Blue has never been away from home and since he looks like a pitbull people are sometimes afraid of him. But Britnie was wonderful with blue as always. She would update me daily with his activities. She got him to go for walks and even gave him a bath. Blue was so spoiled by Britnie I don’t think he wanted to come home when I picked him up. I would definitely take by 4 legged babies back to her and also will be sending all my family to her also .”

She was very comfortable giving one of our cats her medications. While we were away she checked in daily to let us know how everyone was doing and sent pictures. She even went above and beyond by taking out the garbage from all of the empty wet food cans before we came home. Ive worked with all types of cats, from senior cats who are struggling to eat, to baby kittens who were found stray, underweight, flea ridden, and malnourished. Two were orphans my manager raised. And two found me, and just decided to stick around. One has a backwards GI tract and needs a little extra care. I would like to offer daycare and lodging for poodles and doodles. I am highly allergic to other breeds so I need to stick with the breed I love. My husband and I are retired and can offer much comfort and love to your babies when you travel or are at work. They will be spoiled rotten and adored while in my care. We are both retired and available quite often unless we are planning to travel. This is not a career for us. I am simply doing this because I love the breed and miss my dog's dearly but I'm just not ready to get another dog. I have a fenced in yard and can also walk dogs weather permitting. Pups will have the run of the house. We would never feed a pup anything that was not provided as both our dogs had gastro issues and we know how important it is to their health not to feed them off diet.

I’ve fostered multiple orphaned animals as young as 24 hours old. I’ve cared for wild animal orphans until they could get to a rehab. I’ve cared for snakes, lizards, chinchillas, hedgehogs, ferrets, etc. I’ve bottle fed, given injections, and even have given IV fluids to my pets at vet direction. So, animal experience is putting it lightly! I house sit for friends and family frequently, and am looking to expand my services. My oldest pup is a super senior sheltie who needs a little extra love to stay comfortable. I also have a Pyrenees mix with severe storm anxiety that requires medication, so I’m familiar with what that entails. All of my dogs get a kibble diet paired with different supplements based on their individual needs, so I have no problem feeding more complicated diets as instructed. My foxes are primarily raw, and I’ve taken classes on pet nutrition. I’m currently training my red lab pup to be a cardiac alert service prospect, and have gone through maple creek training for obedience and socialization work. I’m constantly studying new techniques and ways to work with animals to keep them healthy and well rounded! My schedule now requires dogs to be left alone for around 6-8 hours a day, as I have to be able to care for my struggling pup. I am able to still do overnights, and weekends! Simply cannot do 24/7 stays. I’m comfortable walking or supervising your dog in a fenced yard, to potty. I can give medications and supplements as directed, to help keep your pet comfortable. If it’s a breed that requires brushing and maintaining while you’re gone? I’m comfortable doing it to prevent matting. Having so many different breeds dogs and cats of my own, under my belt, and having worked with so many others? I’m pretty comfortable with all pets. I’m working on receiving pet CPR classes, as well!

I used to have two dogs of my own in addition to my three cats, one of which was a Shiba Inu - so I’m used to and can handle dogs that can be reactive or territorial. I prefer to sit at others’ homes but would be available to board throughout the week - I have a couple obligations Monday, Wednesday and Friday so just message me and we’ll see what we can work out. As I have three cats any boarding at my home would require the pet to be vetted and to verify they are cat friendly and non-aggressive. For in-home sitting I can provide a walk, feedings and general play and care including letting the dogs out to potty. At my own place I do not have a fully enclosed yard, but I can still take out dogs on-leash, and would provide all the same in-home care as I would sitting. I do have a gate for the kitchen if they needed to be kept separate from the cats. As I rent the dogs must be potty trained, though I understand pee accidents due to excitement and such can happen. In general I offer a safe and friendly environment for your pets regardless of whether I’m in your home or my own, as every animal deserves to be treated with love and care.
