“Joni is absolutely the BEST! I have a 6 year old Australian Cattle Dog that loves constant attention. I’ve tried traditional boarding in the past at a “pet retreat” but my dog does not typically get along well with other dogs even though I’ve socialized him with training classes, walks, and with other dogs visiting the house. I was worried about leaving my dog for a week since he can’t be with other dogs but Joni handled it with no issues! Joni offered a meet and greet for my dog to get acclimated with her home and a few treats to entice him back. Communication was frequent while I was out of town and Joni even provided pictures. Bottom line, you can’t find anyone better than Joni to care for your dog and I will be booking with Joni in the future!”

About: I have had dogs/cats since a child. Anyone who knows me will tell you I am a a sucker for animals lol. I treat all pets as if they were my own. I currently go to school 2 days out of the week but they are night classes Monday and Tue at 6pm to 10:30. So availability is pretty open. Your pet will get some good snuggles 😂🤗 anywhere I go your pet will go with me (assuming they’re able to travel) I go for walks just about every morning.
About: I have grown up with dogs around my whole life, from the puppy stage up to the old age. 3 years ago I got a dog of my own with that I fully got to learn how to care for. With that administrating medicine, long walks, puppy stage and training I have gotten to learn. I would fully treat your dog as my own and make sure they are the absolute most tail wagging version of them selves wether that be playing fetch, going on a long walk, dog park or even laying on the couch I am ready for whatever it is!! I am currently working Monday-Friday, the latest I work is 3pm I would always be able to take time off if needed if I have a week ahead notice! I offer whatever you would like, if you want your pup to have a long walk, a play time in the backyard, a trip to the dog park, or just a friend to hang out with!

About: The second I moved out of my parent’s house I chose to get a pet cat. For the past almost 4 years we have grown so close together. About: I use to work for my grandmother who would raise dogs, take care of them, and then give someone a dog. I would clean up after dogs in all ways. Take care of the puppies with the moms. I would bathe all the dogs and get them groomed up to go to their new home! I am available after 4:30 P.M. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. After 3:30 P.M. on Wednesdays. About: I finally talked my mom and Grandma into letting me have a cat when I was 15. I named her Simpson, and despite her lowly birth, she was a divine fluffy black and white princess. Her warm welcome included oral dewormer, a bath, a good brushing, a nail trim, and topical flea treatment. I have since gained experience trimming nails and applying flea medication/preventative to cats other than my own. I love engaging kitties in play, a relaxing brush session, or simply finding which unconventional places they prefer most to nap in. I will carefully measure food, or make sure a bowl is never empty. Scooping litter is a breeze, and I can scrub a box with the best of them. I am no stranger to cleaning hairballs and vomit, but if your cat is likely to make a mess I would like to know where the cleaning supplies are kept and what you'd like me to use. I respect their autonomy and will snuggle those who request it, and leave be the ones who prefer to be left alone. If your feline friend longs for the outdoors, please provide instructions on how to best ensure they stay inside- I WILL cry if your cat escapes on my watch.

About: I've been around and have helped care for dogs and cats all shapes and sizes. Each one I've personally owned are a part of the family! I would take care of your fur baby like I'd want mine taken care of. I am a homeschooling mom which means your fur baby will be kept company while in my care. During the school year, on Saturdays, we sometimes will have sporting events to go to, as well as some week nights we will go to extracurricular practices but never gone for long! I currently have Midland's rail trail right in my back yard for nice walks if that's something you would like done. When we move in March we will have a large open park right in our backyard! We have a sweet Goldador at home that loves playmates and also two cats that sleep the day away. My three kids (ages 8 - 13) have been shown from the beginning how to respect and love animals and they will be a wonderful addition to keeping your fur babies feeling loved and cared for!

Handling Aggressive or Special Needs Pets I have extensive experience with fearful, reactive, and aggressive pets, but clear and honest communication is essential: Cats: I am comfortable handling feral or aggressive cats and will take the necessary time to build trust. I can administer medication as needed, but I require full transparency about their behavior to ensure safety for all. Dogs: I can accommodate dogs with minor behavioral challenges, such as leash reactivity or mild anxiety. However, for safety reasons, I cannot accept: Dogs over 50 lbs who are not at least moderately leash-trained. Dogs requiring a muzzle or choke collar in public settings. Dogs with severe aggression or unpredictable behavior. Double-Booking Policy For the safety and well-being of all pets, I do not double-book boarding, daycare, or walks unless all parties have given consent and a meet-and-greet has taken place. If multiple dogs are staying in my home at the same time, a meet-and-greet is required. Even if the dogs get along, they will not be left alone together unless securely crated. Cats and dogs boarding in my home simultaneously will be kept in separate areas with no contact.

About: Hi, I'm Lexie. I am high-masking autistic, which for me means that I look and sound pretty "normal" but my brain is structured differently. My special interest is dogs! Mainly behavior but also history, breeds, care... Anything dog. I am a dog-trainer-in-training currently pursuing certifications that will help me teach dogs with behavioral issues that the world is ok! I am experienced with multi-dog homes that need "crate and rotate" care, "hands off" care, puppy care, and if you leave instructions I could do just about anything- I am not bothered by reptiles, amphibians, non-flying (pet or feeder) bugs, although I am nervous of birds. I'm very detail oriented. My background in home healthcare ensures that your home and pet(s) will be respected, and I am comfortable administering oral or topical medications. My availability is from 9am-5pm Monday-Thursday, Fridays from 8am-3pm. On Fridays, my 5 year old is home with me and will likely accompany me to drop-ins. She is dog savvy (for her age) and is respectful of dogs and cats, but since she is small I can only visit cats and well-mannered pups! I am a fan of cooperative techniques. I would rather spend 15 minutes strategizing how to entice "Fluffy" back in their crate than try to force them. For potty visits, I prefer to clip a long drag line to the dogs harness or collar- just in case they don't respond to a recall from me, or if there is any chance at all they might make a break for it! That way, we can still play and have fun, but with a safe guard in place. For walks, I will always want to specify if you are wanting a structured walk or a sniffari, or a combination. Structured walking is only available to dogs that already know how to walk on a loose leash. If you are interested in loose leash walking, that is something we can work on! For feeding or medications, I will need exact instructions! How much food, what you use to measure it (example: 1 full scoop with the blue cup on the counter, 8oz raw thawed in fridge, fill up the black kong, etc), and amount of supplements or extras. For oral meds, please specify if it needs to be "hidden" and what to hide it in (wet food, pb, etc.)
About: I had a chocolate lab. She passed away in July 2020. She was 16 years old. She was on medicine and had a couple surgeries so I am used to taking care of older dogs with meds, etc. I do have 5 cats and they are very spoiled. They are outdoor/indoor. They range in age from 9 yrs-2 yrs-old. I believe in daily exercise for animals, I even walk the cats! I am available very early mornings 6-7am and in the evening from 7pm on. I am also available on most weekends. I look forward to seeing your pet and helping you out! I have a full time second shift job. I will be available in the mornings before 3:00pm and most weekends all day long if needed. I am currently not boarding any pets due to my cats being very spoiled and particular about who they have around the house. I will give the best care to your pet in your house. I believe in exercise and a good diet for your pet and also the occasional treat.
About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 4 years old. I’ve taken care of many types of animals including, medically disabled, elderly, and infant. I’m currently working 2-4 days a week (part time hrs) at my job as well as going to college twice a week. I’m able to make stops before and after work as well and before and after classes. I can also stay in home if wanted. My main priorities are making animals feel comfortable and loved. I want them to know that I am a safe person to be around. For my animals at home I always make sure they are fed on time and played with to the fullest extent. About: Ever since being a young little girl, I have cared for dogs and they have a special place in my heart. I grew up with a yellow lab and took great care of her. As an adult I am the go-to pet sitter for my family and friends. I have watched small family farm taking care of goats, horses, dogs, and outdoor cats too. I follow the owners lead but I love playtime, indoor or outdoor, walks by leash and harness, and cuddles and loves. I only give treats if that is what the household wants. I wish to keep the routine as similar to what the animal is used to.

I have a friendly golden retriever named Stanley who absolutely thrives when he has other dogs to play with—so hosting furry friends is a joy for all of us! I work from home most days, which means your pup will get plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. My young kids also love having dogs around and are gentle, playful, and used to being around animals. I also have a cat in our home who is very comfortable around dogs—she and Stanley are great friends—so your pup should be cat-friendly or at least respectful of cats. I have a fully fenced-in yard for safe outdoor playtime, and I treat every dog that stays with us like part of the family. Whether your dog loves to play or just relax, I will make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and right at home. Since I’m just getting started on Rover, I’m excited to build relationships with both pets and their owners and provide a safe, trustworthy environment you can feel confident in. I currently work a hybrid schedule. I am home 2-3 days a week. We do have a fenced in yard and a doggy door. I have a fenced in yard and my animals are our family. They are welcome to lay where they are comfortable and shares the bed with me if needed.
