“We are very happy with the care Caroline provided for our dog, Scooby, while we were on our vacation. She pays special attention to the needs of her guests. He had a wonderful stay.”

“Stephanie is the epitome of controlled chaos. Her property is what I imagine dog heaven looks like…lots and lots of acreage to run, play, and romp! I had a slight change in plans and had to change my drop off time; Stephanie took this in stride and was so gracious. Her place is clean, open, and airy - and you can tell she loves animals! We are so happy to have found Stephanie!”

“Couldn't have worked out any better. Kelly and Brandon were amazing care givers for Maverick. They made us feel completely comfortable by taking care of our dog in a personable way. We were updated frequently and received photos letting us know all was well. Maverick has a new best friend in Arvon.”

“Cody and Byron were absolutely amazing! We had 2 little dogs, a 16 year old yorkie and a 6 year old chihuahua. Our older pup is needy and the figured him out right away. The dogs absolutely loved the outdoor space and we have lots of pictures of them cuddled on the couch with blankets. They stayed for 8 days which I have never left them for that long before. Cody and Byron made them feel at home and made us feel comfortable and confident for the entire time. I would definitely use them again!”

“I feel like we hit the jackpot with Bill and Sandy! This was our first time leaving our dog with someone other than family and he is almost 8. We picked them because they only take 1 dog at a time, they charged the same amount as it would be to board in a kennel, but he got the 1 on 1 love and attention from them and in the comfort of their beautiful home. It was just like going to grandma grandpa's house! We did a meet and greet the day before and my dog seem comfortable with them from the moment we walked in. They knew all the right things to look for- his energy level, his appetite, his body language. They sent updates every single day and included several pictures too. We were seriously so happy and pleased with how well they cared for our dog. It was not easy leaving him but it was so reassuring to know how well he was being taken care of. I would recommend Bill and Sandy to anyone! We got so lucky to pick them on our first time using Rover and I wouldn't use anyone else besides them going forward!”

“Paula was so sweet and welcoming to our dog Bowie. He had a wonderful stay and enjoyed all the adventures. We will definitely book her again the next time we need someone!”

“Zachary was fantastic hosting Spooky for an extended stay. He was very patient with Spooky building up his confidence in his temporary home and sent lots of photos and updates about how he was doing. I can tell from the photos Spooky became quite comfortable with Zachary and in his house. I would definitely request Zachary watch Spooky again.”

“Karen was simply amazing. She took wonderful care of our dog, Daisy. And we would absolutely have her watch Daisy again. Karen offered Daisy healthy treats throughout her stay (after making sure it was okay with us). She sent pictures and updates everyday. Daisy was often cozy, comfortable, and snuggled up. Overall, it was obvious to us that Karen is a real animal lover. We are so grateful to have found her.”

“I am so grateful for Katie and Kristen for their amazing care of my Boston Terrier, Abby! I was going to a conference for two days and plans fell through for her, but Katie and Kristen were amazing and I was able to book with them for two nights. They sent photos and updates which I absolutely adored. Abby is totally pooped after having an amazing time with them and I wholeheartedly can say with certainy that you should book with them when they’re available. You can leave your beloved pet with them as they are in good hands. Thank you so much for all of your help and all of the updates. I am so grateful for you both! And Abby says thank you for taking care of me!”

“Lauren and Chris are amazing sitters as always. They are my dogs favorite people to stay with, they make her feel so loved and comfortable when she stays with them!”

“Sara was so wonderful! Our dog Jovie stayed with her for a long weekend when our plans changed and needed a sitter on short notice. She was so accommodating on meeting beforehand and Jovie took to her well. She got lots of walks and extra love with Sara. Jovie came home happy and we were so grateful to have lots of updates and photos during our trip for ease of mind! Thanks Sara!”

“Wow - Anna was an amazing sitter! We were a little nervous leaving our pup (Uki) with a new person, but right from the start, we knew she was in for a great experience. Even before we booked, Anne agreed to have my husband come to her house to allow Uki to get acclimated/make sure it was a good fit. My husband instantly felt at ease with Anne and had no concerns leaving Uki with her. During our vacation, Anne sent us daily photos and *the most adorable* daily status updates on how Uki was doing. She went out of her way to make Uki special treats, accommodate her dietary preferences, allowed her on her sofa, and took her on long walks, and showered her with attention. Honestly, I imagine Uki was a bit sad to leave! We are so grateful to Anne for her attention to our pup and would rebook with her in an instant/recommend her to all our friends. Great first experience with Rover!”
“Renee took very good care of Bean for eleven days while my husband and I took a cruise. It was so nice to know Bean had company and was in good hands while we were away. This was my first experience with boarding a cat and the Rover app was a great help. I searched offers in my area, read Renee’s profile and we exchanged information. Bean enjoyed the meet and greet and that sealed the deal. Renee sent pictures and kept us informed. I highly recommend her service.”

“What an amazing 1st visit my little guy had with Skip and Mary!! He even got to meet a little friend during his daily (and multiple) walks (Miss Gracie) and they were like two peas in a pod. He was pampered and cared for just like he was their own. Beautiful stay and will definitely be back.”

“Toby had so much fun with Ariana that she didn't want to come home! It's great knowing that my dog has a home away from home whenever I need to go out of town. Ariana was able to devote a lot of her free time to give Toby tons of love and care. Toby came home more happy than when she left. I will most definitely rebook Ariana every time I go out of town. Thank you again Ariana!”
“Our dog had a wonderful visit with Barbara and Dirk. They have a great setup for dogs, are friendly, and are good communicators. They even put up with us being later than expected on pickup. We’ll definitely use them again.”

“Betsy is fantastic!! So great to our cats and so communicative and on-time. We trust her to make sure our kitties are well taken care of when we are out of town!! Would 100% recommend!”

“Alexis was fantastic. 🙌 First time Rover users and she made everything so comfortable and professional. She took great care of our cat for 10 days and was truly on top of everything more than any sitter we’ve hired before. Thank you!!!”

“Hadlie was conscientious and communicated well, letting us know well in advance of any unforeseen delays. Her daily updates were helpful and showed that the kitties were calm and relaxed. Will definitely book again!”

“We are so thankful for Chelsea! She took care of my sweet baby, Archer while we were away and he couldn’t have been in better hands. Chelsea was very communicative and sent plenty of pictures to put a smile on our faces each time. This was our first time with Rover and we will absolutely be using this service again AND specifically asking for Chelsea!”

“I am so thankful for Hannah taking care of my cat while I was out of town. I had to leave last minute for my dads funeral and memorial services. The washing machine flooded the basement, ankle deep, the night before the flight out- not the only disaster. With Hannah / Rover, my kitty was one thing that was in good hands, one less worry. I messed up dates on the app, Hannah fixed it. She called me to let me know the power was shut off so I was able to fix it same day. I accidentally ordered a bunch of books that got delivered after we left, she brought them in. 10/10 would recommend. Happy happy cat and everything good when we got back.”

“Mara provided outstanding care to my pet! She was attentive, punctual, and even went above and beyond when there was a small complication on my end. I highly recommend her services and look forward to booking with her the next time we travel.”
“Jonathan and Kayleigh were awesome. They took such great care of my Lucy girl going beyond what was required to make sure she got her attention and outside time. They took tons of pictures and it was clear that Lucy was in heaven while they were there. Super chill, very easy to talk to, would be very happy to have them look after Lucy again.”

“Alexis came over to meet Mabel and Edith ahead of potential overnight stays and occasional walks. She was patient with our very friendly (and very excited) girls, who love new people and have absolutely no sense of personal space. She asked thoughtful questions about their routines and personalities, and even about their sister cat, Samoa Jane. Alexis quickly picked up on the girls’ quirks and need for attention, balancing engaging with them while also taking the time to answer our questions. The girls went looking for her after she left, a clear sign they were happy to have met a new friend!”

“Autumn was excellent at communicating and sending photos and updates of our cat while we were gone. She followed directions perfectly and our cat was calm and happy when we got home.”

“Allison was very helpful in taking care of our two senior cats. Normally when we’re gone they’re very stressed out but we came home to two very relaxed kitties. Thanks Allison!”

About: The one thing I love most in the world? you guessed it- cats. I’ve been a cat lover for as long as I can remember, and have owned one (or a few) ever since. I have experience caring for cats with all kinds of personalities, from outgoing attention seekers to shy cats who prefer their space. I have cared for cats of all ages (kittens to seniors of 20+ years) and temperaments. I’ve cat sat for my aunt and uncle, past rover clients, and friends as well. I understand how important it is to keep cats comfortable, maintain their routines, and make sure they feel loved and safe while their owners are away. Whether your cat wants playtime, cuddles, treats, or simply a quiet companion, I’m happy to provide the care and attention they need. 😊🐾

About: Experience: senior cats, bathing, nail trims, administering pills/liquid medication My philosophy: Cats need play too! I make sure your cats get the entertainment they need whether its the magic laser, the elusive string, some cuddles, or spa time (brushing!). I always leave a fresh bowl of water and a clean litterbox before heading out the door. For indoor cats: I am a triple checker when it comes to opening doors. No escape artists get past me. More on my experience: I have and 11 year old black cat Scarecrow and 10 year old orange cat Mewtwo, both indoor cats. As they age I have learned a lot about administering medications when they don't want them and giving baths when they are feeling feisty. I have been pet sitting for friends and neighbors for years now and love learning about every cats individual quirks and how to respect their space if they are shy or engage with them if they are social.

“Chelsea was kind enough to take our last minute request to catsit our family of furbabies which we greatly appreciated! She was very communicative throughout, including the meet and greet and the actual catsitting. We will definitely be asking for her services in the future!”

“Absolutely amazing staff — so loving, caring, and friendly. Raven is usually sad when I drop her off at daycare, but unlike usual, she was happy and excited, which says everything to me. It was clear she felt loved and well cared for. I truly appreciated that experience. Highly recommend!”

“Harriet had a great visit with Monica today! I really appreciated the care she gave Harriet and her careful integration with the other pups she was boarding to ensure that all the dogs felt safe and loved.”

“I am so happy we found Theresa and Glenn they’re wonderful people in love going to their house and playing with the other dogs as soon as we pull up she’s very excited to be there. I feel blessed to have found them.”

“So very nice! This was an unplanned trip for a family emergency. I was so lucky that Catherine was available last minute. She was very flexible regarding my needs to visit someone in hospital. My dog was very happy at her home. It was a relief to know he was being taken care of so well. Highly recommend.”

About: I’ve had animals my whole life. I grew up on a dairy goat farm. All sorts of dogs, horses, cats, cows, goats, etc. I have had Chihuahuas all the way through German Shepherds. Puppy age all the way through their whole lives. I am the biggest animal (especially dog) lover! I love meeting new personalities. I would spend 24/7 lounging around with my dogs & cats if I could!🩷 I currently have a 16 year old Minature Schnauzer, and an under 1 year old Goldendoodle. My old girl currently takes quite a few medications and likes her alone time. My little man loves to play, be active, and requires hands on often. Therefore, I work with a spectrum of needs. I will make sure your baby has all the play time (or alone/rest time) they need!🩷 I am a professional MMA fighter & bar tend on the weekends! Most of my job consists of being at the gym just a couple hours at a time. And I live 5 minutes away from where I train! It makes spending time with & caring for pets easy and frequent. I only bar tend two days on the weekend (and my boyfriend is home most of that time too 😁 ) Home visits 🏡: In my client’s homes, I can easily care for your pets however you need. I will play games with your furry friends, lounge around with them, etc. I am a very active person & love taking long walks myself, so I would love to do that with your dog if you’d like! I am a reliable, very detail oriented gal. Whatever instructions you leave, I’ll get them done. I love when my clients can come back to a clean, comfortable space after caring for their fur babies. Boarding 🐶: I have a fenced in back yard on a quieter side street. We have an older Miniature Schnauzer, under 1 year old Goldendoodle, and two gentle, quiet cats that lounge around (pretty much keeping to themselves) 🩷 I have plenty of space in my living area to have the zoomies. I have a spare room to give your pet some rest and seclusion too! That means I also have ample room to crate your doggie, if needed. We would love to have your best friend come hang with us 🙂
“Panda came back so-o-o relaxed and happy from Laura and Manuel's. (He was happy to go there, and in no big hurry to come home!) Good amount of feedback of how he spent his day and how he behaved. Their dogs are such a sweet little dog pack for any pup to join! And Laura is so good at putting anxious dogs at ease.”

“She did an amazing job with my dog Cassidy. She was truly an angel to take care of my sweet girl while we went to a concert! She was very communicative and sent me lots of pictures and videos. Will definitely recommend her and use her again next time we're in New Haven!”

“Toast had 3 daycare stays with Kaitlyn while I was in the area visiting friends. Toast was so happy to see Kaitlyn at the beginning of every stay and came home calm and content. A huge storm occurred during one of the stays which frightened Toast, and Kaitlyn helper her feel safe by giving her a hiding place and wrapping her up. Couldn't be happier knowing Toast was in safe and caring hands!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and now have an 8-year-old Golden Retriever. He’s getting a little older but we still enjoy walks around the neighborhood and running around the yard. We like having dog guests to hang out with. I’ve watched dogs for friends and family over the years and enjoy having them around the house. I only host one dog at a time (or multiple dogs from the same family). I can provide daycare and overnight stays in my home. Can be flexible with start and end times and can include pick-up or drop-off, if near by. Your dog’s safety and comfort are the priority here. I only take one dog at a time (or multiple from the same family) to ensure a relaxed environment for the dogs and for me. I work from home, so the dogs are rarely left alone, and they’ll have regular access to a fenced yard, walks, and time to relax inside. I try to keep things low-stress and stick to your dog’s normal routine as much as possible, whether that’s feeding schedules, medications, crate preferences, or exercise needs. My dog is friendly, and comfortable around other dogs, but I always prefer slow introductions to make sure we'll be a good match. I’m happy to send updates and photos during your dog’s stay so you know how they're doing
“Andrew was great!! Maizie has some insecurities and bonded immediately with Andrew and his parter. She had a great day and a great meet and greet and we are all looking forward to Maizie return visit!! Andrew loves dogs and took time to ask all the right questions. We felt totally comfortable leaving Maizie in his care!!!”

I go on daily walks, perfect to give your pet time to stretch and get some fresh air I have ample space for pets to roam and play in my home. There’s also space to crate your pet if preferred. There is a walking path right outside my door that we can use for walks and potty *I walk cats as well! - in stroller*
“My dog has pretty severe separation anxiety as well as fear of other dogs. It has been challenging finding the right caretaker for him. Richard and Sarah have been fantastic with Guinness and he enjoys his time there. A little out of the way to get him there but worth it because of how great Richard and Sarah are with our boy.”

About: I have owned two dogs as pets. One lived to be 17. My dogs I have owned were both spunkie and lots of fun! I also worked in Illinois for a local dog walking/sitter company. I would walk my dogs for 20 I do walks in all kinds of weather. I had 2-4 dogs a week. Frankie a male dog and Ginger an older arthritic dog; they were my regulars. I would end every visit with petting and a treat. I really love my dogs and took very good care of them. Every visit ends with a text to the owner including a cute photo and information on whether the dog peed and pooped. I also volunteer at the Huron Velley Humane Society. My son has had all kinds of animals so if you have a bearded dragon or hamster I am familiar with many different pets. I love the flexibility. I enjoy getting outdoors and I love animals. This is a great combo for me. I’m recently stopped working this will a great way to fill my days. My dog gets a lot of love. I believe the best part of dogs is they are simple they just need attention and love. The last two dogs I had I gave lots of petting and hugs. Dogs also need stimulation whether it be playing fetch or using a Kong or some other activity an owner may have I like to incorporate that into my visit.
“Melissa was such a huge help - she responded to a last minute booking and walked and fed Lena for me while I was stuck at work. I greatly appreciated all of the pictures and would definitely book with her again!”

“Betsy was very reliable as well as roll with the punches. Our dog didn't eat her breakfast so Betsy allow her to eat before walking. Se sent us pictures while we are away. I would highly recommend.”

“Fatima is amazing!! She is prompt and caring, and always leaves me feeling at ease after walking my pet. She is attentive to my dog’s needs and communicates efficiently upon my request :)”

About: While I'm more used to cats, I do also love dogs. Have a dog with separation anxiety? I can keep them company for a while! I will be working part-time Monday-Friday from 2 pm to 6 pm during the school year (September-Early June). I will be available to watch your pets from 9:30 am-1:30 pm on those days (despite what options this site gave). If I am unable to watch a pet at any time, I will let you know ahead of time by at least a few days. I owned a cat, Higgins, who was a big lovebug and fairly food motivated. I was in charge of feeding him breakfast and dinner since we rescued him in 2015, along with scooping his litterbox. He also needed nightly medication for some stomach issues, so I have experience giving pills. I can feed your pet, clean up after them whether they have a set schedule or not, and provide medication if necessary.

I have watched multiple family and friends pets when they go on vacation and really enjoy the company of animals for a few days! I work with our therapy dog that we have at work, and have also volunteered at the humane society! I have somewhat of a hybrid schedule depending on the week, so depending on what your pet is use to we can try work around it. Based on the schedule you provide I will try my best to follow it as closely as possible. I don’t have any pets of my own right now, but grew up with animals and will treat yours like my own!! It's all what is best for you and your fur baby! Just let me know. I realize everyone has a different schedule and will do my best to accommodate!

“Susan did a fantastic job watching our GSP, Missy. Missy is a little anxious & nervous, and Susan knew just how to handle her. Susan provided frequent updates and pictures which assured us she was in good hands. In addition, Susan was graciously flexible with drop off and pickup times since we were working around our DTW flights. Thank you so much Susan! We will definitely consider you again for watching our Missy!”

“Wilco loved her stay! Loved the fact that there was an energetic boarder collie for her to play with. We received multiple photos and a video to help us know she was getting comfortable and was safe. Once we got her back she slept all the way to our next stop. If we're ever back in Ann Arbor with Wilco we know who to call :)”

“Andrew was great! He is quick to respond to questions and kept us updated on how our pup was doing. We had some travel glitches and Andrew was incredibly flexible to help. Our pup loved his yard and we will be sure to book again.”

“I can’t say enough about Kelsey and Kyle. Fantastic people, loved on my dog the whole time. Scout slept with their kids even❤️ we will absolutely be reaching out in the future”

“Wiley boarded for 5 days, had a great time. Being with other dogs was great. We’re very happy with his care and his stay. Definitely recommend and definitely will book again.”

“Tiffani took excellent care of our pup, Rosie! Her calm presence and friendly nature helped her to adjust quickly. My kids and I LOVED the video montages and updates we got while we were away. Very well done! Rosie was returned to us relaxed and happy. 10/10 would recommend you leave your pet with Tiffani and her family! 😊 We hope to leave Rosie with her for future trips out of town.”

“Amazing environment. My dog has lots of room to run around as well as another playful dog so he was always active. Kimberly sent lots of pictures and my dog looked happy in every one of them.”
