About: I am working on some pretty amazing updates. Additional outdoor yards are in the works, as well as a perimeter fence around the home property! I have also added Tracki to my collars. Tracki runs on global GPS (satellite feedback) and not cellular feedback, giving that extra security for your pups with no interruption in tracking! Discipline is and will always be reinforcement based. I have experience with reactive dogs and understand any dog can be reactive in the right setting, so meet and greets are a must! About: We have a good sized house which we share with our sweet rescue dog, Penelope, 2 kittens, Lilo and Stitch and our almost 2 year old daughter. I offer dog walking, sitting, overnight, part day hang outs and even training! We live near several parks that are dog friendly which we frequent regularly. I've always lived with dogs but began training the family and neighbor's dogs around the age of 10. I want to make note that I understand it is a big responsibility to care for someone else's fur child and that I take it very seriously. I am a full time Veterinary Nursing clinical student at Michigan State University! My schedule is a typical “8-5” job internship and have an 1 hr break during that time. I am very flexible and can provide care for your pets around my schedule. I’m free on the weekends as well. Since I am not able to keep your pets in my home due to space, I will treat your home with all respect. If you have places and boundaries that are set, they will be followed accordingly. If your pet or myself makes a mess, it will be cleaned up immediately! I have a pet cleaner machine and products to get pet stains out in a jiffy!
About: I have watched cats and dogs since I was a child for family, friends and neighbors. I enjoy watching their personalities when they are excited I am currently doing an online course and have plenty of time to play with your animal babies. I can spend time with your babies as needed I would come in a take them for walks feed and play with them if needed. Give them lots of of love and treats when needed
About: I have worked at the Humane Society of South Central Michigan for 8 months now and absolutely love working with the dogs and cats there. I have also pet sitted on occasion for a family friend that has 3 dogs and 3 cats. I also have been asked by a friend to check in on her dog and let her go potty outside and give her some loving. I also worked at Camp Wakonda in the nature center so I have experience working with not just dogs and cats, but other pets like hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, chinchillas, a snake, bearded dragon, and a hedgehog. I work part time at the Humane Society. My hrs vary depending on how my boss makes the schedule for each week. I usually work Sundays 8 to 3. Sometimes Mondays 8 to 3 if in the dog area, and 8 to noon if the cat area. Tuesday through Friday I work 8 to noon and sometimes a day or two of the week I have the afternoon shift noon to 5. I don't own any animals of my own right now, but I have cared for animals at work and for friends when they need a pet sitter. When I care for any animal I will not neglect them. I will play with them if they want attention. I will groom them if they need it. I will feed and water them if given instructions to do so. I will give them lots of loving.
About: I have grown up around working dogs helping my mom with care and training. I am comfortable with all dogs big and small, young and old. I have raised dogs from puppies to seniors and can administer medications, I even have experience with catheters if needed. I can assist with agility and obedience training for enrichment and set up activities to keep your pup stimulated. I have two years of experience volunteering at the Kalamazoo Nature Center in animal care so I can even provide care to snakes, salamanders, toads, turtles, raccoons, squirrels, and birds. I am currently attending KCC in Battle Creek and have classes from 1pm - 2:30pm Monday - Thursday. My weekends are typically free but I will of course communicate any schedule conflicts. I follow the owners routine and requests to a t to ensure their fur babies are as comfortable as possible while their parents are away.
