Personalized care for your dog or cat - Copper City

Highly-rated overnight sitters - Copper City

About: I've had dogs, cats, horses, and chickens for most of my adult life. Our family of four loves animals! Our pets are part of our family and are doted on. Our 2-year-old Aussie Doodle absolutely loves other dogs, which is one of the reasons why we are excited to host your fur baby. They will have endless fun with him! I'm currently working part-time, so I will have lots of time with your pet. After school is out, the first week of June, I am home full-time. When I am working my schedule away from home is from 8-4. My husband can give potty breaks when I am at work. We live in the country with a lot of property and trails. I have a dog run to keep your dog safe while outdoors, otherwise I can take them out on a leash. We have one very friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed.
“Has taken care of my dog several times. He loves being there - lots of attention and interaction with other dogs. Ashley responds quickly through Rover for both requests and when I’m checking in. Happy with the care he receives and plan to have Ashley watch him again when it is needed.”

“Jaylynn and Benjamin were absolutely amazing with our dog! They made him feel like part of the family and he was a happy happy boy playing with their golden retriever and other puppy they were dog sitting for! Their communication was excellent and we really enjoyed getting updates and pics. I will definitely be using their services again in the future.”

“Marcy did a fabulous job taking care of Tanner for a few days while we visited Isle Royale National Park. She took him for long walks, played with him in the back yard, took him berry picking and to the beach and provided a loving “home away from home” for him during his stay. She sent me regular updates and photos of the little fellow to put my mind at ease that instructions for his feeding, medication, and care were being followed precisely and he was doing well. I couldn’t recommend Marcy more highly and would love to have the opportunity to work with her again in the future if we are back in the area.”

About: I have hands on experience with a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, cows, sheep, goats, and horses. My strongest background is in training and caring for horses. Additionally, I spent four months shadowing at a veterinary clinic, where I gained valuable knowledge about the care and wellbeing of cats and dogs. I’ve also provided pet care for friends and family, and I genuinely enjoy building trust and spending time with the animals I look after. I currently work part time, which gives me plenty of time to play with and care for any pets in my care. On average, I work only 4–5 hours a day, so your pet will receive lots of attention throughout the day. Even when I’m briefly away, your pet won’t be alone—my family members, who also love animals, are often around and happy to help. Your pet will be surrounded by care, attention, and a loving environment at all times. I always follow any instructions provided by the owner to ensure your pet’s routine and comfort are maintained. While I don’t have a fenced in yard, your pet will always be closely supervised when outside to ensure their safety.
“Suz was wonderful! She really cared about our two Goldens! She took them for walks and allowed them time to play in the yard. We were sent plenty of pictures and updates as to how things were going. We will book with Suz again for sure!!!”

“Sherry and Bob watched our pup, Chestnut, for several days and he had a blast hanging out with them and their (very cute) dogs. Sherry sent me regular updates and photos each day so I knew Chestnut was doing well. I always get anxious when leaving my dog with a sitter for several days, but I quickly felt confident that he was safe and happy with Sherry and Bob.”

About: Hi everyone! I’m looking forward to giving your pet the best care possible! I’ve been blessed with some amazing dogs (and a few cats) over the course of my life and have tons of experience caring for them, and making sure they’re loved and comfortable. :) My photos show some photos of the animals I’m so grateful to have in my life! I also have experience taking care of older and special needs dogs who may need more care in regards to medications/ diet/ physical ability etc. I am confident and comfortable around most pets, regardless of size or personality! I am a full time nursing student so my schedule varies day by day, however I can plan to be with your furry friend all hours I am not in class. I will follow any training or safety guidelines you have for your pet, such as fencing, leashes etc. Safety is my top priority so I will ensure that any special needs your pet has are met to keep them happy and healthy.
“Woody spent the day with Whitney and we picked him up tired and happy. Playing with Walker, another GSP, obviously agreed with him. Whitney will be caring for Woody again as we feel very comfortable leaving him with this Rover host!”

About: I have experience working with animals through my own pets, working at the animal shelter in the past, and volunteering at the animal shelter. I have also fostered. I am comfortable giving medications and other special care. I am available during the summer season. I don’t leave animals unsupervised. Our routine is driven by the dogs’ needs and creating opportunities for enrichment. I have a 6 ft fence in the backyard, own my own home, and take the dogs for daily trail walks. They’ll be treated like they’re part of my own pack.

“Isabella was very nice, on time, and took very good care of our new kitten while we were gone for a week. She sent us pictures everyday that the kids loved to see. She fed the fish and I have no negative experiences. I will use her again if she is available and you should too.”

“Kaelyn was fantastic. We have a skittish cat and she managed to get our kitty to instantly like her. She came every day at the same time so our cat was waiting for her. She also spent time petting her which our cat loved. We are so pleased with the job she did and highly recommend her.”

“Evah was very dependable and the cats seemed to love her. Their disposition when we returned from our trip was very calm. Evah shared photos daily of them both playing and interacting.”

“We think Kat did a wonderful job with drop-in visits for our two cats! They are shy but everything worked out fine for all. Kat also kept my plants watered and let us know of any situations with the house since we were gone for a longer period period of time. we really appreciate her going the extra mile for us!”

Perfect for high energy dogs - Copper City
“Ashley did a great job of taking care of my 3 dogs, a senior dog who has limited mobility, an active senior dog and a 4 month puppy with endless energy. Would recommend Ashley and would use her again if we were in the area again.”

“Suzanne could not have been better. She made sure my dog was comfortable with her dogs and did everything she could to make it easy for both of us. She was extremely flexible when my plans unexpectedly changed.”
About: My dedication and proficiency in learning new skills has led to caring for various unique animals and gaining hands-on knowledge. I am willing to care for any animals you need, just reach out! I have experience with dogs, cats, rats, bunnies, guinea pigs, snakes, geckos, fish, house birds, chickens, turkeys, ducks, pigs, cows, and sheep of various ages. I also have cared for dogs/cats that are blind, deaf, seizure prone and require medication (oral/injectable). I'm proficient in first aid basics for dogs and cats as well. I'm self-motivated and reliable, taking care of my family's pets from a young age and gaining endless experience since including taking care of countless neighbor's animals while growing up and continuing to do so. In addition to pet sitting, I have volunteered at various rescues and have fostered multiple cats, including a litter of five 4 week old kittens. Since fall 2019, I have been working with mushing kennels ranging from 10-70 dogs; through hard work and consistency, I became entrusted to care for and train dogs at these kennels, participating in multiple mushing races. I have assisted numerous mushers with their dogs at events and have learned a lot from them, along with veterinarians that attend. I'm practiced in raising multiple litters and took in a runt puppy temporarily when he required extra attention and bottle feeding. These experiences also resulted in me befriending a service dog trainer, who has helped me learn how to apply different training techniques to both dogs and cats. Now I have a sled dog of my own who has been a joy and given me insight into training my own dog for various sports plus service dog public access and tasks. Thanks for reading this glimpse into my experiences taking exceptional care of animals. I look forward to continuing to learn more and help others. I always take the opportunity to get to know each animal individually, tending to bond with them quickly. I would love to get to know you and your pets if you give me the chance! I currently work 4-5 days a week with around 8-10 hour shifts, but am able to leave mid-shift for a potty break and sometimes can do some work from home as well. I also live with my partner and sister who both have lots of similar experience with caring for animals and are happy to step in and help out as well. Many clients meet them and love that their pets get extra attention, often choosing to hire them for jobs when I'm unavailable. When caring for client's pets, my first priority is safety. I make sure my client and I have contact information for each other and any additional contacts for emergencies. I make note of their preferred veterinarian and any concerns they might have. I also prefer a meet and greet to get to know each other and the animal(s). Then I have the owner walk me through their care routine and ask questions. Once I know the tasks for the job, I see if there is anything else I can do to make my client feel more comfortable. This includes providing frequent updates with pictures, and anything else needed for them to know their pet(s) are in good hands. I take constructive criticism well and look forward to providing the best services I can!
