“When I came across Rover and what it was all about, I was positive that this would be a site I would never use. Allowing someone else to care for my dog in their home, was an uncomfortable concept to me. However, when I had a vacation scheduled, and my go-to dog boarding center was booked, Rover was the only option. Clara's name was mentioned to me by another Rover user who was not able to dog sit my exact dates needed. When I messaged Clara, she replied within 5 minutes saying "YES! I will take care of your dog." No questions asked. She lives about 30 minutes from where I am located in Kzoo, but trust me when I say she is worth the drive. Her house is immaculate, and she has other wonderful pups, a horse and great fenced in greenspace outside. We received pictures and a brief summary of our dog every day. About: I've cared for both healthy cats and cats with underlying conditions. For 10 years I had a cat that was diabetic that I had to administer insulin to. My current cat is 15 and requires a lot of love and attention.My cat Mabel is a rescued kitten/ cat almost 16 years ago on Halloween night while coming home from work , about 4 cars ahead of me something went flying out the window . I was able to stop and pull over due to not having other cars behind me . It was very cold that night and the sun was just starting to set . I got out of my car and looked around for a few minutes but didn't see anything and I got ready to leave I hear faint cry and I turned and looked down into some tall weeds and there she was , this poor malnourished kitten crying for help . To make a long story short I got her home and the day my wife and I took her to vet . They kept her for 3 days running ivs into her . We able to come and after 3 days thinking she wasn't going make it. And here she is still with after such a traumatic start to her life . I am very grateful to have Mabel as my best friend and wouldn't trade for the world . I love you very much Mabel .

I have been a dog owner for my entire life and grew up on a farm. Dog walking: I try to walk at least two miles with my doggo a day. I can include your best friend in the walk and walk them wherever I need to go. I have been a dog owner all of my life and love getting them out into the world. House sitting: I have house/dog sat for many people from 2 weeks to a weekend. I can also just check in on your doggo if needed. My dog loves to also come along if allowed to meet new friends.

About: I have had dogs all my life, most of which were rescued. I also took a class from victoria stillwell on her website designed to teach you how to understand your dog. I adore all dogs and love to learn their different personalities. I never back away from a challenging behavior because I know alot of dogs have experienced trauma just like alot of people. I work full and my schedule can change week to week but my boss try's to keep it consistent. I typically work 7-6 monday through Wednesday 8-4 on Friday's. Anytime this changes I will immediately contact you and work something else out if it conflicts with specific requested times (such as dog walking). I walk my husky each morning before work regardless of what time I go in so you can be sure I will MAKE the time if I have to. :) I will follow any and all rules/schedules you have for your dog. I will also assist with training if asked. If I am house sitting I will do my utmost to keep the house and its schedule the same as you do when you are home. I am happy to train, play, or just hang out with your doggy pal.

She updated me the whole time and sent tons of pics! About: I have had a couple years experience in pet sitting. I started with family and then ventured out to family friends and so forth. I am willing to take them on walks play outside or just hangout with them. I also have no problem with helping water plants too. Please let me know if your pet has allergies as I like to bring some of my own treats. I am currently enrolled in a summer CNA class which is every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evening for a couple of hours. But the rest of my days/time are totally free. :) I have a boxer of my own that likes to roam are fenced in yard. I take her on walks and I try to take her to the park once a week. She’s not much of a player but I definitely can take on more active pups. I also have two cats, a persian and a stray. My persian typically doesn’t like to be brushed but I have been able to keep him groomed.
About: I love caring for others animals, and look forward to helping your family. I have a 13-year-old black lab and used to have a 20-year-old cat that I have helped take care of since they were born! I am used to walking animals, giving them tons of attention, feeding them and I have experience giving medication to dogs and cats, as my dog had diabetes and my cat needed a shot every once in a while. I also have experience with smaller animals like bunnies, guinea pigs and hamsters if needed. Hope to talk to you soon if you are interested! I’m currently at home working part time so I’ll have a lot of availability. My schedule varies week by week but I usually know it a couple weeks in advance! I have no problem doing home visits or staying the night with your pets at your home if that is what you are looking for. I am available both week days and weekends, and try to update my availability as often as I can! Unfortunately, I can not provide home services at the moment due to having my own pets at home, but am very experienced staying with pets at their own home!

About: I have taken care of many different dogs and cats for family and friends. I always had pets growing up and I currently have 3 dogs of my own. I’m currently working part-time teaching dance to the youth between 4-9pm. This leaves my whole morning/afternoon open. I do have weekend business trips here and there but most weekends are available. I have a fenced in yard and three friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. I have a crate for any dogs that need it. As well as extra leashes and harnesses for walks.
About: I grew up on a farm and I was always finding animals to bring home amd take care of. I have lots of experience with kittens, puppies, goats, and cows. Pill and medication giver expert. CPR trained. I currently work 3 days a week and I'm home most other days. We typically spend our free time of walks or hikes in the area as there as plenty beautiful trails near by. My husband who also loves animals and has many years of experience, lets the dogs out during lunch time, on days that I work. I have a large fenced yard and a friendly dog to play and keep other pets company. We also have a large basement where we can separate the animals as needed. As well as kennels.
About: Hello, I'm a big animal lover. Life is always better with furry friends! I have pretty much always had a dog most of my life & always consider them family. I was lucky & got to be there when my former fur baby was born. Her mom let me massage her hips & tummy while in labor. It was her 1st litter & she was awesome!! She let me handle all 9 of the babies after she was done delivering so we could transfer all them to a clean bed & to help rotate at feeding time to ensure they all ate. All 9 survived & were healthy!! I was also a "doula" for my mom's cats pregnancy & she let me massage her tummy & handle her babies right away also. It's a blessing to see & be a part of. I used to have birds, cats, fish, been around reptiles & snakes, turtles, I worked at an eagle rapture center in Alaska which is where I'm from. Allowing someone else to care for my dog in their home, was an uncomfortable concept to me. However, when I had a vacation scheduled, and my go-to dog boarding center was booked, Rover was the only option.
