We are so happy to have found Pam (and her husband)! She offered the comforts of home as well as lots of activity for our Piper, from long walks to rides in the golf cart and boat. Plus, Pam sent daily updates and pictures so we could see how much fun Piper was having during our vacation. It was a vacation for Piper, too! I highly recommend Pam and I know Piper would like to come back the next time we're up north.

About: What sets me apart is the diversity and depth of my experience. I have cared for animals in AZA Accredited Zoos and Aquariums in addition to beloved pets. I am a Certified Canine Training and Behavior Specialist (CCTBS) with the Animal Behavior Institute, and my methods are backed by empirical scientific evidence. No matter what the service, I treat my responsibilities with the utmost care and attentiveness. I am also more than happy to accept reactive and fear-aggressive pups, for which much of my experience involves. :) Any pets under my care take priority in my schedule outside of my work as a part time driving instructor. The rest of the time I'm all theirs! I take pride in all of my work, and my level of pet care makes that very clear. I treat all animals with respect and kindness. My approach is positive reinforcement only - gentle, firm and backed by real science. With my experience caring for animals of all ability levels and temperaments, I am comfortable administering any medications. The same care, attentiveness, and professionalism applies to all of my work.

Roxanne has kept our dog twice now. He is so happy with her and she sends pictures and videos. She answers messages quickly. Our dog has some anxiety and feeding issues and Roxanne is awesome to help him with medicine and keeping him calm. He never wants to leave! She is wonderful and I’m so thankful to have found her (Clyde is too, lol!)

About: I’ve had my puppy for about 6 months now and would love to have doggy friends over for play dates. She could use some doggy interaction. She loves to play with other dogs. I work a few days out of the week a couple hours a day. I’m home the rest of the time. I won’t take in any dogs while I’m away. I can rearrange my work schedule so I don’t have to go in any certain day or time. I have a big yard that is not fenced in, but I can take your dog out on a leash if you provide one. I can take them for walks around my property. And if you allow it they can free roam the yard as well.

About: What Sets Me Apart- Pet care is my profession, not a casual hobby. Backed by over a decade of industry experience, independent professional liability insurance, and Advanced Pet First Aid/CPR training, I offer a level of safety and expertise that standard sitters cannot match. Professional Grooming & Boarding Background: With professional hands-on experience working in grooming salons and boarding facilities, you can have peace of mind that your pet is in good hands. I excel at reading subtle canine body language, handling all breeds and sizes safely, and monitoring your dog's physical and emotional health. First Responder Background: As a former paramedic and firefighter, I bring a high level of situational awareness, hazard recognition, and emergency readiness to my pet care. I have a college-level education in anatomy, physiology, and medication administration. Senior & Special Needs Care: Experienced in handling low mobility pets, arthritis management, complex medical schedules, and the predictable routines that aging pets require. Puppy & Young Pet Support: I provide the patient and consistent care needed to keep your housebreaking, crate training, and basic leash manners right on track. Whether boarding or on a walk, your pet receives premium, attentive care backed by real world emergency response and professional industry experience. Since providing pet related services is my full-time profession, my schedule is built around the dedicated care of my clients and their pets. I keep a detailed calendar, but I also understand that flexibility is a necessity. My clients' needs can shift rapidly, and my routine is designed to adapt to those situations efficiently. Strict Timing for Core Needs: Even with a changing daily route, specific feeding times, medication windows, and midday walks remain locked into my itinerary and are prioritized to happen on time. No Excessive Absences: Because my schedule brings me back and forth throughout the day, pets are never left alone for excessive intervals. Sitting and boarding guests are typically left for no more than 3 to 4 hours at a time. When you book with me, you get the best of both worlds: I am an organized and reliable professional who can pivot instantly to meet your changing needs. In My Home (Boarding) Location & Yard: Near downtown Ludington and Cartier Park. My home is located on a standard sized city lot and features a secure 4 foot fence. Controlled Environment: My home is a cozy and quiet, adult only bungalow (only myself and one other adult female live in the home). Indoor Air Quality: Strictly no smoking, candle burning, or oil diffusers are permitted inside the home. Health & Safety: All guest dogs must be fully vaccinated and current on flea/tick prevention. Advanced Yard Sanitation: Outdoor areas are sanitized using the professional-grade Wysiwash system to eliminate pathogens like Parvo, Giardia, and hookworm. Built In Companion: I have one friendly, 50lb neutered male dog living in the home. He is fully vaccinated, socialized, and non-aggressive. Home Comforts: Dogs are welcome on the furniture, but only if allowed by your specific house rules. In Your Home (Walking & Sitting) Safety & Security: I actively scan for household and environmental hazards while ensuring all entryways, doors, and gates are locked. Focused Walks: I provide structured, fully engaged walks to prevent hazardous encounters. I always wear a high-visibility safety vest, carry a specialized pet first aid kit, and ensure all waste is professionally recovered and disposed of. Health Inspections: Leveraging my grooming background, I regularly check paws, coat, and body language to catch any early signs of stress or discomfort. Property Respect: Your home is treated with respect and left exactly as you left it (if not better). In any setting, you receive clear communication and the peace of mind that comes with a fully insured, emergency trained professional.

About: I have a strong passion for caring for animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. What sets me apart from other sitters is the level of attention and patience I give to each pet. I take the time to understand their personalities, routines, and needs so they feel as relaxed as possible. I’m comfortable caring for puppies who are still learning routines and basic training, and I’m also gentle and attentive with senior pets who may need extra patience, slower walks, or medication reminders. I treat every pet like they are my own and always make sure they receive plenty of love, playtime, and care Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I enjoy staying active and spending time with animals. I make time throughout my day for walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and check-ins to make sure pets are happy and comfortable. I’m organized and good at following routines, so I can easily stick to each pet’s normal schedule for meals, potty breaks, exercise, and any special care they need. I enjoy being around animals, so caring for them is something I genuinely look forward to and make a priority in my weekly routine When caring for pets, I adapt to their needs and the environment—whether in my home or the client’s. In a client’s home, I follow their established routines for feeding, walks, playtime, and any medications, making sure their pets feel safe and comfortable in their familiar space. In my own home, I create a calm and loving environment with plenty of attention, exercise, and enrichment activities to keep pets happy and stimulated. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior, ensuring they feel loved, secure, and cared for at all times, while keeping their safety and well-being my top priority.

About: A house is not a home without pets! I’ve had dogs and cats since I can remember and consider every pet a part of the family. I’ve extensively cared for kittens and puppies, senior pets, and even disabled pets with special needs. I aim to care for your pet as if “mom and dad” never even left and strive for your pet to be at complete ease in my care. I work for myself, so I’m able to essentially customize my schedule weekly based off clients’ needs as well as accommodate any last minute changes fairly easily. I am willing and able to accommodate to whatever your pets’ individual needs may be. Whether that be harnessing, muzzling, running, walking, extra snuggles, or perhaps even a couple meet and greets to gain their trust, I’m ready to meet your pet exactly where and how they need.

About: I have two dogs named Fin and Petey. Fin is a medium sized Irish Setter and Petey is a small Rat Terrier and Pomeranian mix! Being a small to big dog ratio, they get along pretty well! I take Fin on walks on the beach frequently as he is very well behaved and trained by me! Petey is more of a home body, but loves to go on walks and runs down the road. I have had many animals throughout my childhood: multiple dogs, many birds, ducks, guinea hens, and chickens! I am experienced to care for your animals they way I have and do with mine! I work as a CNA currently so my weekly schedule is inconsistent during the week, but I am able to provide care throughout the week and weekend as needed and avaliable! I have a huge backyard for my dogs to run around and always take them on walks, so even dog sitting for a little bit of time is just as good! With this being said, brining them home, along with coming to your home, or going to public areas, works well with me!

I would love to care for your dogs like they are my own. I just recently retired and have no future plans to travel at this time. So I am very flexible and available to care for your fur babies. About: ’ve had hands-on experience caring for animals for many years. Since around age 12, I’ve regularly helped care for pets belonging to friends, family, and neighbors. During that time I’ve provided feeding, walking, bathing, pet sitting, playtime, and general daily care. I also have experience helping with basic training and working with dogs who were preparing for adoption, which helped me learn how to work with different personalities, energy levels, and comfort needs. Most recently, I’ve been volunteering at a local animal shelter for over 4 months. In this role, I assist with a variety of responsibilities including walking dogs, bathing, playtime and enrichment, administering medications when needed, transporting animals, and helping with overall animal care at the shelter. Working with animals in both home and shelter environments has given me experience with pets of different temperaments, and I always focus on making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always do my best to provide reliable, attentive care. If you’re looking for someone dependable who genuinely cares about animals, I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pet! I’m currently in an on call sort of situation, so my schedule is very flexible! I ask that we at least get a few days advance notice due to a fluctuating schedule. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs so I can provide care that feels familiar and stress-free for them. Through my experience caring for pets and volunteering at a local animal shelter, I’ve worked with animals of many different temperaments and understand the importance of patience, awareness, and safe handling. I always make sure pets are secure on walks, monitored during playtime, and given plenty of attention and care. I’m also happy to follow any specific instructions you have for feeding, medications, routines, or training. I believe communication is very important, so I’m glad to send updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away.

Kennedy was great about communicating and sending photos. Our dogs had a wonderful time and we would definitely leave Bowie and Pax with her again.
