We enjoy playing nerf dog, frisbie and fetch with the dogs during the day, and spending restful quiet time with them during the evenings. About: I am a Michigan transplant and an animal person with years of experience, including as petsitter, aquarist, veterinarian technician, field scientist, and farmer. I’ve worked with all creatures great and small, and am uniquely qualified to take care of your fish tank, farm animals, and exotic pets. About: I am experienced in taking care of dogs including those with high needs that require medications and puppies as young as 3 months. I have had wonderful experience with walking, boarding and overnight stays over weekends. I am very engaging when I care for dogs, always making sure they get plenty of play and exercise if they are physically able, and I enjoy incorporating some basic training as a part of that play. I am sensitive to different needs of each dog and I socially accommodate for each of their needs. I am a very patient and warm caretaker. I build my schedule around my responsibilities and planned pet care but I typically wake up around 7am and go to sleep around midnight. I am used to frequent outings for dogs because I raised mine from when he was very young and he needed to go out about every hour. I have learned to be very patient and read signs of discomfort and needs in order to keep all animals safe, happy, healthy, and comfortable. I have close access to a secluded dog park and beautiful green spaces in a very walkable neighborhood. If I am watching a dog in a new area, I always look for similar spaces where dogs can safely engage with their environment. Within the home, I like to combine toys and training to get the most out of my time there. I am very affectionate towards cats and will help them get their daily activity in. I know some cats are nervous and need their space, and I can always accommodate for their individual needs.

About: I have been taking care of dogs all my life. I grew up with two and currently have a Husky and Terrier. On the days I am in the office (Typically M-W) I will only be available for drop ins/walks after 2pm. I can do early mornings or after 2pm. When I am WFH, I am available all day. Friends and family over the years have relied on me to watch over their fur babies, stop in and check on them for a simple belly scratch and potty break, all the way to staying the night to give them piece of mind while they're gone. I currently work full time. M-W I am able to stop into clients homes after I get off work, after 3. Thursday and Friday I work from home so besides meetings, I am able to drop in at any time of the day. Saturdays and Sundays I am pretty flexible as well :) Each client is different but I will learn what is best for their pet when I meet them. I won't crate their pet unless asked. Going outside with pets when they're out doing their business, and keeping them on a leash to keep them safe is my standard for caring for anyones pet. The parents know best and I'd follow their rules.

About: I have cared for family and friends pets for 18 years. From puppies and their training needs to 13 year old dogs who just want to snuggle. While not a professional trainer, I have trained many dogs on how to walk nicely on a lead and various tricks to add some fun your pet's life. My own dog is off lead trained and will stay close on walks. I work on a positive reward system of high value treats and praise, providing minor corrections to pets such as a sound or turning away to ignore unwanted behavior forcing them to thinking for my attention. I work for the school district during the year so until school is out I'm available only on Fridays after 5:30pm, all of Saturday and Sundays until 4:30pm. This, of course, will change once school is out for the summer. As a house sitter, I will stay in your home with your pets for the amount of time you'll be gone so they will always have company. Care instructions will be followed to the letter. I have my own boy and I do what I would want others to do for him. As a walker, I will go as far as your particular pet can go. If that's around the block, great! If it's further, even better! As I said I have my own dog so if you'd like your pet to have a walking buddy let me know and we can set up a meet and greet before any official walks! About: My family always had a dog, and when I moved out on my own, the first thing I did was get my own! I now have a chihuahua/papillon rescue named Jorah Borkmont, who loves to play with others. I make my own hours out of the home, so I will only be out of my home for a few hours per day, and I can return when necessary (we have a dog camera set up). My husband works at home most days, so he will also be here to care for your dog. We live in a townhouse with an unfenced yard, but do have tie-outs and plush grass to relax and potty on. There are safe sidewalks and a new neighborhood in the building process for long walks twice per day.

About: Erica and I have always loved & had dogs in our homes ever since we were kids. They were family, & we look forward to treating yours like family too. We have a very flexible with my schedule. We enjoy playing nerf dog, frisbie and fetch with the dogs during the day, and spending restful quiet time with them during the evenings. We have a nice sized fenced in backyard for them to play in, as well as a nice indoor sunroom that I have turned into a doggy indoor play area.

“Another great experience with Rover.com Jenny and her family were just what I was hoping for. Jenny and her daughter showed their caring nature for dogs immediately. Jenny is super organized, her house and yard are well suited for dog care. Her own dog, a Boston Terrier, was a cutie and got along fine with my girls. Communication with Jenny was easy, she carried through with everything she and I discussed. She was prepared if there was an emergency, she followed my feeding instructions and sent me pictures throughout the stay. The pictures showed my dogs were very comfortable during their stay, playing, going on walks, and sleeping.”
