About: I am a Michigan transplant and an animal person with years of experience, including as petsitter, aquarist, veterinarian technician, field scientist, and farmer. About: We are a doggy dog house. Our girls are rescue dogs from age of one now into their senior years. Our home is perfect for the pups: Large fenced in backyard. One story home. Freedom to sleep wherever they want. This home environment is the best for your baby. I am home a lot. My schedule revolves around dog sitting. I may go to the gym or grocery store but for the most part there is no where I need to be. I have a large fenced in back yard. Lots of room to play. I have two dogs of my own Miley (boxer) and Remi (pug).

Watch them carefully for signs of anxiety. Talk and touch them to assure them they are ok, and I am their friend. Make them comfortable with something that reminds them of home. About: I have been taking care of dogs all my life. I grew up with two and currently have a Husky and Terrier. On the days I am in the office (Typically M-W) I will only be available for drop ins/walks after 2:30 pm and early mornings. I do ask that if you need me M-W that times are flexible, I cannot always do hard set times. When I am WFH, I am available all day. Friends and family over the years have relied on me to watch over their fur babies, stop in and check on them for a simple belly scratch and potty break, all the way to staying the night to give them piece of mind while they're gone. I currently work full time. M-W I am able to stop into clients homes after I get off work, after 3. Thursday and Friday I work from home so besides meetings, I am able to drop in at any time of the day. Saturdays and Sundays I am pretty flexible as well :) Each client is different but I will learn what is best for their pet when I meet them. I won't crate their pet unless asked. Going outside with pets when they're out doing their business, and keeping them on a leash to keep them safe is my standard for caring for anyones pet. The parents know best and I'd follow their rules.

About: I have experience with dogs of various breeds and ages ranging, who are most often from shelters or rescues. While I have 2 dogs of my own (shelter & foster), I have 5 years of experience fostering dogs who come directly from their rescue location who often need adjustment/bonding time, medical care & basic training (potty, crate, walking, etc.). The fosters I have cared for range from ages 3mo-8 years, and I am comfortable with senior care and rd ministering medication. I have experience with dogs who are more reactive. My work schedule allows me to be available during the week in the early morning or evening. During the weekends I am able to fill in afternoon slots for walks or a home visit! I have raised dogs with both fenced in and partially fenced in yards. Their off-leash time in the yard required supervision and thorough training to keep them engaged in staying in the yard. I walk my dogs on a leash and crate them when I leave the house.
About: Hello! My name is Ashley. I am a pediatric mental health case manager with a passion for helping my community. One of my first passions in life is animals! For many years, I have been sitting, walking, and taking care of neighborhood dogs. Now I am opening my doors to provide a fun, safe, and healthy environment for your pet! This will include long walks, fun games, and healthy meals. I believe providing love, care, and attention for your pet is what’s most important. I hope to be in contact with you soon! I work from home 3 to 4 days a week, with 1 to 2 days a week in the office for only a few hours at a time. We have two fur babies at home, a golden doodle and a chocolate lab/pointer, to keep your fur babies company! We do not have a fenced in yard, however my husband and I live an active lifestyle and typically go for multiple walks a day. We also have leashes and leads for backyard play/lounging!

It was clear that they genuinely care about the dogs they host and treat them like part of the family. One thing that especially touched us was how gentle and sweet Orla was with their 18-month-old son.
