“SO so grateful to have found both Jacob and his wife through Rover - I think I suffer from far worse separation anxiety being away from my dog than she does being away from me (?) however, after meeting these two and their own four rescue dogs during a pre-boarding meet and greet, I had absolutely no worries that she would be in great hands. They were both SO kind, communicative, and welcoming. Their genuine compassion and love for dogs was immediately obvious, as was the fact that they both possess thorough knowledge of canine care and behavior. Wrigley even immediately recognized the house when I dropped her off and was so excited for her stay - that and the consistent updates/photos/communication gave me SUCH peace of mind and I will absolutely be reaching out for any future dog sitting needs. We did a quick meet and greet at their home and I instantly knew I’d be trusting my guy with them. Just really wonderful people and they clearly love the animals they take care of. And they sure took care of mine! I got lots of pictures and updates over the weekend, and Ding looked so happy in all of them. He really hit it off with their dog Sonic! The weekend flew by and after an easy pickup (they really made everything so easy!) Ding and I were back home. He totally crashed out after a fun weekend with his new friends. About: I’ve been around cats and dogs since childhood. My friends, family, and co-workers have trusted me to care for their fur babies! I have a senior pittie with reactive/aggressive behavior, so I do have experience and empathy towards that! I work full time Monday-Thursday 7:30am-5pm but can drop in after work or later in the evening as well. Friday-Sunday are my more flexible days! I fully respect the owner’s schedule for their pet and will follow whatever instructions are needed to ensure your pet is safe and cared for properly. I would ask the same for my own!

About: I used to operate a rescue and shelter outside of Atlanta. I have experience with all types of animals in all types of conditions. Familiar with special needs, dietary restrictions, after surgery care, blind animals and more. I have always been an animal lover and I currently have 3 dogs I would like to make pet care my full time job. I currently do some side work in the construction field but would really enjoy spending all my time with the pets if possible I have a fenced in yard and two fully separated areas of the house and garage that open into the yard that can accommodate any animals who aren’t comfortable around other pets. I let my dogs on the couches and beds and they have free reign of the house
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, currently have a rescue that is a Cur/Dalmatian mix. I fostered a German Shepherd and just found him his forever home! My previous pup was a pure bred red-nose pit! I work from home so am available for all needs! And yes, my dog does sleep on my bed! Lots of outdoor toys to tire them out! I have a fenced in yard and a “puppy pool” for those hot days! I live in a quiet neighborhood with an excellent dog walking route, even have a neighbor who put out dog treats in a mailbox for frequent walkers!
About: I've had one or more dogs in my life since I was 6 years old. I currently have a senior red heeler that I rescued 8 years ago. Not only have I grown up taking care of my own dogs, as an adult I dog sit quite regularly for friends. I do work from home, which affords me the opportunity to take breaks to interact with and toilet my heeler and any other dog we have visiting, on their schedules. I work from home, so Monday thru Friday, I rarely leave my home, except to take the dog for walks. I may go away in the evenings, during the week, for a couple hours, but that's rare. I do tend to be more active on the weekends, doing my grocery shopping and running other errands, as well church on Sundays, and an occasional brunch. I do have a fenced in back yard as well as a senior red heeler (as stated earlier). My heeler doesn't really pay much attention to other dogs, and seems to prefer the company of humans. That being said, he gets along great with other dogs.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats all my life within my own family as well as being trusted to watch over friends and family pets as well. This includes dogs of all sizes, medical needs, senior care, etc. I am able to be home to give your pet the attention and frequent potty breaks they may need and can provide frequent updates and photos while you’re away. I have a friendly dog at home that gets along great with others. I have a yard and would be able to take your dog out leashed and for walks as it is unfenced at this time. I can definitely crate your dog if needed, let them roam around if that’s what you’re comfortable with, provide medication as needed, etc.
About: I’ve always had animals of my own, basically since I was old enough to walk. I started my own pet-sitting business when I was 13. I’m the go-to for friends and family when they need their babies cared for and I love every breed. I studied veterinary medicine for a number of years and have more recently begun to train dogs, as well. I work full-time but I make my own schedule. I also live just a few minutes away from my work and can pop back to my house when need be. I’m already taking care of our senior dog, our new puppy, and our two cats. I love being outside and taking the babies for walks. I have a fenced in yard as well as two other dogs and two other cats. I have a large crate as well as two portable enclosures and no shortage of extra bowls, blankets, toys, and towels. I live in a great neighborhood and there is a park a block away. About: For the last 10 years, I’ve taken care of my rescue chiweenie through heart failure in all of her senior dog quirks. Since her passing i have so much love to pour into ur pets! I also have experience watching 2 dogs ( max and Thelma) for one month during a work exchange in Hawaii and a dog named goia for a month in Switzerland! Work looked like: 2 hour walk every morning, feeding, brushing, bathing. Etc. I am currently a server and a yoga teacher. My schedule is very flexible and I have a lot of free time in the mornings. About: I have owned two dogs and they were my responsibilities to take care of them. More recently I had a 16 year old dog that I would consider my “soul dog”. She taught me how to be prepared for every stage in a dogs life ~ from puppy, to psycho hyper dog, to well behaved, to maybe doesn’t do well with other dogs, to being needy and wanting extra love, or to her wanting her alone time. She also taught me towards the end of her life how on top of appointments I needed to be or how to trick her into taking her medicine (as that was a hassle) and to pay extra attention for signs of not feeling good. I will make sure your dog gets the love and attention it needs! I love to play with dogs and miss having a companion. If your dog likes to go to the dog park I’ll take them! I think it’s good for dogs to socialize with others, unless there are circumstances that prevent that from happening that’s understandable as well. Choose me to make sure your dog gets taken care of the right way! I currently work Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30 with the availability to go home on lunches. I will make sure to adjust my schedule to what your dog needs. I currently have a roommate with a dog and help her out when needed or take her dog to the dog park when I can tell she needs socialization. I always make time to go outside. I also have my Fear Free Certification and am a member of the IAABC, International Association of Animal Behavior Consultents Shelter Division. I am also a Horticulturist therefore my schedule in the Fall and Winter changes to provide more availability as I am laid off from my landscaping employment. I will provide trusted care to your pets in the comfort of your home in a environment they are custom too and more at ease.
