About: Ever since I was a child I've been taking care of both cats and dogs. I can take care of your friends in any condition! I also specialize in command training alongside discipline in puppies!! I currently work part time at Meijer in the grocery department. My schedule consists of working Friday-Monday or Thursdays-Monday. I work the morning shift for the store which is 4am-12pm. About: I’ve had cats my whole life, and started helping care for them as soon as I was about 12 years old. When my childhood kitty passed in May, I decided to start volunteering at the local animal shelter and I have a lot of experience with the shelter babies! About: I have had dogs my whole life and understand the importance of feeling comfortable when you have to leave them. I currently have 2 dogs that are 12 and 2.5 years old . I am available for drop- ins on the weekend and after 3:30 pm Monday-Friday. I would be able to stop by around 3:30 pm Monday -Friday. I have more availability on the weekends. About: I am working on some pretty amazing updates. Additional outdoor yards are in the works, as well as a perimeter fence around the home property! I have also added Tracki to my collars. Tracki runs on global GPS (satellite feedback) and not cellular feedback, giving that extra security for your pups with no interruption in tracking! Bark & Barn is a privately insured in-home kennel that provides overnight and day boarding options as well as drop-in visits/walks for all pets, exotic included. I also provide optional training for dogs. I have five years of experience as a veterinary assistant in a high volume multi-species setting. With this, I have gained the knowledge, training, and experience in animal behavior as well as proper technique in safe animal hold, administering all forms of medication, administering emergency fluids, and animal CPR. Your pups will have access to multiple sections of my home, a fenced play yard, and walks over 120 acres of farm fields and streamed woods! Discipline is and will always be reinforcement based. I have experience with reactive dogs and understand any dog can be reactive in the right setting, so meet and greets are a must! Our personal working dogs are not within the home's boundaries and remain with their flock at all times.
About: I've had different dogs in the house for my whole life. As a kid my family brought dogs in for foster care. We've taken care of multiple dogs with disabilities, including deaf dogs and partially blind dogs. Dogs get along with me well and I'm good at getting shy dogs to warm up to me. About: Most recent rescued our newest addition Nyla (grey pit) to our family from an abusive situation. She has been amazing with our other dog and both cats! September 2022 we rescued 4 new born kitten that was left outside in a box in the cold. I have taken care of animals since I was 7. I recently rescued a feral cat and helped domesticate her into the sweetest house cat that isn’t afraid of other animals or people!
