About: I had to put down my 10 year old lab this winter. I miss having dog, but thought this would be a great way to spoil your dog and have a dog in the house again. I'm not ready for another pet just yet. I will be in charge, as I work from home. Promise lots of walks, private beach if your dog enjoys that and lots of attention. No puppies (can discuss if housebroken) and can provide for senior dogs if needs are reasonable. Thank you! I primarily work from home so your dog will never be left alone for long. I am writer, so I sit at my desk quite a bit. However, those hikes in the woods or walks around the neighborhood are necessary. I would love to have your dog join me. I will treat your dog like a part of the family. I walk, feed and give plenty of attention. You tell me the rest. I miss having our own dog and would love to take care of yours. We have a 7 pound Chihuahua and two kittens who are the current rulers of the home. About: In college I worked as a professional pet sitter that was over 20 years ago. Since then I have pet sat off and on over the years in my home and in clients home. I have experience walking lots of dogs at one time. I have experience with horses and cows as well. I also have 5 years of professional pet grooming experience too. About: Not only have I grown up with pets my whole life, I have made a living out of taking care of them. It was my calling as a young child to become a Veterinarian. I started Pet Well Mobile Vet, the area's only mobile veterinary service, in 2021 to help bring a better level of quality to pet care after seeing how much more relaxed my friend's pets were when I took care of them in their homes. Building that bond through pet sitting is much the same thing. Pets get individualized care and you get peace of mind. As the mobile veterinarian, I can schedule my days as needed. I have the flexibility to do mid-day meals or walk, if needed. I'm almost always done working by 6pm to make sure everyone gets dinner on time and then some evening playtime. All pets will be cared for as if they are my own. I encourage pet parents to write up the normal routine for their baby so I can stick to it as much as possible. I love to send pictures and updates. (I would want them if the roles were reversed.) I also have the ability to care for medical issues that arise during the stay, only with the pet parent's permission of course.

Living in beautiful Northern Michigan, I can't think of a more beautiful area to dog walk! I'm available to take your dog for walks-let’s set up a schedule! About: I have been around animals since a very young age. I grew up having to care for my dogs, cats, horses, cows, and sheep! I participated in 4-H for 10 years showing both cattle and sheep. Throughout high school and college I worked at a doggy day care, that cared for both cats and dogs, either for day visits or overnight stays. I was responsible for making sure the animals were as comfortable as possible. This involved cleaning their kennels daily, feeding, and medications. Later, I worked as a veterinary assistant for 6 months. I have house/dog and cat sat for various friends and family members throughout the years as well. I am very flexible! I am more than happy to stay at your home while pet sitting or simply come by to care for the pet a couple times a day. Open to working with you to figure out the best solution for your pet. Unfortunately my current lease does not allow pets. I am more than happy to work with you and figure out a schedule/plan that would fit your needs! While I am at a clients house I would stay in good communication with them. In the past, I have sent daily pet photos to the client and sending them updates whenever possible.
