About: I have grown up loving and caring for dogs of my own as well as others. I have always been the person people always call when they have some kind of animal emergency. I absolutely love animals and know a lot about taking care of them and many different types. They will get lots of attention and quality care from me. I will spoil your baby as much as you will let me! I can administer any medication necessary. My dog takes pain meds twice a day so we are already on a medication routine. I have a flexible schedule so I can meet most needs. I keep in contact with you asap if there are any changes that are needed I live in a charming small house in the corner of Ferndale and a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. I have a fully fenced in backyard that is about 97% privacy fence. There’s one little corner where my dog can talk to the dog in back through a chain-link fence. Lots of shade and grass

“Rachel is amazing. She took great care of my Hobey who is a goldendoodle. I knew upon meeting her that she took this would be a great experience for Hobey. She provided videos throughout the day that showed Hobey playing with other dogs, doing tasks that would merit him a treat, and relaxing after some playtime in the backyard. It was nice to see the vids and to see him have a good time. I took him there 3 days in a row and each time he would get excited as we pulled up to her house which made me feel good. I could tell he had an active day when I picked him up cause we would get home and I would feed him and he would sleep for the rest of the night. I was only in Michigan for a week but I will be back to visit family and I will always use Rachel.”

About: My Husband and I welcomed my dog 7 years back in the family when we had no plan to have a pet but we just had to bring her home. I have trained her all by myself and received many compliments on how well-behaved my pet is. I have taken care of my friend's fur friends multiple times. Zusa gets along with pretty much everyone with a condition of them remembering who the queen is in the house lol there’s 40% chance of her playing with your pet but she’ll mostly mind her own business which noting everyone who stopped by- by the bay window that’s 10ft long. Your fur baby will be allowed there too after 24hrs of stay😊 we enjoy pets more than humans😜 which is why your pets likely to be cuddled here not just for the show. They’ll be treated as a cousin of Zusa visiting and nothing less than that. I work from home, so I have plenty of time to entertain your fur friend! I'm available on weekdays anytime after 10 am and accommodate them over weekends with some heads up. I have a fenced yard, lots of toys, and a Shitzu to give your pet company. I do have pretty much everything but a crate, so if you believe your pet will be more comfortable with that, then please bring it with you.

About: Ever since I was 5 years old I have had a pet and have done a wonderful job at taking great care of them. Have always had such a soft spot for animals. I have two kids who are also obsessed with animals and always want to pet and play with them. My neighbor has me let her dog out on a weekly basis, when she’s too busy to do so. About: I have been pet sitting on and off since high school! When your pets are here, they will be at home. I have a fenced in backyard for your dog to enjoy. I am currently off of work so I can focus on my education. While your pet is here they will have round the clock care from my husband and I. My name is Phoenix - I am an avid animal lover who has worked with dogs & cats of all ages and sizes throughout my 15 years of experience with volunteering for animal rescue, as well as owning them throughout my lifetime. My top priority is to ensure your best friend feels safe & at home during their stay. Expect thorough updates and high quality photos all day long of your pet! Also, please enjoy the reassurance that your dog will never be left unsupervised! I now work from home. If I do have to leave the home, I have a doggie cam in which allows me to watch AND talk to them from anywhere! I immediately receive alerts to my phone when they are active. I attended Michigan State University for my Pre-Veterinary requirements so I am able to confidently administer any medications or special diets your pet needs. I have familiarity with many dogs/cats of many behaviors - so if your pet is timid or full of energy, no worries! Dogs are allowed to curl up on the couch with me, as well as sleep on my bed (if you allow). The more the merrier. When they enter my home I like to make them feel comfortable and like they are apart of the family. I have 2 dogs, an Australian Shepherd, Luna, and a Beagle/Basset Hound, Leo, whom are extremely social and has an endless amount of energy, if your dog would enjoy a playmate. One last thing, I do have cats - but they are not your typical cat. They are extremely desensitized to dogs and very friendly towards them. Many dogs who have had little to no cat experience are usually in shock by their confidence and just respect their space! Hope to hear from you and your fur baby soon!

“Emily, Jason & Larry were excellent hosts!! Upon my request for a sitter, they suggested a meet & greet between our dogs. They were welcoming and caring about insuring the dogs were compatible. We agreed on letting Nanook stay. They were very communicative about what our dog was up to, how he was getting along with Larry and they sent photos too. After the stay we were surprised to have received a thank you note and a personalized treat in our bag. That was such a sweet touch! We would definitely book with Emily & Jason again! “Mariana was amazing!! Super communicative from meet-and-greet planning all the way through the end of the stay. Her and her husband made our dog feel right at home and provided consistent photos and updates. Our guy can be a bit of a challenge because of his dog/skateboarder/biker reactivity, but Mariana made us feel totally at ease and comfortable. We could tell he had a great weekend and even gave Mariana goodbye kisses when we came to pick him up--this is a first for him!
