“I think that Maggie and Luddy had a great stay. It was so nice to have the photos of them enjoying their time with Julie and Joe. They seemed to be quite comfortable in their new surroundings by the time I picked them up the next day. In the past, Luddy had had a sitter at the house, but this was Maggie's (10-month-old puppy) first experience being away from home overnight. Since I presently do not have a fenced yard, it was great for them to have access to a yard for play without having to be leashed. Julie and Joe seem to truly enjoy having dogs visit with them, and they take good care of them and help them to feel at home. I am so grateful.”

About: I’ve been around animals since I was born. I’ve had a lot of experience with dogs, and I love to be around them. My favorite thing to do is to be with animals. I have my own Siberian Husky that I will need to drop in on occasionally I do have a dog of my own. But other then babysitting for family and doctors appointments I am pretty free other than that. I love all animals and love getting new experiences. I would feed the pets, let them out every few hours. Keep them company, play with them take them for walks, anything that would be needed.

About: I’ve been caring for all kinds of animals my whole life. My real passion is dogs and I’m focused on dog sitting/boarding/daycare, but I’m happy to take care of cats and drop in for other animals. I have owner trained (working with professional trainers) one at home service dog and am in the process of owner training a public access service dog. I use fear free training methods and animal management (no tools like e and prong collars). This means sometimes things take a little longer and look a little chaotic, but as long as all the animals are safe and as happy and healthy as possible, that’s what matters. I have two yellow labs (one bench, one field), a mixed breed rescue, and a cat. All my animals are very animal friendly. My big lab does take a noisy minute to adjust, but he’s a big sweetheart once he’s got the lay of the land. I have a yard with a living fence and a wooded property where the dogs can be walked if needed. I am home full time and just becoming an empty nester, so I have plenty of time and attention to devote to our furry friends. Most days it will just be me and the animals on our wooded property so there’s plenty of time and room for relaxation and play. I have a fairly large fenced yard and wooded surrounding property. My home is laid back and the animals are treated like family. They are welcome on furniture and have plenty of room to play and toys to play with. I just ask they be on tick and heartworm prevention as there are many bugs in the woods. I utilize positive reinforcement techniques in my home and do not use tools like e and prong collars. We use lots of treats to reward good behavior, so if there’s something your dog can’t have, please let me know. I have regular experience with basic grooming and administering meds. I have crates available if needed or preferred. I’ll do my best to care for them as you want. Our big lab, George does have some scary looking anxiety upon meeting (barking and growling). If you are boarding/daycare/meet and greet with us, George will be in a pen on leash, harness, and muzzle to start (either inside or outside weather dependent-prefer outside). As your dog explores, I will work with George to adapt to the new situation and eventually greet your dog appropriately. Once that happens, he’s good with appropriate play, boundary setting, etc…. It’s just the initial greeting that needs a little more management.

About: I have had pets my whole life and love to spend time and play with all animals. I have been dog and cat sitting for 8 years for coworkers and friends. I have a 5 year old Catahoula Hound mix that I adopted from the SPCA! When I house sit he does need to come with me. He has never had issues with other dogs or cats. I am a medical assistant during the week for Bronson and would love to spend time with animals on the weekends or after work playing or going for walks. I make a point to let the animal smell and come to me. It is their environment and they don't know me yet! Once they are comfortable I love to get on the ground and play.

About: I have had pets of many kinds almost my entire life and many friends have entrusted me with the care of their pets while away. My friend who ran a successful rescue trusts me with her medically complex rescues. I follow whatever instructions are there with special attention paid to any medications that need to be given or other special details. I'm a freelancer that spends too much time sitting while I work. I'm very excited to add more walks into my life and a bit more out of the house time taking care of your furry friends when you need! In your home I will do everything in my power to take good care of your four legged friend. Whether that means medicating them at the right times, chilling on the couch for a bit of snuggling, or playing fetch in the backyard (or living room) until the exciteable animal is a little more chill from getting energy out.
About: As of right now i have become available full time for Rover! I have a 9 year old dog and 3 year old of my own very playful and full of energy. There names are Scout and selene. I take animals out at least 3 times a day(if not more) so they will have plenty of time to go do their business and go on walks. I would love to care for your pets in home or for drop in visits. I am available for any type of visit so let me know what your looking for and I can see what I can do! I'll have plenty of time alloted for your pets. About: Currently I own 10 cats, 1 dog, and a pet rat business (Rem’s Rattery). I have experience with dog training, walking, engaging behaviors, socialization, puppy manners, and exercise. I have self trained my service dog and am mentored by Super Powers Canine Academy (SD recently washed from service due to leg pain). My husband will be in the home at the time of in-home services has hands on experience at shelters and vet care for various animals, but mainly cats and dogs. They seemed to be quite comfortable in their new surroundings by the time I picked them up the next day. In the past, Luddy had had a sitter at the house, but this was Maggie's (10-month-old puppy) first experience being away from home overnight. Since I presently do not have a fenced yard, it was great for them to have access to a yard for play without having to be leashed.
