About: I have cared for dogs since our first Siberian Husky joined the family in the 1960's! Family, friends and now new friends have entrusted me to take care of their fury family members when they leave town. From puppies to seniors they are all treated as if they were my own! I will consider accepting two dogs from the same family/household, but will generally only care for one dog at a time. This is so that no dog needs to not only adjust to being away from their own home, but also have to navigate relating to another, unfamiliar animal. I have no pets in my own home at this time either. Breeds I have cared for over the years include Labrador Retrievers, Samoyeds, Pugs, Huskies, Goldendoodles, Labradoodles, Miniature Schnauzers, Weimaraner's, German Shepards, Golden Retrievers, Pit Bulls, French Bulldogs, English Setters, Australian Shepards, Cocker Spaniels, Cockapoos and countless mixed breeds! I work from my home and so I am able to devote myself to any dog in my care. I take frequent work breaks and consider my care of the dogs entrusted to me as a part of my at-home work/life routine! I only care for pets in my own home. I have a nice fenced in backyard with privacy fencing on two sides and chain link on the other two sides, and the dogs seem to like the space. I do not leave dogs in the backyard on their own. I am with them if they are outside. I like to walk the dogs around my neighborhood and through the nearby park up to three times per day depending upon their energy level/physical abilities or limitations and their established routine. Any dogs that are more couch potatoes are certainly never forced to take walks. I honor where they are in terms of their breed, age and physicality! I have cared for elder dogs who have needed regular, timely medications and close observation as well as wild little puppies and everything in between! My home is kept very clean and neat to prevent my fury guests from getting into anything they should not and between visits I wash all dog bedding, towels, blankets and rugs.

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover currently living with my two dogs, Chip and Theo. I have experience caring for dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments through house visits and dog walking, so your pet is in good hands. I always send updates and make it a priority to make sure every pet feels as comfortable as my own. I work in tech so I'm home frequently, meaning your pet won't be left alone for long. I live in a house with a good sized backyard, perfect for dogs to roam, play, and get fresh air When hosting pets in my home, I make sure they have plenty of space and feel comfortable. I live in a house with a closed off backyard, so there is always a safe space to play and get fresh air, plus open space nearby in a quiet, safe neighborhood for walks. They are never cooped up and I am home frequently so they get consistent attention throughout the day. When doing house visits or drop ins, I stick to the pet's routine as much as possible. I handle feeding, walks, litter, and make sure they have everything they need. I always keep the owner updated with photos and messages so they know their pet is in good hands.

About: Since I was in my teens I have lived a life with pets - both dogs and cats, and it has been such a rewarding journey so far! I have had two rescue dogs, a collie mix and a beagle, and they had my whole heart. I currently have a multi-cat household, and do TNR in my neighborhood where I can to help the outdoor stray cats. I have also rehomed multiple cats with the help of local rescue groups to ensure a long happy kitty life. Currently, I spend a great deal of time with my best buddy Rocco, an 8 year old black lab. I have experience with small dogs, medium sized dogs and large dogs and honestly enjoy them all the same! I also have experience with cats of all ages, from bottle feeding kittens to 18 year old seniors, and am comfortable giving any medications to dogs or cats as well. I know my way around all kinds of personalities and ages, whether it be those that want to play or those that need a slow, gentle walk and some extra attention. I have also been working with the same vet for 20+ years that can attest to my care and love for animals. I will treat every pet like my own - patient, attentive, and genuinely happy to spend time with them. Being around animals - that's my happy place. My hours at work have changed which allows me to be available Monday-Thursday 11am-3pm. I'm available for walks, drops ins for potty breaks while you're at work, or to check on your kitties if you'll be gone longer than you'd like to be. My personal cats are all fixed and up to date on shots, however I took in a stray girl last winter who is very scared of everything. I think it's best to let her rule the house and come to visit yours at your homes where they are most comfortable.

As long as I have at least 2-3 days before a booking I can switch things around to be with your pet. I typically work 4-8 hours and have small breaks where I can leave the school and check in with pets twice a day while I am working. If they need round the clock care, I can make that happen but as it interferes with my day job that would require further conversation as far as pricing. I play with animals, I’ll walk them, bathe them, give them medication if needed. I treat every pet I’m lucky enough to have placed in my care as my own. If needed we can talk about earlier or later times.
