Our home is very dog-friendly but to that end, kept very clean. We do tick checks and our girls are always up to date with their vaccinations and preventative meds. JIC, we have reliable transportation and are not far from Michiana Veterinary Hospital. We are also able to drive to your preferred vet.

About: I've cared for both healthy cats and cats with underlying conditions. For 10 years I had a cat that was diabetic that I had to administer insulin to. My current cat is 15 and requires a lot of love and attention.My cat Mabel is a rescued kitten/ cat almost 16 years ago on Halloween night while coming home from work , about 4 cars ahead of me something went flying out the window . I was able to stop and pull over due to not having other cars behind me . It was very cold that night and the sun was just starting to set . I got out of my car and looked around for a few minutes but didn't see anything and I got ready to leave I hear faint cry and I turned and looked down into some tall weeds and there she was , this poor malnourished kitten crying for help . To make a long story short I got her home and the day my wife and I took her to vet . They kept her for 3 days running ivs into her . We able to come and after 3 days thinking she wasn't going make it. And here she is still with after such a traumatic start to her life . I am very grateful to have Mabel as my best friend and wouldn't trade for the world . I love you very much Mabel .

About: New to Rover.com but 10+ years of fostering over 400 babies for local shelters. They were all spoiled by the time they were ready for adoption. About: For several years I owned a Doggy B and B where the dogs were part of my family. There were no cages or crates which the owners really appreciated. They slept in bed with me, jumped and lounged on all the furniture, watched TV, ate plenty of homemade treats, went swimming in the pool and don't forget the car rides to the park and river. Every weekend I would shop for new, safe and tough toys. We celebrated holidays and birthdays with homemade pupcakes, presents and costumes. They also got a "report" card saying how their day was and what they did that day or weekend. There were lots of pictures taken and shared too. Areas and toys were thoroughly inspected each day to ensure a safe and fun playtime. I love pets! All kinds of them. Your pet will get my undivided attention. I bring toys & treats plus send lots of pictures while you're away. That way you can enjoy our pawty too. Since I can't have pets in my home, I'll come to your pet's home. I care for them like they are mine. Give them lots of pets, play with toys inside & outside, walk them on a leash several times a day, watch TV with them & most importantly, share the bed at night. I have a 13-year-old black lab and used to have a 20-year-old cat that I have helped take care of since they were born! About: We have a good sized house which we share with our sweet rescue dog, Penelope, 2 kittens, Lilo and Stitch and our almost 2 year old daughter. I offer dog walking, sitting, overnight, part day hang outs and even training! We live near several parks that are dog friendly which we frequent regularly. I've always lived with dogs but began training the family and neighbor's dogs around the age of 10. I want to make note that I understand it is a big responsibility to care for someone else's fur child and that I take it very seriously. I am home each day with my young daughter who is great with animals but in case you prefer she stay separate, we have gates and even a heated barn if full separation is needed. Our old girl has free rein of the house, even our kitties get outside every once in a while but we have the ability to set up a small fenced in area or a zip line style tether, and of course walks as needed. We love to snuggle all furry friends but also know some prefer their space.
About: Have experience with caring for multiple pets at once, including puppies, elderly cats & dogs, & diabetic pets. Would love to help take care of your family members! I WFH and set my own schedule, so I'm very flexible in regards to my house sitting availability! As for walking, mostly available during the week but can negotiate for weekends in certain cases. I do not pet sit in my own home because I have cats of my own, but have a lot of experience house/pet sitting in clients homes and can provide references.
About: Ive taken care of cats and dogs for friends and family since I was young and currently have 5 of my own! Three of which since they were babies and three rescues! I currently work 5 days a week, but my hours vary and can work around whatever you may need! For at stays at my house, my husband is usually home when I am not! I have a fenced yard and plenty of open space inside as well. All of my animals have been socialized their whole lives and love meeting new friends!

About: Boarding services: I have a pet friendly home with no children. We have one small doggo that loves other dogs and enjoys making new friends. I am currently working from home. I have been a dog owner for my entire life and grew up on a farm. Dog walking: I try to walk at least two miles with my doggo a day. I can include your best friend in the walk and walk them wherever I need to go. I have been a dog owner all of my life and love getting them out into the world. House sitting: I have house/dog sat for many people from 2 weeks to a weekend. I can also just check in on your doggo if needed. My dog loves to also come along if allowed to meet new friends.
About: I get along with all dogs that are well behaved or not! I have had dogs my entire life, and many other pets as well! I love dogs the most, but l love all animals! I'm available m-s from am to pm! I work from home and am able to make my own schedule! Which is really nice, so if I'm needed morning or evenings I'm almost always available! I use positive reinforcement whenever possible, and always try and make sure dogs are using their manners, and best behavior. I am comfortable with dogs that need a little extra time to warm up to strangers as well, I have been around dogs my entire life with my own, friends and families! I love training and agility and all things dog! I have watched many videos on how to administer CPR and first aid. But have taken no classes. I have experienced a few accidents in my day with dogs, seizures, cuts, etc. So I have some experience in some things, but not anything to serious.
