“Haley did a great job watching our Lexi. She provided multiple pictures and videos daily and updated us on how well she was doing. Will definitely be booking again in the near future!”

“Sydney enjoyed another fantastic stay with Jason, Kristen and family! We know she will be spoiled and well taken care of while we are away. Their timely communication and frequent pictures are appreciated while we are away.”

“Crystal is the first rover sitter that kept both of my 7 month old puppies. I really appreciate the care that she showed towards my babies and would highly recommend and will request her again if she is available 🥰”

“Alice sent lots of pictures of our Baily, while we gone. We got a lot of pleasure seeing Baily playing with other dogs, getting lots of outdoor time, and even seeing her resting after a active day. Alice is great. I wouldn't take Baily anywhere else”

“Olivia did a great job watching Hawk over the holidays! She sent lots of pictures and gave him lots of attention. He’s a high energy dog, and she handled him perfectly. We could tell he had a great time with her. We recommend Olivia and plan to use her services again down the road!”

“My dog Cooper was very relaxed and at home with Cheryl. I felt at ease with Cooper in her care with his special dietary needs and separation anxiety. I really appreciated how she accommodated my change in schedule due to unexpected travel delays. Definitely will rebook for future dog boarding.”

“Rosemary always seems to have a great time and comes back happy. Chris is friendly and easy to work with - really happy to have a place we can count on to board Rose and know she's in great hands. Thank you!”

“Jordan’s communication was top notch!!! Jordan was very attentive to my concerns and was flexible with our pick up/drop off schedule. Most importantly, I felt like Willard was in good hands for the short time we were away. Jordan sent texts and pictures of Willard and kept us updated throughout the stay. Jordan is great!! Highly recommended sitter!”

“Melissa was a wonderful sitter, sending photos & updates during my absence. My pup was happy to see me, but she also loved her time with the resident pup! We definitely want to see Melissa & Chiquita again.”

“Sara and John Patrick took exceptional care of our senior girl. We received regular updates with photos of how she was doing and all of the love she was getting from the family. We are always hesitant to leave her with someone who isn't family, especially as she has gotten older, but we had no concerns after dropping her off. We will highly recommend them to friends and hope to rebook with them when the need arises.”

“Amazing environment. My dog has lots of room to run around as well as another playful dog so he was always active. Kimberly sent lots of pictures and my dog looked happy in every one of them.”

“My dog Duke’s visit with Ann was very good. She regularly sent pictures and updates, and took very good care of my fur baby. Ann said they had a nice time watching Duke. I will book with them again when the need arises. Thank you, Ann!”

“This was my first time using Rover and it was anxiety filled because my dog is a senior, 16 years old, and deaf and blind. He had also never been boarded. Brianna was lovely and made me feel comfortable leaving Jake with her and her family.”
“One issue - Stella was wayyyyyy too spoiled! We felt very comfortable with Michelle and she communicated well from the first meet and greet to the week long stay. You can tell she truly loves animals and we will use her again. Thanks for making her feel at home and we also appreciate the fact that there is only one client at a time.”

“Had a wonderful experience with Breanne! We had to book a sitter with only a few days notice and she was willing to help us out. She sent us pictures of our cat every day and even offered to clean the bowls and the couple spots of puke our cat left. Amazing! Will definitely book her again when we need it!”

“Jamie was excellent!! I have never used a pet sitting app before but Jamie made me feel so comfortable and I could tell from the meet and greet that my cat really liked her! She was so thorough with all of the check-ins and let me know how he was eating, drinking and using the litter box. She also took so many photos and videos and it was so nice seeing how my cat was doing while I was away. Thank you so much!!”

“We always feel so much more at ease being on vacation when Alex is checking on our cat babies. He sends photos and lets us know how they are doing. Our one cat can be fussy about where she eats and we know that Alex will move her plate so she can have her solo moment. We appreciate the care and attention he provides.”

“Meghan is so reliable and vigilant. My cat Tiki loves her, and she has excellent communication about how Tiki is doing while I’m away. I travel for work and am so grateful to have someone like Meghan that I can trust to look after my baby while I’m away.”

“Justin was great with Joey! He is definitely a food-motivated guy so anyone who feeds him and gives him attention and pets is OK in his book. On my end, I was kept up to date with each visit which was so appreciated! I now have some awesome photos of Joey being his silly self from when I was last away! I cannot emphasize more about Justin's great pet-sitting services!”

“Liz took exceptional care of my two kitties while I was away on a week-long vacation. She came over daily to give them both wet food, clean their litter boxes, and give my problem child cat his daily dose of miralax. 😀 I feel it’s important to note that my cats are not simple creatures. One of them eats too fast and needs his wet food served on a puzzle feeder. The other one eats too slow and will walk away from his food unless someone is holding his plate while he eats. Liz followed all directions (no matter how ridiculous the request) and more importantly, she didn’t make me feel silly for asking. Liz is reliable, so warm and friendly, and gentle with animals. I came home to happy, well cared for fur babies (who are probably wondering when they will see their new friend next) I will be rebooking and absolutely recommend her to others!”

“Lucy went above & beyond, per usual. So thankful to have found her to care for my cats while i’m out of town. She’s so good with them and takes the time to give them both adequate attention and play time. She always communicates and really puts my mind at ease while i’m away knowing my babies are in good hands.”

“Sheri was fantastic! She played with my ball-fetching cat and was patient with my skittish diva. She updated me on her twice daily visits. She gave me peace of mind while I was away from home. Great!!”

“Elizabeth was great! Very attentive and communicative throughout the stay. She came to spend some time and care for my cat just after we said goodbye to our other cat earlier that weekend. She was very empathetic and kind to our situation. I’ve had so many issues with finding quality care through rover, and it was such a relief to find someone who I can trust in. Will definitely be booking with her again in the future. Thanks, Elizabeth!”

“My partner and I are first time Rover users and I am so thankful to have had Megan drop in for our two cats for six days. Long story short, Megan is good at what she does and made our vacation worry-free knowing our kitties were under her attentive care. Our older cat recently had some medical difficulties and she was very knowledgeable about medication administration with our older cat and kept him calm, safe, and well medicated during our vacation. Our younger cat had some behavioral issues and she was communicative and very professional in dealing with negative cat behavior previously unknown to us. She took good care of our little stinker and was great at problem solving. PS: she took some excellent model shots of our cats and that was always a joy to see. 🥰 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

About: Hey everybody! My name is Alex and I am very grateful and eager to be apart of a business that helps dogs and their loving owners. I have come to learn that pet care is quite important in my ten plus years of experience with dogs. Years ago, I was a partner in an organization that rescued dogs from kill shelters and then found them safe and loving forever homes. SO I am no stranger to dogs and good quality care. If you have any questions for me in terms of my experience or services, please do not hesitate to call. Any age from little rambunctious pups to easy going older dogs, I am happy to oblige to making life easier for you and your dog!
“Ericia took great care of our cats! I appreciated her pictures and communication every day, which gave us peace of mind while we were gone. It was our second time working with her and we hope to have her back in the future.”

About: What sets me apart is my lifelong experience with both dogs and cats, along with my ability to adapt care to each pet’s unique needs. I grew up around animals and have hands-on experience with senior pet care, including administering medications and supporting pets with mobility issues. I’m patient, attentive, and comfortable adjusting routines to keep older pets safe and comfortable. I also work well with younger, more energetic dogs. I enjoy playtime and exercise, and I have a fenced-in backyard that’s great for games like fetch, as well as a walkable neighborhood for regular walks and enrichment. My home environment is another advantage—I offer a calm, quiet space that’s especially well-suited for pets who need lower stimulation or a more relaxed setting. While I do have three cats, I’m experienced in managing introductions and can easily separate spaces when needed. I’m happy to work with dogs who are cat-friendly or those who simply need a thoughtful, structured environment to feel at ease. Overall, I aim to provide a safe, flexible, and comfortable experience tailored to each pet’s personality and needs. Pet care is already a regular part of my daily routine, and because I work from home, I’m able to be present and attentive throughout the day. I’m used to planning my schedule around feeding times, walks, play, and check-ins, so adding additional pets fits in seamlessly. I build in time for both structured care—like walks, meals, and medications—and more flexible time for attention, enrichment, and companionship. Because I value a calm, consistent environment, I’m intentional about maintaining routines that help pets feel secure and comfortable. Whether it’s daily walks, backyard play, or quiet downtime, I make sure each pet gets the care and attention they need. When boarding dogs in my home, I treat each pet like a member of my family, providing a safe, comfortable, and structured environment. I maintain regular feeding schedules, offer plenty of exercise and playtime in my fenced backyard, and take dogs on walks around my walkable neighborhood. I also provide attention and companionship throughout the day to keep pets happy and engaged. For dogs with special needs, I can administer medications, accommodate mobility issues, and create a calm, low-stimulation space if needed. My home is set up so pets can interact safely with my three cats or have separate areas if they prefer. Overall, I focus on creating a routine and environment that helps every dog feel secure, comfortable, and loved while their family is away.
“Abby was amazing with my cat! She kept me updated with how my cat was doing all throughout. She was also very quick to respond to any of my messages. Would definitely get her to look after my pet again.”

“We took our two dogs to Alice for a day trip - we were headed to Lake Michigan, and wanted to be sure the dogs were well cared-for. Alice was very cordial and her instructions clear. About: I'm an animal lover looking to spend more time away from the keyboard and would love to spend time taking care of your furry family member! I have 3 cats at home and lost my soul pup in the fall of 2025 💔. I've been on Rover for several years now, I grew up with cats and a dog, and have always been a huge animal lover. I've volunteered at the cat café in East Lansing keeping the cat room clean, performing wellness checks, and giving extra love to the kitties there. I've also volunteered at humane societies in my hometown and near my college by dog walking, socializing cats, and maintaining facilities as necessary. Reach out to me if you have any questions or if you'd like to see if we'd be a good fit! I'm not currently working full time (which will hopefully change soon) so I have a lot of flexibility when it comes to meet & greets, drop-ins, and dog walking. I have a large fenced in yard with some wild critters about (bunnies andgroundhogs mostly). I would spend time taking walks, playing, and training along with all the essentials.

I’m available for dog walking, drop ins and play time. I’m reliable and will create a stress free situation while you are away! I’m currently not working and have a flexible schedule. I’m available between 7:00am and 9:00pm. Available 7 days a week for dog walking and drop ins. I understand how important it is to feel confident in the care your pet receives. I have experience handling senior dogs and administering medication. I follow instructions and am detailed.
About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember! I've owned and cared for a variety of pets over the years and have experience with animals of different ages, personalities, and care needs. One of the most rewarding parts of my pet-care journey has been fostering. I'm currently a pet care specialist and foster with Capital Area Humane Society (CAHS) and have also fostered for other shelters in the past. Through fostering, I've cared for pets who were shy, energetic, recovering from medical procedures, learning social skills, or simply looking for a safe place to land before finding their forever homes. I also have two dogs who don't currently live with me, but I absolutely love spending time with them whenever I can. Whether it's long walks, outdoor adventures, or hiking local trails, I'm happiest when I have a furry companion by my side. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, loved, and cared for while their owners are away. I work shorter shifts at Capital Area Humane Society, so my schedule allows me the flexibility to provide reliable and attentive care for pets throughout the week. I make it a priority to plan my day around the pets I'm caring for so they receive the attention, exercise, potty breaks, meals, and companionship they need. Whether your pet thrives on a structured routine or is more laid-back, I'm happy to work with their individual schedule and needs. Communication is important to me, so you can also expect regular updates, photos, and check-ins while you're away. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, and I take that responsibility seriously. My approach is centered on safety, patience, and positive interactions. As a foster caregiver, I've worked with animals from many different backgrounds, which has taught me how to read body language, respect boundaries, and help pets feel comfortable in new situations. I carefully follow all owner instructions regarding feeding, medications, exercise, routines, and household rules. I believe every pet deserves individualized care and attention. My goal is to provide a safe, stress-free experience where both pets and owners feel confident and comfortable. You can count on me to treat your pets with the same love and care I would give my own.
About: I have been pet sitting since I was in college, providing care mostly to dogs and cats, including dog walks, playtime, administering medicine and medical care (including daily shots) to both dogs and cats. Friends and acquaintances have relied on me to care for their pets for up to six months at a time. I work from home and have a fairly open schedule so I’m available to stay in your home or visit your home and pets during the day and can keep them company during the workday as well as on the weekends. I care for pets as though they are my own and have had experience caring for pets on very strict schedules. I honor your wishes in how you want and need for your pet to be loved while you’re away.

“Nikki has been great with my young dog. She has walked/dropped in to check on him during two separate occasions when he was healing from surgery or other procedures from the vet. She is great about sending updates for when she is on the way to my house and on my dog’s mood that day. She is very good at reading him and judging whether he wanted to walk that day or just hang out in the backyard. I recommend Nikki for drop in visits or dog walks.”

I have experience with dogs of all ages, training levels, abilities, and dietary needs. I’m comfortable caring for high-energy puppies, senior dogs who need a gentler pace, and everything in between. Growing up in Cuba, I was known for bringing home every stray I found; today, that passion has evolved into a deep understanding of canine behavior and dedicated care. My "Secret Sauce" for Pet Care: • Constant Companionship: Since I work remotely, your pet won't just be "checked on"—they will have a coworker! I am home nearly all day to provide potty breaks, belly rubs, and supervision. • Body Language Expert: With years of experience owning dogs and cats, I am highly sensitive to their non-verbal cues. I can tell the difference between a "let's play" bark and "I’m feeling anxious" pacing, ensuring your pet feels safe and understood. • Communication is Key: I know how hard it is to be away from your best friend. You can expect frequent photo updates and messages throughout the day so you never have to wonder how they’re doing. • Active Lifestyle: Daily walks aren't a chore for me—they’re a highlight. I ensure every dog gets the physical exercise and mental stimulation they need to stay happy. Safety First: The Meet & Greet I believe the best sits start with a solid foundation of trust. I require a Meet & Greet with all new clients before a booking is finalized. This allows us to ensure the chemistry is right for everyone. If for any reason it doesn’t feel like a perfect match, I offer a full refund. Your pet’s comfort is my absolute priority! Because I work from home full-time, my schedule is built around the needs of the pets in my care. I don’t just pop in; I provide a consistent, calm environment where your pet is treated like a member of the family. • Morning: We start with a brisk walk and breakfast to get the energy out before I "clock in." • Workday: While I’m at my desk, pets usually nap by my feet or join me for brief play breaks and backyard potty visits between my meetings. • Afternoon: A mid-day walk or enrichment session to keep their minds sharp and bodies active. • Evening: After work, I may go to a yoga class which is usually about two hours total. Afterwards, it’s all about relaxation—more walks, dinner, and plenty of couch cuddles. In Your Home: • Respectful Presence: I treat your home with the utmost respect, keeping things tidy and secure. • Minimal Disruption: I focus on keeping your pet in their "safe zone." We’ll go on their favorite neighborhood routes and play with their familiar toys. • Safety First: I am extremely diligent about double-checking locks, alarms, and ensuring no "off-limits" items are within reach of your pet.

“Jacqueline was very communicative before and during my dog's stay. I had a last minute request, but she was able to accommodate us and sent cute pictures of my dog. My dog has a great time playing and snuggling!”

“Susan made me feel very comfortable leaving Cora with her. You can tell she is a true animal lover! She sent updates and pictures and Cora was well looked after. We’ll use her again!”

“Haley did a great job watching our Lexi. She provided multiple pictures and videos daily and updated us on how well she was doing. Will definitely be booking again in the near future!”

“First time using the app and Koda being away from home. Im pleased with his stay Brookyln was propmt with responses and was also to keep him an extra day so the kids could enjoy an extra day of springbreak. Def recommend. 😀🐾”

“Boji had yet another great time. He's super happy and ready to sleep the night away! Definitely book with him! They are the best out there and the most flexible!!”

“McKenna cared for Charlie as if he were her own. He had a wonderful time playing with Togo and Grizzly, and she kept us updated several times a day. The huge backyard gave Charlie plenty of space to play, and he slept like a baby when we brought him home. We would be happy to use her services again!”

“Excellent! This was the first time we left Max without a family member. Brooke and her husband took very good care of him and he was very happy. We will definitely use Brooke again!!!!”

“Ellen provided my dog with play, walk and exercise opportunities and sent me frequent picture updates. She seemed to geuinely enjoy having her and took good care of her. At one point my dog (who has a very thick coat) got into some burrs and Ellen did have to cut her hair to get them off, so she came back with a few shorter patches, but I've had to do that a couple times before too so I think it was probably necessary. The only real issue was that Ellen forgot to include a toy of my dog's in the stuff she returned, but when I realized a few days later she found it under the furniture and returned it to me promptly, so it wasn't a big deal. I think it was a happy and healthy stya for my dog. She was also more reasonably priced than other people in the area.”
