I have taken care of senior pets, both cats and dogs, for several days at a time. I am comfortable with giving medication and tending to any other special needs your fur baby may have. I am in the accelerated program and my schedule changes every 6-7 weeks. Until 4/16, I have 12 hour clinical days at Troy Corewell on Thursdays and Sundays and class 3 days a week ending at 2 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays, then 10:30 AM on Tuesdays in the Auburn Hills area. I am also available in the Macomb and St. Clair areas. I am completely comfortable with staying in the home with pets to keep them on their routines in a familar environment. I have stayed one night up to 2 weeks, so I am flexible with whatever you or your pets may need. My dog loves to play with other dogs, so I can introduce them if requested.

About: I spent 11 wonderful years with my two standard poodles Molly and Loki. I recently lost them in the past couple years and miss them dearly. I would like to offer daycare and lodging for poodles and doodles. I am highly allergic to other breeds so I need to stick with the breed I love. My husband and I are retired and can offer much comfort and love to your babies when you travel or are at work. They will be spoiled rotten and adored while in my care. We are both retired and available quite often unless we are planning to travel. This is not a career for us. I am simply doing this because I love the breed and miss my dog's dearly but I'm just not ready to get another dog. I have a fenced in yard and can also walk dogs weather permitting. Pups will have the run of the house. We would never feed a pup anything that was not provided as both our dogs had gastro issues and we know how important it is to their health not to feed them off diet.

I often sit 1-4 dogs at a time; so your pet must be able to get along with other dogs. I will take your pets on daily walks and supervise them outside frequently to potty. I don’t use crates unless the owner requests; and the babies sleep with me! For dogs that might be a bit nervous or crabby away from home, I use lavender and chamomile oils to sooth their nerves. I am retired and have lived in the Macomb County area for 18 years. I have excellent personal and business references. My goal is to love and enjoy your animals and provide them with the best possible and safest environment. I love to take photos & will send lots of pics of your babies while you’re gone. I have no allergies and have a smoke free home! I’m a teacher during the school year, so I’m just looking to keep some animals company this summer while on break! About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals since I was young! Growing up we had dogs, cats, horses, cattle, chickens and more. I have taken many veterinary medicine related classes as well as exotics. I can care for senior pets, puppies, and everything in between with the same love and care that I would my own. I currently work full-time but I am always looking to switch up my routine. I am awake early for my job so walking or taking pets out for the bathroom and breakfast in the morning perfectly aligns. The same goes for when I am home from work. During the weekends, I tend to be outside so walks, hikes, trips in the car are frequent. I will follow all guidelines given to me by the pet parent. I will also pay special attention to medical cases, seniors or those who may need it. I am also available in the Macomb and St. Clair areas. I am completely comfortable with staying in the home with pets to keep them on their routines in a familar environment. I have stayed one night up to 2 weeks, so I am flexible with whatever you or your pets may need. My dog loves to play with other dogs, so I can introduce them if requested.
