got the lay of the land. I have a yard with a living fence and a wooded property where the dogs can be walked if needed. I am home full time and just becoming an empty nester, so I have plenty of time and attention to devote to our furry friends. Most days it will just be me and the animals on our wooded property so there’s plenty of time and room for relaxation and play. I have a fairly large fenced yard and wooded surrounding property. My home is laid back and the animals are treated like family. They are welcome on furniture and have plenty of room to play and toys to play with. I just ask they be on tick and heartworm prevention as there are many bugs in the woods. I have regular experience with basic grooming and administering meds. I have crates available if needed or preferred. I’ll do my best to care for them as you want. Our big lab, George does have some scary looking anxiety upon meeting (barking and growling). If you are boarding/daycare/meet and greet with us, George will be in a pen on leash, harness, and muzzle to start (either inside or outside weather dependent-prefer outside). As your dog explores, I will work with George to adapt to the new situation and eventually greet your dog appropriately. Once that happens, he’s good with appropriate play, boundary setting, etc…. It’s just the initial greeting that needs a little more management.

About: If I could pick one thing that seperates me from other walkers/sitters, it would be that I genuinely have a strong passion and connection to animals. I know all the DO'S and DON'TS when it comes to taking care of a pet. I have a dog of my own and I love and care for him like he's my child. I know not to give him chocolate, grapes, raisins and to keep him away from hazards like antifreeze, oil spills, dead animals, trash, poisons and other dogs feces. I'm also very aware when it comes to the details of an animals behavior and partake in fast acting solutions when it comes to avoiding conflict between them. I could say with a full heart that your pet would be comfortable, feel loved and safe under my care. :) I currently am available anytime for drop-ins and/or walks M-F and have full availability on weekends unless I have otherwise marked "not available" on my availability calender. :) At this moment, I am not currently available for overnight house/pet sitting, but I'm here for the rest! I normally take the pet/pets outside to go potty first thing, give treats, give attention, give love, feed, distribute supplements/medication if needed, fill water, play with toys, take photos for my client, walk, pick up doggy poo, scoop/change the litter box and clean up any messes that are made while the client is away.

My senior dog has Stage 3 kidney disease and we provide daily care for him, including oral and injectable meds, and special diets. About: We have a good sized house which we share with our sweet rescue dog, Penelope, 2 kittens, Lilo and Stitch and our almost 2 year old daughter. I offer dog walking, sitting, overnight, part day hang outs and even training! We live near several parks that are dog friendly which we frequent regularly. I've always lived with dogs but began training the family and neighbor's dogs around the age of 10. I want to make note that I understand it is a big responsibility to care for someone else's fur child and that I take it very seriously. “Leandra and her husband went beyond our expectations for taking care of Harley. We have never left him with anyone, he always traveled with us but this time Harley couldn’t go. They sent pictures and if we had any questions they answered right away. We had no worries leaving him and would highly recommend Leandra.”
“We couldn't have gotten any more lucky than we did with Julie & her husband. Our Nya Bear looked like she had a great time in their home. Unfortunately she just started to blow her coat right before we dropped her off, but they continued to brush her out throughout her stay. We'll definitely be having her stay with Julie & her husband from now on when we need someone to look after her.”

They went above and beyond by sending plenty of pictures, which really showed how comfortable and happy Point was during his stay, it meant so much to see him having such a great time. It’s clear they truly care about the dogs they watch and treat them like their own. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and I will most definitely be having them watch Point again. “Absolutely amazing experience. Lisa and her family are super sweet and welcoming, and they live on a beautiful piece of property. I honestly could not imagine Zeus having a better time anywhere else. Lisa was very responsive and communicative the whole stay, sent updates, and went above and beyond with anything I needed. She was really understanding about my schedule and the fact that I tend to run late, and never made me feel bad about it. Zeus clearly enjoyed being there and was comfortable from the start. I can’t say enough about how well she took care of Zeus. I would happily trust Lisa to watch Zeus any time and for as long as needed. I couldn’t recommend her more – just a lovely family and an awesome sitter.”
