About: I have had dogs my entire life, and love spending time with them. I would have a house full if I could! I have experience taking care of dogs from 8 weeks old to senior, and I have administered medication of many kinds. I am currently a stay at home mom of 4 (teens,tweens and a kindergarten age kiddo), so I am home most of the day. Some of my kids do participate in school sports and there are times where I am gone for a few hours here or there. Besides that, I’m always home. I currently live on a lake, tucked back about 5 miles from the highway. It’s a new construction, so while I do plan to eventually get a fence put up, right now I do not have a fenced yard. I do however have a tie out for potty breaks, and will go on daily walks. If requested, I will personally go outside with your pup during potty breaks. I also have two golden retrievers in our home that love to have fun, swim, and play. They are guaranteed to keep your pup busy. You need to be aware that I can only watch pups who tolerate kids. While my kids are very respectful of animals, I do still need confirmation they are okay with kids present in the home. They also will be crated in the event that I need to leave home for a short time.

About: I worked at a free-roam high volume cat lounge for a year, where I lead a team of volunteers to take care of all the cats alongside me. Daily, I handled cats to administer oral medications, give fluids and vaccinations when needed. Very experienced and confident with handling cats of all temperaments, even with nail trimming!

About: I’ve never lived in a house without pets and I’m good at building a rapport with them. I don’t mind if an animal is skittish, nervous, or hyper. I will always bring the best care to your furry loved ones if you bring me on to help. I currently work from 4pm until midnight at the latest so I can drop in while the client is at work and if I’m given proper notice I can schedule around my job. In the client’s home I will be able to stop in frequently and/or stay for a few hours to keep their pet company. I will also be able to feed them and give them water and take them on nice long walks.

About: My entire childhood there was always a dog or two in the house. I grew up with 5 different English setters that I helped take care of as starting as young as 10 years old. Being the high energy dogs that they are, I became well acquainted with daily walks and lots of attention and care. Today I’m the proud father of a 3 year old golden doodle named Winston. Despite being a couch potato he also loves the beach, camping, and could play fetch until his legs gave out. I’ve been working for home for 5 years now as a project manager, which has allowed me to proved constant care and attention to Winston and my parent 3 English setters whenever they have been out of town. Living just outside of downtown Negaunee, my neighborhood is dog friendly and the perfect place for a walk. I also offer a medium sized fenced in backyard, which is perfect for fetch and play time. I work from home M-F, so I’m always home and available to provide care. I also have a 3 year old golden doodle that I’m caring for fully time each day. I have a medium sized fenced in back yard with a covered porch. It is the perfect size for short distance fetch and playtime. Plus the porch offers some shade from the sun if they enjoy sitting outside and people watching.

Ninja looks very relaxed and comfortable at Jered's home and comes back happy. Jered patiently talked to me about some questions I had for a future boarding reservation and was kind enough to take his time addressing all my concerns. About: I’ve volunteered with dogs since I was 11, lived with large dogs my since childhood, and have been working jobs in animal welfare for 2.5 years. Working in a pet hospital, dog rescue facility, and a county shelter gave me a lot of experience and professional training with handling dogs of all sizes safely, especially anxious dogs. I was trained to administer daily medications and even fluids as needed. My daily tasks were feedings, cleanings, walking, and playing with our dogs. I am free Mondays and Wednesdays. I work from 8am - 6pm at the shelter on Tues, Thurs, Fri and Sat. I would love to house sit for a night or two if this schedule can work around you and your animals. While checking up on your dogs, I can play with them until they’re tired out and teach them basic tricks and commands. I have experience with anxious and reactive dogs and will treat your pet with compassion, using positive reinforcements. I’m a patient pet sitter and would love to spend time with your dogs and cats. About: I have taken care of dogs for awhile not only have I watched them, but I have also owned them! I am perfectly fine taking them for walks I would really love that! Or just watching them for a couple of hours or for the night while the family is out! I have taken care of older dogs too! ( I am not having dogs at my house, app won’t let me update that) Now accepting overnights. I will be working days at my other job so I now have more availability for over nights if anyone is interested! I don’t have any pets currently due to the place I live at. When we had dogs we would always keep them on a leash so they don’t run away or go and randomly jump on other people. Let them out whenever needed and feed twice a day.

Open to traveling further and staying for longer periods of time if needed. We can provide referrals from folks we have supported with their animals over the years. We always make sure to check-in and update daily and are very respectful of individual's needs.
