As well as my own senior dog, Bentley, who has passed away. I was also the proud owner of 4 chickens when I lived in Florida. They were the greatest entertainment! By the time I moved to Michigan, there was sadly only one remaining chicken, I didn't want to confuse her with the weather change, so of course she became a house chicken. She got to live her last two years living inside the house, cozy as can be, with me, my dog & cat. We all loved it! Long story short, I'm also available for some farm animal sitting. About: I've cared for both healthy cats and cats with underlying conditions. For 10 years I had a cat that was diabetic that I had to administer insulin to. My current cat is 15 and requires a lot of love and attention.My cat Mabel is a rescued kitten/ cat almost 16 years ago on Halloween night while coming home from work , about 4 cars ahead of me something went flying out the window . I was able to stop and pull over due to not having other cars behind me . It was very cold that night and the sun was just starting to set . I got out of my car and looked around for a few minutes but didn't see anything and I got ready to leave I hear faint cry and I turned and looked down into some tall weeds and there she was , this poor malnourished kitten crying for help . To make a long story short I got her home and the day my wife and I took her to vet . They kept her for 3 days running ivs into her . We able to come and after 3 days thinking she wasn't going make it. And here she is still with after such a traumatic start to her life . I am very grateful to have Mabel as my best friend and wouldn't trade for the world . I love you very much Mabel .

About: I have had cats and dogs my whole life, and they have enriched my life so much. I volunteered at animal shelters, working with dogs of all kinds, and socializing with the cats. I regularly walked dogs and was a dog/house sitter for over a year, then took a brief hiatus while I was working full time and am getting back into dog sitting now that I have a house of my own, and can offer boarding services! I have also had two puppies over my life that I helped raise and take care of into their old age. I am currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to spend loving your critters, and my partner works fully remote so he is available to let dogs in and out while I am gone! I make sure to take swift action on any problems that may arise, and communicate frequently in detail. You can rest easy knowing I treat any critter in my care as if they were one of my own, and you will also receive picture updates every day, usually multiple times a day.

I was late droping-off and picking up, but Natalie was so flexible, which I greatly appreciated. I'm really looking forward to seeing Greta get even more comfortable there, and it just felt like the right fit. I really trusted that Natalie would use good judgement if any issues were to arise, and they actually live a couple doors down from a vet. I could tell Natalie was confident in this role, my dog felt safe and cared for, and I could enjoy my time knowing that she was in capable hands. Greta was so calm when I picked her up, when normally she seems a little frantic to be back with me (even at my mom's)-- if you're looking for a chill place for your pet to feel at ease, this is it. Natalie also asked a lot of important questions when I dropped off Greta which made it clear she was thinking ahead and trying to create an environment that my girl could be happy in. I'm so appreciative of Natalie's considerate approach.”

I am available after 4:30 pm during the week, and weekends. I have a fenced in yard for my for dog, and a crate available if needed. I would prefer caring for your pets at your home but am willing to bring them to my home if they are dog and cat friendly. I have a senior dog who has some trouble getting around so we have ramps, but he prefers dogs that are smaller than he is, about 55 lbs. My pets are treated like kings and queens in our home and I would provide the same care for your fur babies!
