She's a senior dog, so she had some special requirements and medications, and they took care of everything. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a sitter.”

About: My first experience working with animals was at a doggy day care here in Ankeny, and my love for pets grew as I entered high school and worked at local veterinary clinics caring for all the dogs and cats being boarded! About: I’ve taken care of my neighbor’s cat every winter from December to March since he was young. I stay with him as long as I can every day — doing my homework with him in my lap, taking naps with him curled up by my feet, and eating dinner while watching him pace at my plate. “We were in Houghton to visit Isle Royale. The issue was we were traveling in our RV with our 3-year-old Labrador and we didn't want to leave him alone for such a long day. We were lucky enough to find Rylie and I really can't say enough good things about her. She came over three times throughout the day to let our dog out, walk him, and spent time with him. Each time she sent us several new pictures and communicated wonderfully throughout the day. She allowed us to enjoy the day and not have to stress over our dog being watched and taking care of. About: I have owned dogs my whole life and more recently cats. I have experience with multiple breeds of dogs, both rescue and bread dogs, and different types of harnesses. I have been dog sitting and walking for six years now for varying amounts of time. I am a college student so my schedule is dependent on my classes and my on-campus job, but I can make my schedule fit around any pet care! needs. I have two dogs of my own so I would be coming to the client's house to care for their pet. For specific rules and training, I would discuss a plan with the owners as to be consistent.

About: My dedication and proficiency in learning new skills has led to caring for various unique animals and gaining hands-on knowledge. I am willing to care for any animals you need, just reach out! I have experience with dogs, cats, rats, bunnies, guinea pigs, snakes, geckos, fish, house birds, chickens, turkeys, ducks, pigs, cows, and sheep of various ages. I also have cared for dogs/cats that are blind, deaf, seizure prone and require medication (oral/injectable). I'm proficient in first aid basics for dogs and cats as well. I'm self-motivated and reliable, taking care of my family's pets from a young age and gaining endless experience since including taking care of countless neighbor's animals while growing up and continuing to do so. In addition to pet sitting, I have volunteered at various rescues and have fostered multiple cats, including a litter of five 4 week old kittens. Since fall 2019, I have been working with mushing kennels ranging from 10-70 dogs; through hard work and consistency, I became entrusted to care for and train dogs at these kennels, participating in multiple mushing races. I have assisted numerous mushers with their dogs at events and have learned a lot from them, along with veterinarians that attend. I'm practiced in raising multiple litters and took in a runt puppy temporarily when he required extra attention and bottle feeding. These experiences also resulted in me befriending a service dog trainer, who has helped me learn how to apply different training techniques to both dogs and cats. Now I have a sled dog of my own who has been a joy and given me insight into training my own dog for various sports plus service dog public access and tasks. I currently work 4-5 days a week with around 8-10 hour shifts, but am able to leave mid-shift for a potty break and sometimes can do some work from home as well. I also live with my partner and sister who both have lots of similar experience with caring for animals and are happy to step in and help out as well. Many clients meet them and love that their pets get extra attention, often choosing to hire them for jobs when I'm unavailable. When caring for client's pets, my first priority is safety. I make sure my client and I have contact information for each other and any additional contacts for emergencies. I make note of their preferred veterinarian and any concerns they might have. I also prefer a meet and greet to get to know each other and the animal(s). Then I have the owner walk me through their care routine and ask questions. Once I know the tasks for the job, I see if there is anything else I can do to make my client feel more comfortable. This includes providing frequent updates with pictures, and anything else needed for them to know their pet(s) are in good hands. I take constructive criticism well and look forward to providing the best services I can!

About: My Family and I have had dogs in the family for years and I have always had a big role in taking care of them from baths to playtime and food. In 2020 we then started raising puppies. I have helped from the birthing to medication and playtime, overcoming new obstacles and fears, and potty training. I have dog sat a bit and have done well making sure they got exercise, food, and medication. I do not have much experience with watching cats but love playing with my Aunt's who breeds and raises kittens. I currently go to college classes but have a fairly flexible schedule. In the summer aside from a few trips I have nothing going on! I feed them twice a day unless specified, give baths once every other week and as needed. If they don't seem to be enjoying an activity changing it or making the situation better. Trust and respect are very important. The wishes of the owners or parents will be followed and hope to give your pet the best care while you are away

About: I rescued our first dog, Trigger, in 2012 with my husband. He came from an abusive and neglected household. He lived his best life with us, and I still miss him terribly. We then rescued our current dog, Zeus, in 2020. He is almost 5. I will make sure your pet gets all the attention and love they deserve! I work during the school year (8-3), but am off during the summer. I would be able to come after 3:00 if need be during the school year. I have a fenced in yard, and one dog that can be put in his room or basement if need be while watching another animal.

We live in the country with a large fenced in backyard where your pets can safely play and get plenty of exercise. My aim is to be a dependable and helpful resource for your family to make your travels a little less stressful. I am a Stay at home mom so my schedule is pretty flexible during the day for daycare. My husband also works from home so typically if I'm not home, he is! I generally am most free in the mornings and evenings for drop ins. I have a large fenced in backyard and a doggy door so your pet will be able to play as much as they desire. I also have a friendly golden retriever who loves company! I do have a 1 yr old daughter so all in home stays will need to be experienced and friendly with kids.
