I was a little nervous because this was the first time boarding Remi and it was going to be for a long period of time and I would be out of the country. Everything was perfect! Multiple pictures and sometimes videos every day showing Remi going on walks, playing with other dogs, swimming in a small pool, meeting new farm animals and hanging out with Reyna and her family inside when it was hot out. It was pretty apparent that Remi was on her own vacation while I was on mine! I will definitely return in the future for any sitting needs.”

About: I have experience crate and potty training puppies, litter box training, and can assist with basic obedience training. I am comfortable administering medication as directed, and can ensure adherence to veterinary recommendations (ie. wearing a cone, frequent walks/potty breaks, etc). I work limited part time (10 hrs/wk) and already have a solid routine with my own pets, so caring for yours would be easy to manage! I live in a two story home with a finished basement. Some areas in the home are gated off for safety. Our property is fully fenced in. Our home has young children, as well as our own friendly pets: a 5yo female Golden Retriever and two adult male cats. All our animals are fixed/spayed. We enjoy lots of playtime, walking, and running to help get the energy out.

About: I’ve almost always had a pet whether it was a cat, kitten, puppy, family dog, or fish. I enjoyed taking care of the neighborhoods pets growing up as well as house sitting for them. When I was bored I used to ask the neighbors if I could walk their dogs just to get outside! I love animals in all shapes and sizes. Currently I work full time from home. I have a pretty flexible schedule for when I can take a lunch break or leave the house for an extended amount of time. Come March I will be self employed and will have open availability! There is no fence around our home, ideally outside time will be on a leash or long lead rope for running. We can do long walks down the road, a quick car ride to the beach, or walk in the state land across the street from my home. “Carlie and her family took great care of my dog while I was gone. Brimley went to the park, took some walks, got to run and play ball and was fawned over by Carlie's little one. Brimley ate up allllll the attention!! I got plenty of pictures andy doggie was popped out when she got home. In fact, when I arrived to pick her up, I don't think Brimley was too keen on going home. I think she wanted to stay and play with the other doggies and their little girl. I let her in the truck and she jumped out the other side. Ha! Highly, highly recommend. I hope I can have them watch Brim again!”
About: I have experience crate and potty training puppies, litter box training, and can assist with basic obedience training. I am comfortable administering medication as directed, and can ensure adherence to veterinary recommendations (ie. wearing a cone, frequent walks/potty breaks, etc). I work limited part time (10 hrs/wk) and already have a solid routine with my own pets, so caring for yours would be easy to manage! I live in a two story home with a finished basement. Some areas in the home are gated off for safety. Our property is fully fenced in. Our home has young children, as well as our own friendly pets: a 5yo female Golden Retriever and two adult male cats. All our animals are fixed/spayed. We enjoy lots of playtime, walking, and running to help get the energy out.

About: I’ve always been the go to friend/aunt to pet sit. I love all animals and would rather spend my free time hanging out with a fuzzy friend. I would loveeeeeeee to walk your dog! I currently work from home and would love a buddy to hangout with! I live close to the bike trail and many parks and would enjoy a furry friend to take walks with! “Ashley was amazing this weekend with our Greenley girl! We were able to go camping and not worry about bit about her having the best care. Ashely sent pictures, and videos of Greenley happily laying on her couch, enjoying a walk or playing with her dog. She settled in and had a great weekend. We will definitely use Ashley in the future when we go out of town and Greenley cannot go with. We are so thankful to Rover for ease in finding Ashely- she will be our go to sitter!”
About: I love taking care of and playing with dogs as I have had 5 throughout my life! I am recommended by my friends to others. I am currently a student at GVSU and I work at Butterworth hospital in Grand Rapids on the weekends. I am available to dog/cat sit Monday-Thursdays. Right now I live in an on campus apartment at GVSU and live 2 minutes away from a huge dog park. During the summer, I will be at home with a fenced in backyard in a very safe environment. I have 4 dogs and 1 cat at home. When I move out, I will be living in an apartment that is pet friendly with a dog park!
