I make sure your cats get the entertainment they need whether its the magic laser, the elusive string, some cuddles, or spa time (brushing!). I always leave a fresh bowl of water and a clean litterbox before heading out the door. For indoor cats: I am a triple checker when it comes to opening doors. No escape artists get past me. More on my experience: I have and 11 year old black cat Scarecrow and 10 year old orange cat Mewtwo, both indoor cats. As they age I have learned a lot about administering medications when they don't want them and giving baths when they are feeling feisty. I have been pet sitting for friends and neighbors for years now and love learning about every cats individual quirks and how to respect their space if they are shy or engage with them if they are social.

I usually only take one dog at a time, however if you have 2 pets from the same household, I would take both. I would also take 2 dogs, each from different households, if both pet parents agree. I will give full attention to your pet during boarding, doggy day care, drop in visits, and walks. I will love and play with them and follow any specific instructions for pet care you have. About: I have a very dog and cat friendly place to call home. Most days I am outside working around the property and the dogs are out with us. I’ve raised our dogs from 8 weeks old and the Labs are obedience trained and have taken their Canine Good Citizen class to hopefully be Therapy dogs soon. Our Pug is the youngest and raised by the Labs and of course, me. In the evenings it’s relax in the chair time. The dogs love to snuggle up and just nap after playing outside. I make my own work schedule and am able to fit work around pets. Usually only leaving the dogs for an errand run here and there. I go outside with all dogs and walk them on the property. I feed 2 times a day plus a snack or whatever is necessary for any visiting pet along with fresh water at all times. All pets have free range of the house day and night unless otherwise requested. I have an outdoor kennel for nice days if they need to be outside for a little while.

About: I have owned two dogs as pets. One lived to be 17. My dogs I have owned were both spunkie and lots of fun! I also worked in Illinois for a local dog walking/sitter company. I would walk my dogs for 20 I do walks in all kinds of weather. I had 2-4 dogs a week. Frankie a male dog and Ginger an older arthritic dog; they were my regulars. I would end every visit with petting and a treat. I really love my dogs and took very good care of them. Every visit ends with a text to the owner including a cute photo and information on whether the dog peed and pooped. I also volunteer at the Huron Velley Humane Society. My son has had all kinds of animals so if you have a bearded dragon or hamster I am familiar with many different pets. I love the flexibility. I enjoy getting outdoors and I love animals. This is a great combo for me. I’m recently stopped working this will a great way to fill my days. My dog gets a lot of love. I believe the best part of dogs is they are simple they just need attention and love. The last two dogs I had I gave lots of petting and hugs. Dogs also need stimulation whether it be playing fetch or using a Kong or some other activity an owner may have I like to incorporate that into my visit.

Here I learned de-escalation with aggressive and unpredictable dogs. SERVICE ANIMALS - In college I helped a friend train a Labrador from 8 weeks old to be a Leader Dog for the Blind. I learned how to crate train, potty train, stop at crosswalks, and train a dogs to be in public spaces through the use positive reinforcement and slow immersion of new situations. - My first (and current) dog is a Shiba Inu, a breed notorious for their stubbornness. I trained him like a service animal (although he is not registered) and he regularly goes to public spaces like crowded festivals, dog friendly music venues, and dog friendly businesses and if often complimented for his calm behavior and ability to sit patiently. I am a full time pet sitter who can do visits morning to evening Monday to Sunday. I travel often and only decline clients when I have a trip planned. I will tailor frequency and duration to your pets needs. I am able to provide all of the following: walks, play time, grooming, nail trims, administering medications, special requests, some training.

I work remote, so I’m home and can let dogs out, walk them or house sit. I am available to take your dog to the vet. At my house, I do have a fenced in yard. I also have crates. I do prefer to watch dogs at the clients house because a dog is more comfortable in its own environment.
About: I just made the compassionate choice to set my dog free from his pain. I was a dad to a 7 1/2 year old Schnauzer mix who was just the best. I used to watch pups for teachers, coaches, and family members before I moved out and got my pup! I’ve watched dogs of all sizes and would love to get to spend time with your pup too. I work a hybrid schedule right now, so I’m usually available around lunch times or in a pinch to go make an appearance for your pup and make sure they’re taken care of. Depending on your needs I can usually be flexible with my time to make things work. My house has a fenced in yard, and I love going outside with dogs to play, throw the ball, or just hang out with them. Wherever I need to be for them, I’m there! They will be able to explore my house, be in furniture.
About: My whole life I have had dogs. When I was little a yellow lab, and now a very large charcoal lab, his name is Finn in my profile picture, he’s my best bud. Also added another furry friend to our mix, a red golden retriever, her name is Sadie. I also have four cats, one big orange tabby, a calico, and two black cats. My heart is full of love for animals and I would treat yours like my own. I dog sit for my grandparents as well, and friends as needed. I had the honor of helping train my grandmas dog and Finn as well. Simple things like learning to sit and stay but still important! I am currently home for the summer from college. I attend Ferris State and will return in the fall. So, I am just looking for a part time gig for the summer! Besides one vacation in June I am completely free for all potty breaks, walks, etc during the week. I have two dogs at home if a stay at my home is needed, I have leads available for use as well. We also have a fairly large crate used for our golden when she was a puppy, so your pet can be crated if necessary! My pups are very friendly and would love the extra company! I also have no problem staying at a clients home if that makes things easier! I have reliable transportation and have an SUV to take the pups to the park or anything like that! About: I am very well versed in dog care, dog body language, and dog introductions. We have 5.5 acres for dogs to run and I have three who are very wonderful playmates for my guests and fosters. I have a very flexible schedule for dog and cat care!
