About: I’ve been caring for all kinds of animals my whole life. My real passion is dogs and I’m focused on dog sitting/boarding/daycare, but I’m happy to take care of cats and drop in for other animals. I have owner trained (working with professional trainers) one at home service dog and am in the process of owner training a public access service dog. I use fear free training methods and animal management (no tools like e and prong collars). This means sometimes things take a little longer and look a little chaotic, but as long as all the animals are safe and as happy and healthy as possible, that’s what matters. I have two yellow labs (one bench, one field), a mixed breed rescue, and a cat. All my animals are very animal friendly. My big lab does take a noisy minute to adjust, but he’s a big sweetheart once he’s got the lay of the land. I have a yard with a living fence and a wooded property where the dogs can be walked if needed. I am home full time and just becoming an empty nester, so I have plenty of time and attention to devote to our furry friends. Most days it will just be me and the animals on our wooded property so there’s plenty of time and room for relaxation and play. I have a fairly large fenced yard and wooded surrounding property. My home is laid back and the animals are treated like family. They are welcome on furniture and have plenty of room to play and toys to play with. I just ask they be on tick and heartworm prevention as there are many bugs in the woods. I utilize positive reinforcement techniques in my home and do not use tools like e and prong collars. We use lots of treats to reward good behavior, so if there’s something your dog can’t have, please let me know. I have regular experience with basic grooming and administering meds. I have crates available if needed or preferred. I’ll do my best to care for them as you want. Our big lab, George does have some scary looking anxiety upon meeting (barking and growling). If you are boarding/daycare/meet and greet with us, George will be in a pen on leash, harness, and muzzle to start (either inside or outside weather dependent-prefer outside). As your dog explores, I will work with George to adapt to the new situation and eventually greet your dog appropriately. Once that happens, he’s good with appropriate play, boundary setting, etc…. It’s just the initial greeting that needs a little more management.

Tracki runs on global GPS (satellite feedback) and not cellular feedback, giving that extra security for your pups with no interruption in tracking! I have sectioned off portions of my home and large basement for roam, and utilize sanitized in-home kennels for overnight and unattended times as well as movement of guests (inside, outside, walks, etc). I currently have full availability outside of school drop-off in the mornings and flexible pick-ups in the afternoon. I spend my free time caring for my own animals and attending online classes and seminars! I have a knack for social cues and when and how to approach. Discipline is and will always be reinforcement based. I have experience with reactive dogs and understand any dog can be reactive in the right setting, so meet and greets are a must! Our personal working dogs are not within the home's boundaries and remain with their flock at all times.

About: I have had cats and dogs my whole life, and they have enriched my life so much. I volunteered at animal shelters, working with dogs of all kinds, and socializing with the cats. I regularly walked dogs and was a dog/house sitter for over a year, then took a brief hiatus while I was working full time and am getting back into dog sitting now that I have a house of my own, and can offer boarding services! About: I have had pets my whole life and love to spend time and play with all animals. I have been dog and cat sitting for 8 years for coworkers and friends. I have a 5 year old Catahoula Hound mix that I adopted from the SPCA! When I house sit he does need to come with me. He has never had issues with other dogs or cats. About: We have a good sized house which we share with our sweet rescue dog, Penelope, 2 kittens, Lilo and Stitch and our almost 2 year old daughter.
