About: Hey guys! I'm just a Midwest girl living in my Midwest world! I have the typical Veteran husband and one of our three kids still living at home! We have a 7 pound Chihuahua and two kittens who are the current rulers of the home. I bring a professional, hands-on background to every dog I care for, shaped by my experience supporting K9 work in the military and training dogs across a wide range of needs. From guiding young puppies through early obedience and socialization to reinforcing structure and confidence in adult dogs, I focus on calm, consistent, and respectful handling. My approach blends proven training principles with genuine affection—clear communication, routine, and trust, paired with plenty of attention and care. On our private 20-acre property, dogs have the space to decompress, explore safely, and enjoy a peaceful environment while still receiving individualized guidance and close supervision. While we do have 20 acres that we can walk through we also have a fenced in area and GPS Fence collars for your dog to use. Depending on the training your dog has been through we can work with you to see what fits best. I am a full time mom who homeschools her kid. My husband is home part time so most of the time we are home if not pup will be crated. I have a fenced in yard and a pet safe GPS collar for the pups. So no matter what the pup will be secured. There is no gate to leave the fenced in area so to leave you have to go through the house.
“Kendra was such a great sitter for our Watson! We dropped him off and picked him up at the pet salon in downtown East Jordan. In between, she texted us daily pictures and he seemed to make himself right at home with her family. We were able to travel without any anxiety about how he was doing. She was also nice about our late arrival time when our drive home took longer than expected. Thanks so much, Kendra!”

About: I had to put down my 10 year old lab this winter. I miss having dog, but thought this would be a great way to spoil your dog and have a dog in the house again. I'm not ready for another pet just yet. I will be in charge, as I work from home. Promise lots of walks, private beach if your dog enjoys that and lots of attention. No puppies (can discuss if housebroken) and can provide for senior dogs if needs are reasonable. Thank you! I primarily work from home so your dog will never be left alone for long. I am writer, so I sit at my desk quite a bit. However, those hikes in the woods or walks around the neighborhood are necessary. I would love to have your dog join me. I will treat your dog like a part of the family. I walk, feed and give plenty of attention. You tell me the rest. I miss having our own dog and would love to take care of yours. It's not a good time to get another dog, but I know how to love and care for yours. I work from home and will handle the care of your dog.

“Heather was amazing! I have a super hard time leaving my pup for any length of time, but Heather made it super easy. Sammy had a blast and learned a lot about self-control!!! She is a great sitter and trainer! He already misses her and her pups! Will for sure rebook in the future!!!!”

“Peter was very professional, sent us pictures and took care of our dog. When we picked her up, she was a very happy dog to come back in our arms. He must’ve done something right, HAHA.”

About: Not only have I grown up with pets my whole life, I have made a living out of taking care of them. It was my calling as a young child to become a Veterinarian. I started Pet Well Mobile Vet, the area's only mobile veterinary service, in 2021 to help bring a better level of quality to pet care after seeing how much more relaxed my friend's pets were when I took care of them in their homes. Building that bond through pet sitting is much the same thing. Pets get individualized care and you get peace of mind. As the mobile veterinarian, I can schedule my days as needed. I have the flexibility to do mid-day meals or walk, if needed. I'm almost always done working by 6pm to make sure everyone gets dinner on time and then some evening playtime. All pets will be cared for as if they are my own. I encourage pet parents to write up the normal routine for their baby so I can stick to it as much as possible. I love to send pictures and updates. (I would want them if the roles were reversed.) I also have the ability to care for medical issues that arise during the stay, only with the pet parent's permission of course.
About: I work at Little Traverse Bay Humane Society as an animal caregiver. I’ve been to exposed to all kinds of dogs and cats. I have experience with animal meds, animal behavior, and the care for them as well. I’ve handled all ages of animals from very young to old. I have also grown up with multiple pets including cats, dogs, reptiles, and rodents. I love all animals and I always make sure that I give the animal the best care possible. I’m currently working part-time at LTBHS. And I am going to school for Zoology! I would love as much experience with animals as I can get! I only work two days a week, so I have a very open schedule to work with! I have lots of experience in cleanliness of animals. As working at the shelter has given me hours upon hours of cleaning experience. I follow directions extremely well and take everything seriously. I understand these animals are your children and will always treat them like my own. I have experience in different temperaments and know how to safely handle them! I love a calm and loving environment with lots of mental and physical stimulation.

I can administer medications in all varieties and can comfortably handle shy and reactive dogs. I have leash walked dogs that have recently had acl repairs and can lift over 50 lbs if needed. I work 4 days at my current job from 8-5. I have three days off and can work with you as needed. I have my own car and can travel within reason. About: I have been around animals since a very young age. I grew up having to care for my dogs, cats, horses, cows, and sheep! I participated in 4-H for 10 years showing both cattle and sheep. Throughout high school and college I worked at a doggy day care, that cared for both cats and dogs, either for day visits or overnight stays. I was responsible for making sure the animals were as comfortable as possible. This involved cleaning their kennels daily, feeding, and medications. Later, I worked as a veterinary assistant for 6 months. I have house/dog and cat sat for various friends and family members throughout the years as well. I am very flexible! I am more than happy to stay at your home while pet sitting or simply come by to care for the pet a couple times a day. Open to working with you to figure out the best solution for your pet. Unfortunately my current lease does not allow pets. I am more than happy to work with you and figure out a schedule/plan that would fit your needs! While I am at a clients house I would stay in good communication with them. In the past, I have sent daily pet photos to the client and sending them updates whenever possible.
