“What an amazing dog care experience with Karma and her family! From the moment I met them, I felt relieved and confident that Ginger and my JRT/Shepherd Mix puppy, Bhageera, would be in safe hands. I was already confident about Ginger, since he is calm and composed. But Bhageera is very energetic and, as a puppy and a working dog, he needs more than just a sitter. Karma and her family completely understood his needs and provided the perfect care while we were on our trip to Isle Royale. Since Isle Royale National Park does not allow pets, we had to find a pet sitter — and we were so lucky we did. As an added bonus, John, Karma’s husband, owns and operates the Isle Royale Queen ferry. What an amazing coincidence and what a wonderful family! Their Aussie Doodle, Max, became Bhageera’s buddy and gave him the stimulation and play he needed. Meanwhile, Ginger was able to relax in a quieter environment. Karma’s kids also helped care for the puppy and made him feel comfortable and loved. Overall, I am beyond happy. This was the perfect combination for our furry family, and we are so grateful for the care they provided while we crossed Lake Superior. We frequently visit the Keweenaw area during the summer and fall, and we will surely be seeking their help during our next visit. I would recommend Karma 100%.”

Additionally, I spent four months shadowing at a veterinary clinic, where I gained valuable knowledge about the care and wellbeing of cats and dogs. “Ashley is amazing! We have a new GSD puppy who’s 10 weeks old, she’s exactly what you expect, full of energy and biting. Ashley watches Bean twice a week while me and my fiancé are at work and unable to be home with her. She does a great job at sending us photos, videos, and keeping us informed on how Bean is doing. We feel great about leaving Bean with her, she really gives us peace of mind that Bean is not only safe but having fun too. P.S. We were the cancelled booking, we booked Ashely the night before the date Bean would’ve been with her and Ashely was more than willing to take Bean for the day on such short notice! Unfortunately she got sick, which happens to the best of us 😅”

“We were in Houghton to visit Isle Royale. The issue was we were traveling in our RV with our 3-year-old Labrador and we didn't want to leave him alone for such a long day. We were lucky enough to find Rylie and I really can't say enough good things about her. She came over three times throughout the day to let our dog out, walk him, and spent time with him. Each time she sent us several new pictures and communicated wonderfully throughout the day. She allowed us to enjoy the day and not have to stress over our dog being watched and taking care of. About: I rescued our first dog, Trigger, in 2012 with my husband. He came from an abusive and neglected household. He lived his best life with us, and I still miss him terribly. We then rescued our current dog, Zeus, in 2020. He is almost 5. I will make sure your pet gets all the attention and love they deserve! I work during the school year (8-3), but am off during the summer. I would be able to come after 3:00 if need be during the school year.
