“Diana did an amazing job with my dog, Fuji! I had pretty short notice for a nearly 1 week long vacation and she was able to accommodate me without issue. Fuji was immediately very comfortable with Diana, and she looked very very happy and was smiling in all the pictures and videos I was sent. Diana had great communication and was constantly updating me, so I never had any worries about how Fuji was doing while I was away. I felt very comfortable and confident with the care Fuji received, she came home happy and healthy! I will definitely be booking Diana again the next time that I need a sitter. Thank you so much!!!”

“Felix was amazing with our pup! It was his first time without us since we got him and we were pretty nervous with how things would go, but our dog Chuck ended up having a great time! Felix sent regular videos and pictures and would send more whenever requested. We never had to worry about Chuck and knew he was having fun! The meet and greet before hand also helped relieve some nerves seeing the house and getting to meet Felix beforehand. We will definitely use Felix again with any of our dog sitting needs in the future!”

“We had a fantastic experience with Jacob and his wife! Niko stayed with them while we were away, and we couldn’t be happier with the care he received. They sent regular updates and adorable pictures that gave us so much peace of mind. Niko really enjoyed being with their dogs too. Not only was Niko clearly happy and well cared for, but he also came back walking better on the leash—an unexpected and much-appreciated bonus! Right from the get go they were extremely responsive and had the answers to all my questions. And so friendly! We did a quick meet and greet at their home and I instantly knew I’d be trusting my guy with them. Just really wonderful people and they clearly love the animals they take care of. And they sure took care of mine! I got lots of pictures and updates over the weekend, and Ding looked so happy in all of them. He really hit it off with their dog Sonic! The weekend flew by and after an easy pickup (they really made everything so easy!) Ding and I were back home. He totally crashed out after a fun weekend with his new friends. Cant recommend Roman and Suzanne and family enough! I’ll definitely be reaching out to for another upcoming weekend trip :) Thanks so much!”

“Kate was absolutely wonderful! This was our first time leaving our cats for more than two days. They can be a little spicy when meeting new people, but they’ve liked Kate right from the start. About: I’ve had multiple cats my entire life. I got my first cat when I was quite young and I’ve been hooked ever since. I love all animals but cats hold an extra special place in my heart. I love playing with them and of course, snuggling with them. I understand their dietary needs quite well and their body language is very easy for me to read.

About: I previously worked in an animal shelter where I would take care of the sick cats that needed a little extra love and care, as well as indoor/outdoor cats that love to make their own adventure!

“Lillie was great! She showed up right on time, even though I messed up the time lol. She was communicative, left my home as she found it, and took great care of my cat.”

About: I've been caring for cats for more than 20 years, starting with my own when I was 13. Cats have always held a special place in my heart, and I genuinely love getting to know each one's unique personality, quirks, and routines. For nearly 10 years, friends, neighbors, and members of my community have trusted me to care for their cats while they're away. I have experience caring for cats with special needs, including seniors and those with ongoing health conditions. I'm comfortable following detailed care instructions, administering specialized care when needed, and making sure every cat feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for in their own home.
“Jasmine lovingly made sure our 3 adored feline family members had fresh food and daily loves (at least for the 2 willing to come out for pets). She arrived right on schedule and always communicated well with comments and photos. It was such a treat to see our favorite fuzzy faces thriving while we were away. Thanks so much, again!”

“Kelly did great with a drop in visit with my dogs. Asha is a senior lab with some health issues and Nala is very anxious but they both seemed happy and relaxed. Kelly sent pictures and updates and I would definitely hire her again.”

About: I’ve always had animals of my own, basically since I was old enough to walk. I started my own pet-sitting business when I was 13. I’m the go-to for friends and family when they need their babies cared for and I love every breed. I studied veterinary medicine for a number of years and have more recently begun to train dogs, as well. I work full-time but I make my own schedule. I also live just a few minutes away from my work and can pop back to my house when need be. I’m already taking care of our senior dog, our new puppy, and our two cats. I love being outside and taking the babies for walks. I have a fenced in yard as well as two other dogs and two other cats. I have a large crate as well as two portable enclosures and no shortage of extra bowls, blankets, toys, and towels. I live in a great neighborhood and there is a park a block away. It’s important to me that animals are well taken care of and I love spending extra time playing and snuggling with any babies I get to hang out with.
“Melissa was absolutely awesome taking care of our dog, Finn! She’s so friendly and Finn felt comfortable with her right away. I felt good leaving him in her hands. I definitely recommend her if you need some doggie daycare!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, currently have a rescue that is a Cur/Dalmatian mix. I fostered a German Shepherd and just found him his forever home! My previous pup was a pure bred red-nose pit! I work from home so am available for all needs! And yes, my dog does sleep on my bed! Lots of outdoor toys to tire them out! I have a fenced in yard and a “puppy pool” for those hot days! I live in a quiet neighborhood with an excellent dog walking route, even have a neighbor who put out dog treats in a mailbox for frequent walkers!

“Jacy was absolutely fantastic! Cinder had an amazing time with her. She sent frequent updates throughout the day along with lots of photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She was incredibly kind, accommodating, and easy to communicate with from start to finish. Her home and yard were the perfect place for pups to run, play, and have a great time. What really set her apart was how she went above and beyond. At the end of the day, she surprised us with a few printed photos of Cinder to take home, which was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture. It's clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she watches and the people who trust her with them. We could tell Cinder was happy, well cared for, and having an absolute blast. We wouldn't hesitate to book with Jacy again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional Rover sitter!”

About: I've had one or more dogs in my life since I was 6 years old. I currently have a senior red heeler that I rescued 8 years ago. Not only have I grown up taking care of my own dogs, as an adult I dog sit quite regularly for friends. I do work from home, which affords me the opportunity to take breaks to interact with and toilet my heeler and any other dog we have visiting, on their schedules. I work from home, so Monday thru Friday, I rarely leave my home, except to take the dog for walks. I may go away in the evenings, during the week, for a couple hours, but that's rare. I do tend to be more active on the weekends, doing my grocery shopping and running other errands, as well church on Sundays, and an occasional brunch. I do have a fenced in back yard as well as a senior red heeler (as stated earlier). My heeler doesn't really pay much attention to other dogs, and seems to prefer the company of humans. That being said, he gets along great with other dogs.
“Jenn did a wonderful job caring for our anxious dog Isaac! I appreciate that she did a meet and greet with us at a local dog park before Isaac's stay, it really help put our minds at ease. Isaac liked Jen immediately and seemed happy to arrive back on his second day of daycare. We plan to continue to use Jen in the future!”

“First time Rover users, so we did a walk with Lillie to get Odin acclimated before house sitting for a week next week. Lillie handled Odin’s confusion very well and took him around the subdivision and took notes for the upcoming stay.”

“Kate has been walking my dog for a few months now. She's been consistent, reliable, and done a great job. My dog shoes her and the walks they go on. I would definitely recommend her.”

“Lauren has been amazing to work with! She met with us before since my dog can be a little shy but he warmed up quickly to her. She was always on time and quick to respond. I’d recommend her to anyone in need of pet walking/sitting etc.”

About: I have cared for animals since I can remember- I grew up on a farm and my first ever job was at a pet store where we had extensive education about animal behavior and nutrition. I started fostering animals after college and while I don't do that full time anymore - cats and dogs always seems to find their way to our house when in need. I have done dog walking and house/ cat sitting on and off for friends and friends of friends for years and I always go out of my way to find more animals to cuddle. This gig seems like the best way to do that! I work 12 hour shifts only a couple days a week so I have many free days for pet care. I am home all the days I'm not working and can spend it with furry friends! I have a fenced in back yard and tons of walkable space near my house for plays and exercise for your baby. I am good at going with the flow of whatever the fur baby's energy is but I am also great at following a routine for your baby as well.

She is wonderful with dogs (and mine is strong and a bit wild). My dog LOVES her! I cannot recommend Claire enough! I wish this offered more than 5 stars!”

About: I've been caring for animals for more than 20 years, starting with my own cats when I was 13. Over the years, I've also pet sat for friends, neighbors, and members of my community, and for nearly 10 years they've trusted me to care for their pets while they're away. I have experience caring for pets with special needs, including senior animals and those with ongoing health concerns. I understand the importance of following routines, administering specialized care, and making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved in their own environment. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I have a very flexible schedule. I primarily support my wife's career, which gives me almost open availability throughout the week. The only times I'm typically unavailable are briefly around 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM when I'm giving her a ride to and from work. This flexibility allows me to accommodate a variety of schedules, whether your cat needs morning and evening visits, midday check-ins, or care over multiple days. I'm happy to work with your pet's routine to make sure they receive consistent, reliable care and plenty of attention while you're away. Because I have two cats of my own, I don't offer boarding in my home. Instead, I provide care in your pet's home, where they can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and maintain their normal routine. I'm available for drop-in visits and walks, and I'm happy to tailor my care to your pet's individual needs. Whether that means feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, taking dogs for walks, administering routine care, playing with energetic pets, or simply spending quiet time giving them attention and affection, I'm committed to making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. I also have experience caring for senior pets and animals with special needs, and I'm comfortable following detailed care instructions to ensure your pet receives the same level of care they're used to at home.
About: I’ve dog-walked and house-sat for friends and families for over ten years. I have experience walking two dogs at a time, taking them to dog parks too, and experience with young puppies still house training and aging dogs with mobility issues. My mom ran a kennel and dog-walking service while I was at home (1st grade-12th grade years of my life), so I am very comfortable with all breeds and temperaments, from German Shepherds, Pitbulls, and Weimaraners to Dachshunds, Terriers and Schnauzers, along with mixed-breeds and rescues. I also have experience with cats, being a cat-mom for the last five years, and I've rescued and rehomed several cats over the last ten years. Working locally in downtown Grand Rapids allows me to visit pets, including my own, several times a day. Walking and physical activity are habits for me, so taking dogs out and walking them, running them at parks or in yards, is easy to fit into my schedule. I don't work a standard 9-5 so my hours are flexible and I can make visits at my own convenience. Dogs: I work to respond to the needs of the pet and the preferences/requests of the owner. Depending on that, care is case-by-case, but several rules I abide by are always: greet the dog calmly and warmly, and take outside first before checking on food and water. This gives the pup a moment to get the wiggles or nervous pees out, and diverts attention to sniffing and other senses so their energy calms slightly. We go back in to make sure food, water, and other elements requested by the owner are attended to. For the walk, I always bring a bag with poop bags, treats, and an extra collar. When we go further, like to trails or a park, I also bring a container and water as well as a towel for mud/wipe-downs, which I always do before we head back into the home, to make sure the dog is clean and won’t track in mud. I always practice basic commands as well, like sit, wait/stay, and come/here when we are at home, to build trust and reinforce the commands before going out. I always make sure to leave the home as it was, and check elements that the owner asked me to (i.e. water, food, mail, lights). I always leave a note on how the visit went and take a photo too so they know the doggo is happy and healthy. Cats: I work to respond to the needs of the pet and the preferences/requests of the owner. Depending on that, care is case-by-case, but several rules I abide by are always: call for the cat and then head straight to checking food and water, talking and calling for the kitty as I go. If they greet me, we pet/play for at least a half an hour. If they don’t greet me, I’ll look for them in the usual spots and speak gently and make sounds of play for them until they come out. I will not leave until I have set eyes on the kitty. I make sure to ask the owner what the favorite toys and types of play are for the cat. I then take care of the litter box. I always make sure to leave the home as it was, and check elements that the owner asked me to (i.e. water, food, mail, lights). I always leave a note on how the visit went and take a photo too so they know their kitty is happy and healthy.

About: I've been passionate about caring for animals my entire life and come from a family of dedicated pet lovers. Over the past 9+ years, I've provided reliable pet care for friends, family, and neighbors, gaining experience with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I understand that every pet has unique needs, and I take the time to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. As the owner of a senior dog, I have firsthand experience caring for older pets and understand the patience, attention, and specialized care they often require. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with companionship, I'm committed to following their routine and providing individualized care. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I pride myself on being dependable, attentive, and communicative, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I would be honored to care for your pet and look forward to providing them with a safe, loving, and stress-free experience. I work for home 5 days a week with a flexible schedule! I’m available for walks/drop ins before work, on my lunch break or after! Rules that are set in your household/on walks for your pet are the rules that I will follow. Additionally, I’m a triple checker on everything I do for my pet and same goes for yours.

“Ryleigh and Aaron were so great with our dog Tucker. We needed care last minute and they were great about setting up a meet and greet quickly so we could make sure it was a good fit for our family and theirs. Tucker can be shy and anxious, and they were patient and sweet with him. They were good at communicating with us, and sent us a few pictures and updates so we knew he was doing well! We definitely recommend them to others looking for care for their fur babies!”

“Melvin was so kind and took great care of our sweet girl, Mabel. He took her over 4th of July weekend and she can be a little anxious with fireworks, and there were absoloutely no issues. He had a plan to keep the pup as comfortable as possible! You can really tell that he knows what he’s doing, and loves it too!”

“Gabrielle is very attentive with my dog make sure he is always comfortable and she also communicates with what’s going on with my dog makes me feel like it’s at home away from home”

“I had to leave town last weekend and decided to see what boarding my dog Ding with somebody from Rover might be like. I hit the jackpot when I decided to reach out to Roman and Suzanne.

“Kelly was outstanding and I’m so pleased with how she cared for my fur baby. I would recommend her to anyone, and she will be my first call whenever I need to be out of town.”

“My dog absolutely loved Abby! Lilly got plenty of snuggles and walks over the weekend and enjoyed the quiet time away from the baby! I loved all the care and updates we got over the weekend. We hope Abby will be available every time!”

“Molly was wonderful and took great care of my spunky toy aussie! My dog got along great with Molly’s dog, and my dog doesn’t always get along well with bigger dogs. Molly sent pictures and made me feel at ease while I was away. She also took my dog on plenty of walks, so my pup was tuckered out when she got home. Highly recommend Molly’s services!”

“Kina watched our 2 corgis, Zelos and Fae while we had a weekend away. She had awesome communication with daily check ins and pictures so we could see how our furkids were doing. Every picture showed 2 very happy and relaxed pups, which made us feel so much better. When I went to pick them up they seemed so content and comfortable, which is a surprise as Zelos has separation anxiety in his senior years. It also helped that Kina has owned corgis in the past so she understood their little quirks. We will absolutely use her again! Zelos and Fae give 2 paws up as well and can't wait to visit again!”

“Kijah was so friendly and communicative. Louie received excellent care and made so many friends! I had a scheduling blip and needed to extend the time last minute and Kijah was really flexible.”

“David was great! He treated my dog like he was family. I had absolute faith that my dog was right at home and all his needs were being met. I knew that I could leave my dog, with high needs and a big personality, in his care and he’d be in great hands. He sent updates & photos as well. Highly recommend!!”

“Dan and his gf were fantastic with our dog. Sent us pictures throughout the weekend. Both of our dogs got along very well. Will use him again and recommend for anyone looking for a dog sitter.”
