Through this experience, I’ve cared for pets with different personalities, routines, and needs. I’m happy to provide plenty of walks, playtime, and individualized care to help make your pet’s time away from home as comfortable as possible. Whether your pet loves staying active or prefers extra patience and attention, I’ll make sure they feel safe, cared for, and well-loved while you’re away! I am currently on summer break so I’m availability is wide open! I am typically the most free on weekdays, mon-fri from 7am-7pm. Weekends will work too from 10am - 6pm. When caring for your pet(s) I will 100% go off what your routine is for them. With only additional love and patience to ensure you pet(s) are comfortable with me in their space/ daily routine.
About: I am a lifelong cat and dog owner/lover. I look forward to assisting in keeping your pet safe, sound , fed, exercised and loved while you are away. I work in an elementary school during the year. In the summer I can be available early morning through evenings with some exceptions June -August. About: Hello! I have been taking care of animals since I was very little and have over 10 years of experience. I currently have 2 large dogs of my own and have owned other dogs and small animals in the past. And while I haven’t owned them, I have taken care of cats and reptiles in the past as well. I previously worked at a dog daycare for 3 years, and I’m currently working at a veterinary hospital. In working at the daycare I have experience working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from Great Danes and Pitbulls to Chihuahuas and Dachshunds, and working at the vet has given me much more insight into animal care as well. I have experience with the following: senior pets, handicapped dogs, anxious pets, epileptic dogs, medications, and training puppies. I know how stressful it is to leave your pets so I pride myself in giving the same kind of care I would want my own fur babies to have. I currently work part time during the summer, so I will have plenty of time to help out with your pets! During the fall and winter I attend college and work. I will still be available during those times, my availability just may be slim. Note: I work 6-8 hour shifts on my work days so potty breaks on days I work would be would be at least that far apart plus travel time I pride myself in giving the same kind of care I would want my dogs to receive. At this time I am not offering boarding in my home, but I am more than willing to stay at your home (with potential overnight stays if needed). I find that dogs are less stressed when they stay at home rather than at a strangers house. That being said, I always make time for cuddles and other activities to try to keep your pets at ease so that going on a trip is just as relaxing for your pets as it is for you.

Your pet gets lots of T.L.C. in hopes that my home feels safe and comfortable like your home. I am a home-body. I don't like leaving the dogs alone so rarely do. I like to take the dogs on field trips, to nearby forest preserves or parks so they can enjoy new smells. I live alone on 1.2 acres so I have plenty of space for fetch, tag and wading pools. I have a fenced yard which is secure. Walks on leashes are common for a change of scenery and sniffs. Dogs are allowed on all furniture. My king size bed has plenty of space for any fur baby who would like to sleep with me. I only board one dog at a time (unless they are from the same family). About: I have a very dog and cat friendly place to call home. Most days I am outside working around the property and the dogs are out with us. I’ve raised our dogs from 8 weeks old and the Labs are obedience trained and have taken their Canine Good Citizen class to hopefully be Therapy dogs soon. Our Pug is the youngest and raised by the Labs and of course, me. In the evenings it’s relax in the chair time. The dogs love to snuggle up and just nap after playing outside. I make my own work schedule and am able to fit work around pets. Usually only leaving the dogs for an errand run here and there. I go outside with all dogs and walk them on the property. I feed 2 times a day plus a snack or whatever is necessary for any visiting pet along with fresh water at all times. All pets have free range of the house day and night unless otherwise requested. I have an outdoor kennel for nice days if they need to be outside for a little while.

About: My whole life I have had dogs. When I was little a yellow lab, and now a very large charcoal lab, his name is Finn in my profile picture, he’s my best bud. Also added another furry friend to our mix, a red golden retriever, her name is Sadie. I also have four cats, one big orange tabby, a calico, and two black cats. My heart is full of love for animals and I would treat yours like my own. I dog sit for my grandparents as well, and friends as needed. I had the honor of helping train my grandmas dog and Finn as well. Simple things like learning to sit and stay but still important! I am currently home for the summer from college. I attend Ferris State and will return in the fall. So, I am just looking for a part time gig for the summer! Besides one vacation in June I am completely free for all potty breaks, walks, etc during the week. I have two dogs at home if a stay at my home is needed, I have leads available for use as well. We also have a fairly large crate used for our golden when she was a puppy, so your pet can be crated if necessary! My pups are very friendly and would love the extra company! I also have no problem staying at a clients home if that makes things easier! I have reliable transportation and have an SUV to take the pups to the park or anything like that! I often take my dogs with me to the store when I can and sometimes stop for a pup cup.

I have recently moved to the Howell area and live in an apartment, however my complex is super dog friendly and my apartment has a big (unfenced) yard behind it (would have to keep your dogs leashed if they’re boarded here) with many trails! I’m looking forward to hearing from you and taking care of your furry friends 😊🐾 My schedule is very open for the summer, since I’m on summer break before I begin student teaching in late August. I’m available Monday-Friday, as well as some weekends! I frequently dog sit for my friends and family, with most of my experience being with dogs between a year-fourteen years old, and same goes for cats. When I enter someone’s home I make sure to never approach their pets and let them approach me (because I know it can be nerve-wracking for them to meet a new person at times). I usually let dogs out every hour or more if needed and enjoy going for walks with them or playing fetch or any other games to keep them entertained. I follow the instructions given by the parents of our fluffy friends very closely, feed times, medicine times, treat times, etc. If I need to I usually set reminders so I have a backup reminder if needed. Along with caring for their pets I also clean up after them, litter boxes, toys, their outside duties, and whatever the pet parent instructs. I currently just moved to the Howell area and have not gotten a pet of my own yet, however I can pet sit your pets at my apartment if they’re potty trained, or can take care of them at your house as well!

About: I have grown up surrounded by various animals and I love taking care of them. I want to make fur babies as happy as possible! I am currently working part time at a law firm while I go to law school and am looking for a way to hang with more furry friends! I have one small dog at home who is very friendly and playful. About: I am a semi-retired dependable, caring animal lover! I've watched numerous dogs and cats over the years as well as had a houseful of animals while my kids grew up, including dogs, cats, birds, fish and hamsters. I enjoy walking our own dogs and would love to walk and take care of your animals! I work part-time from home. I am available and would be happy to care for your pet during the day or early evenings 7 days per week. We have a semi-fenced yard. We are a non smoking household. About: I have owned two dogs as pets. One lived to be 17. My dogs I have owned were both spunkie and lots of fun! I also worked in Illinois for a local dog walking/sitter company. I would walk my dogs for 20 I do walks in all kinds of weather. I had 2-4 dogs a week. Frankie a male dog and Ginger an older arthritic dog; they were my regulars. I would end every visit with petting and a treat. I really love my dogs and took very good care of them. Every visit ends with a text to the owner including a cute photo and information on whether the dog peed and pooped. I also volunteer at the Huron Velley Humane Society. My son has had all kinds of animals so if you have a bearded dragon or hamster I am familiar with many different pets. I love the flexibility. I enjoy getting outdoors and I love animals. This is a great combo for me. I’m recently stopped working this will a great way to fill my days. My dog gets a lot of love. I believe the best part of dogs is they are simple they just need attention and love. The last two dogs I had I gave lots of petting and hugs. Dogs also need stimulation whether it be playing fetch or using a Kong or some other activity an owner may have I like to incorporate that into my visit.

“Linda was great! This was our first time using Rover and using Linda. We had a meet and greet beforehand which put me at ease leaving my pet with her. She is very friendly and was attentive to all the directions for Charlie. He had the roam of her home and didn’t have to be in a crate. She walked him as asked and sent pictures. When we were a little late picking up she was very accommodating and didn’t seem to mind. Charlie was relaxed and calm when we picked him up. Linda and her husband are both dog lovers and you can tell! I picked Linda also because there are no other dogs in the home. Thank you Linda! We will come again!”
