About: I am a stay at home mom with 2 school - aged boys. My kids love dogs almost as much as I do and are very good at helping out with them. I have been a dog owner for 30+ years and our dogs have always been treated like family, including having their own Christmas stockings. We adopted our sweet senior rottie mix, Roary, back in 2023 and our indoor/outdoor kitten, Biscuit, in 2025. I will only care for dogs in my home that get along with children, dogs, and cats so everyone will feel comfortable. If your dog plays well with others, (s)he will be treated as family! I work from home, so I spend the majority of my day at home. Your pet will not be alone for long, if at all. We live on 3 acres and while we don’t have a fenced yard, your pet will spend plenty of time outside (on a leash) and be walked around the yard every few hours. I currently work from home. I will be able to take your pet for multiple walks daily and attend to their needs consistently. Even though I work from home, my time is important. Last minute requests will have a $25 charge added to the booking. I do not have a fenced yard, but I have a good amount of property and will walk your pup throughout the day. If they need more exercise, I do have a long lead I can put them on to play fetch or just run around. I do not allow the pups to be outside unsupervised or unleashed at any time.

Being a dog groomer for over ten years has given me the opportunity to get accustomed to all different breeds and ages of dogs. I've worked with everything from five pounds on up. I do require that you sign a pet care agreement form for day visits and a grooming consent form if you would like your dog groomed. I do require that your dogs be up to date on their rabies vaccination (need to show proof) and on a flea preventative. I will not book without doing a meet and greet first. We need to make sure this is the best possible environment for your dog and for mine. I am certified in dog first aid and CPR should a situation arise. If I have to leave the house for any unforeseen reason your dog will be crated. This is for your and my dog's safety.

We need to make sure this is the best possible environment for your dog and for mine. I am certified in dog first aid and CPR should a situation arise. If I have to leave the house for any unforeseen reason your dog will be crated. This is for your and my dog's safety.

When going for walks I like to stick to trails or sidewalked areas that have decent cell reception, just in case. I keep treats with me, extra bags, and have a phone holder for my wrist so I can have a hand free, especially for dogs who get excited from wildlife and could suddenly pull really hard anytime. I keep a pop up bowl and a bottle for water breaks. Before going for longer walks I touch test the path in case they are too hot. I also have experience putting jackets on dogs in the colder months.

I did attend a vet tech program in 2018. I have experience with puppies, all the way to senior care. I am comfortable and experienced at administering meds as well! I am a stay at home mom to a school aged boy. I am home pretty much all day every day. Making my availability extremely flexible. All pets will be at the main floor of our home, we do have a basement. We are not fenced in but are completely surrounded by woods on our 5 acres of land! Most of the dogs I watch will be put on a leash outside unless I am told they won't run away! Also, will crate if that is what they are used to!
