“Nicole and her family were wonderful!! They took great care of my Pointer Stella and she had a good experience. They sent me pictures of Stella with Nicole’s family and her friendly pets. I would most definitely recommend her to any of my friends or whoever reads this! I will definitely be bringing Stella back for more visits!”

“We highly recommend Skip and Mary! Blue is hard to win over and he was snuggling with them before the end of the first night. They are clearly dog lovers, and they are a perfect fit if your dog is used to having someone at home often, loves walks, snuggles, but is not comfortable around children. Thank you for taking such good care of Blue!”

“Rodney is an awesome sitter. He has 30 acres and he loves dogs! He helped Brownie take his pills every day and took very good care of him. Brownie had a great camping experience at Rodney house. Thank you so much Rodney!”

“This is our first time using Rover to board our sweet girl and we were super pleased! We were nervous to leave our dog somewhere unfamiliar, but Christine provided us with updates during our week long vacation and Oakley looked like she was having so much fun. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience for our Oakley girl!”

“Professional, kind and clearly dog lovers! Happy to find Coddy and Byron for the long holiday weekend. As a lab, Kevin can be quite the handful and after the meet and greet I knew he would be well taken care of. Provided daily updates and answered my questions quickly. Best part is Kevin came home tired and happy! Recommend and will be using again!”

“We had the most incredible experience with boarding with Haleigh. We boarded an 18 month old GSD puppy with her. She showed him such great care and provided many updates. I cannot recommend her more. Five star. Nicest person ever.”

“Zuri is an absolutely amazing puppy caregiver! She took care of our puppy for several days and treated her like one of her own. We got constant updates and pictures of our sweet girl. Any fears or unease was quickly put to rest after meeting Zuri. Summer enjoyed her stay and even missed her “second “ family when we picked her back up. I would recommend Zuri for boarding hands down! Her entire family was amazing. She is so kind, caring, professional and compassionate. We were blessed to find her. She is extremely knowledgeable about pets and is always willing to go the extra mile for you. We will definitely be back for as long as she will have us!”

“Definitely recommend Madison to watch my pup. She has few other dogs and I was not sure how she would react with other dogs as she likes to play but can sometimes be a handful. Madison was nice enough to meet Nala before I even booked and let her meet her dogs so we could see how they would react. She put my mind at ease by sending videos and pictures during Nalas stay showing me how Nala was getting along with her pups and just having a grand ole time. She has plenty of field for dogs to run around and enjoy/ tire themselves out. Will definitely be trusting her with my pup again and can not recommend her enough.”

“Janelle was amazing with our guy Oscar. We had to find someone last minute, as the person we had needed to back out. She took very good care of him and gave us daily updates as well as pics. She is a lover of all animals and it shows by the way she interacts with them. I will definitely be asking her to watch Oscar the next time we need someone and will recommend her to all of our family and friends!!”

About: I have been pet sitting for over ten years including my time spent living and working at a doggy boarding facility. I will treat your pets as my own and ensure they have a great time while you are away! I am able to give medication, provide senior animal care, and also care for farm animals of all kinds. I currently work as a social worker with a flexible schedule. I have dog crates/kennels at my home if needed although well mannered pups are welcome to free range the house in the event we may need to leave for a short time. I have a fenced yard for safe and comfortable potty and play time! We live near many trails for walks and have endless toys for playing!
“Katie took good care of my dog, Tilly, for the weekend. She sent daily photos and updates and opened her home for Tilly’s stay. Tilly seemed comfortable and enjoyed playing with toys. I’d recommend Katie and her family for dog sitting.”

“Sarah was awesome with Romeo. She took him on at the last minute, sent pictures to me showing me how happy he was. Romeo is a spoiled dog and she saw to it he was given lots of cuddles n love. I have already recommend her to my sister. You can't go wrong with this sweet young lady.”

“This was the longest we’ve ever left Jamaica with someone outside of family, and we didn’t have to worry at all. Just like on our shorter trips leading up to this one, she couldn’t wait to see Amber again—she ran right over and barely looked back at us! It’s clear she absolutely loves spending time with Amber, which gives us so much peace of mind. We’ll definitely continue booking with Amber for as long as she’s offering Rover services.”

“Robin took such good care of my babies Loki and Morgan. And even on short notice for a last minute wedding I had to go to in Washington state. She sent awesome updates on how they were doing. We really appreciate you taking such good care of them. I highly recommend her to watch your fur babies.”

“Annie was great! For the first time returning from a trip, our dog, Roxy wasn't that excited to see us lol!! Annie did all the things that Roxy loves like to do like swimming, playing fetch and hanging with an adult. Annie even got Ro,y to socialize with a couple dogs which is incredible considering that Roxy is a shephard and not fond of other dogs. Annie was awesome! Great communication and doggie skills!”

“Very responsive to messages! I appreciated the pictures of our dog while they were there and could see how happy Coco was being there! Thank you again! An absolute pleasure and will definitely book again if needed!”

She spent plenty of time with them on each visit, and also kept us updated with lots of photos. Our cats are senior citizens and need medications, so they're not the easiest to take care of, but Natasha handled everything incredibly well. We would happily have her watch our cats again.”

“Alexis came over to meet Mabel and Edith ahead of potential overnight stays and occasional walks. She was patient with our very friendly (and very excited) girls, who love new people and have absolutely no sense of personal space. She asked thoughtful questions about their routines and personalities, and even about their sister cat, Samoa Jane. Alexis quickly picked up on the girls’ quirks and need for attention, balancing engaging with them while also taking the time to answer our questions. The girls went looking for her after she left, a clear sign they were happy to have met a new friend!”

“Margaret took more than exceptional care of my cat. It's very stressful leaving our furry family members at home but Margaret kept giving me reassuring updates. My cat is usually very shy around new people, but Margaret spent her time getting to know my cat and she was very welcoming. I definitely reccomend her to anyone in need of a pet sitter! She made sure everything was taken care of!”

“Aveline has been very helpful! She is an excellent communicator, asked good questions and took cute pictures of our pets while we were away. She really cares and did an excellent job. We highly recommend Aveline!”

About: Hi there, I’m Brittany. Animals make me happy. When I see a pet, I see a child. They are a member of the family. They have the sweetest souls and biggest hearts and I wouldn’t treat them any other way. I have one dog and I was raised with 3 dogs and 2 cats. I have always been an animal lover and I always will be. Every day I take my dog on at least one walk and many times I walk him multiple times per day. I treat my fur babies like family and how I would want to be treated. I am not only here to help you during your busy schedule but to become a friend to you and your fur baby. To house sit during longer durations, I can travel to anywhere. I would need to bring my golden retriever with me if your pets like to socialize and make new friends, he loves other dogs and gets along with them great, he is very social and has been to many dog parks and households with pets, if not I may be able to find someone to take care of him for me during that time. For drop in visits, I can assist on my own or bring my dog for some company. I am also available on certain days for doggy day care and boarding. When I have a dog stay with me I treat that dog like my own and it would have an amazing friend to play with. Pets are allowed on furniture, I have treats, toys, tons of dog beds, and a fenced in yard. I will also take your dog out on walks and play fetch or tug to burn energy. If you choose to book me, thank you for trusting me and I won’t disappoint you! My schedule is very flexible, and I would love to help accommodate what you need help with, whether that is daily or weekly. I am always picking up new work bookings. I have booked a lot off of rover so I have additional referrals if you would like them! I will treat your animals and home as if it were my own, with love, trust, and respect. I have helped out for many years taking care of people's pets and homes. I have many references.
“Kristin was amazing! This was my first time using Rover and she explained how the process worked even though she didn’t have to. She took the initiative with everything which was very helpful for me and went above and beyond! If I need someone to watch my cats again, I will definitely want Kristin to be that person!”

“Arling and Mary took great care of my 8-month-old Pomeranian pup. He was comfortable and content with them and they took him on multiple walks and provided great care! Sent updates and took photos. Would use them again in the future and recommend.”

About: I’ve worked professionally as a horse trainer, wildlife rehabilitator, zookeeper, animal cruelty investigator and farm animal sanctuary manager. As of 2026 I now offer sitting and boarding for dogs and cats in my home or yours. In my home, your dog or cat would have the space exclusively to themselves as there are no other animals or kids in the house. I can also service horse farms including feeding, cleaning and overnight stays. I know how much trust it takes to leave your animals with someone else, and I don't take that lightly. I guarantee that your animals will feel safe and comfortable with me, and you'll rest easy knowing they're in experienced hands. I look forward to working with you! I work mostly from home, which allows me to be present and attentive throughout the day. I’m able to provide regular potty breaks, exercise, outdoor time in my fenced yard, and companionship without long absences. I focus on creating a safe, calm, and comfortable experience based on each pet’s personality and needs. In my home, dogs have a peaceful environment and access to my fully fenced backyard for supervised outdoor time. Because I work mostly from home and don’t have other animals right now, I’m able to give them consistent attention, companionship, and a relaxed setting. For cats, I have a private bedroom available for those who may feel uneasy at first or need their own space. The room includes a cat tower, cozy cubbies, and a full bed with soft blankets arranged into comfortable nesting spots. This gives them a quiet place to decompress and adjust at their own pace, while still receiving attentive care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal feeding, exercise, and care routine so things feel familiar and low stress. I’m respectful of both the pet and the home, and I’m attentive to details like energy level, mood, and overall wellbeing. I also provide regular updates so you know your pet is comfortable and doing well.
About: I will love and care for your furry friends as I do my own. I've owned dogs my whole life and my family would say it's a passion I've never fulfilled (but will be thanks to rover!) I've owned all size breeds so teacup or a small horse, I've got you covered! I am a Navy Veteran and current full-time student at the University of Michigan and my husband works from home 100% of the time. Your pups will never be left unsupervised. We have two other dogs in the home who love having guests and making new friends. Feedings can take place whenever you deem necessary for you! We have a ton of treats (SCHNACKS) ready to spoil and pamper your puppers as we do our own. I live on 7 acres of land in a private community, and have approximately 1 acre of fenced in yard directly off the back of the house. Your friends will be able to take plenty of potty breaks and nice tranquil walks in the "countryside". They will be kenneled at night (around 11p.m.) in a dark, empty room in a padded kennel. (I know it sounds depressing but is actually super relaxing for doggos!). Doggie bath services are also negotiable.
“Michelle was great with our pup Finn! Her two dogs played with Finn all day; Finn would come home exhausted! Doggy daycare was perfect with Michelle when my husband and I were both working!”

About: I have had dogs my entire life. My dogs have been and always will be members of the family. We currently do not have a dog as our 14 year old lab passed away from a stroke last year. We do allow dogs on furniture and we do take excursions to the park in good weather. This can be your dogs home away from home. I am retired and am home unless I am traveling. We have a fenced in property with woods and a creek that your dog can enjoy on walks unless you prefer they just stay in the main yard. When your dog is here so am I to ensure your dog is well cared for. I have a single family home with a fenced yard. Pets are allowed on furniture and bed. I enjoy excursions to the park with my dog for walks and relaxing. Children are grown and gone so it's just a couple who enjoy dogs. We have a senior Labrador who is very friendly, has all vaccinations and has free roam of the house. I am also available to sit for your dog in your home if you prefer. I follow any instructions for your dog you want me to, including administering medications.
“I was super nervous before dropping off my Ollie but once I met Rodney and talked to him, my nerves were calmed. He made sure to give me updates throughout the day and sent me pictures of guy max'in and relax'in. I will for sure be using him again”

“Katie is just great. Immediately felt comfortable with her and you can tell she has tons of experience. She has a great set up, Rodney had an awesome time and loved hanging out in her deck. Will definitely use her again.”

About: Your dog will be my dog while in my care. I am a huge animal lover who has always made my animals a part of my family, not just an animal. Starting May 4th, I will be training for a new job. My training hours will be 8-5, if you can work around those time please reach out. My yard is not fenced so your babies will only be outside when I am out there with them, leashed if required. I do not agree with leaving a dog alone all night when they are already seeing a difference with their family being gone. If they are dog friendly they would have socialization as well with my friends and family dogs so they could get some interaction and extra exercise! I currently work from home so frequent potty breaks or administration of medication would not be an issue. We would be one big happy family all day long My dogs are not crated when I leave the house but do have an extra large one if required for your baby. If you need me to do a drop in visit, my hours for availability are in the air for the next couple of weeks until I am given my new works hours.

I work from home(sometimes have to travel) so it's easy checking in on pets or staying elsewhere if needed! I work from him so checking in on pets or staying at a house is easy and flexible for me! I do have to travel sometimes. I have 2 dogs right now that are small and very friendly. I have a fenced in yard. Working from home makes it easy to travel to take care of dogs!

On the weekends I have full time availability! My job is only during the week. I am willing to travel up to 20 miles for taking care of pets. I have a fenced yard, I have plenty of space for your pet to feel safe and a calm house setting. Your pet will receive the love and care it deserves.
About: I've had different dogs in the house for my whole life. As a kid my family brought dogs in for foster care. We've taken care of multiple dogs with disabilities, including deaf dogs and partially blind dogs. Dogs get along with me well and I'm good at getting shy dogs to warm up to me. I've also volunteered with the Jackson County Animal Shelter, working with the cats at PetSmart. I've also taken care of relatives'/friends'/neighbors' pets. Currently I spend most of my time at home working on my online classes so I will have plenty of time to spend caring for your dog. On the rare chance that I'm not home at least one of my parents are in the house and will be able to fill in for me while I'm out. The dogs that I own eat at the same time everyday and go out as needed, but if your dogs need to be treated differently it will be easy to change things for them. Just fill me in on what your pet needs to be taken care of properly and I should be able to get it done.

About: While I'm more used to cats, I do also love dogs. Have a dog with separation anxiety? I can keep them company for a while! I will be working part-time Monday-Friday from 2 pm to 6 pm during the school year (September-Early June). I will be available to watch your pets from 9:30 am-1:30 pm on those days (despite what options this site gave). If I am unable to watch a pet at any time, I will let you know ahead of time by at least a few days. I owned a cat, Higgins, who was a big lovebug and fairly food motivated. I was in charge of feeding him breakfast and dinner since we rescued him in 2015, along with scooping his litterbox. He also needed nightly medication for some stomach issues, so I have experience giving pills. I can feed your pet, clean up after them whether they have a set schedule or not, and provide medication if necessary.
“Natasha is my go-to for my dog walking needs! She is flexible and works with me and my crazy schedule, and best of all my doggo loves her. I really appreciate the pictures and updates she sends me during her visits - it’s a relief to me during a long day at work to know that I don’t have to worry about my pup.”

I am comfortable around all dogs and is willing to adapt and learn from your pet! I will come care, play, feed, walk, cuddle them with love, willing to take animal to park if allowed. I will leave here and there only if it’s work and family related interferes. I have only one pup isn’t a puppy anymore 7 years old German Shepard full over outrageous adventures. Grew up with 4 miniature docsins, pit pulls, Great Danes and etc. due to family! All love for all dogs Transportation is available if I do ever need to grab extra dog food or drive to the park etc. I am currently full time traveling assistant manager, I have a flexible schedule for hours normally my shifts are between hours 8:30a to 7p they are around 7-9 hour shifts but I can always make it work to visit and take care of your animals when we discuss. I do accept a month to two weeks in advance in order to work out a good schedule but I do take last minute bookings but schedule will be iffy only due to last minute. When I’m sitting i would love to do other things while I’m there to help out if needed, trash, recycling, plants need water I got it handled, any small task you can’t get to I will be more than willing to help! I’m currently working a full-time job about 35-40 hours a week. My schedule isn’t set fully yet but I get my schedule a week ahead and normally I’m always able to rearrange my schedule to work out for others I don’t have a fence up yard I’m currently trying to get one. But normally I always go outside and watch the dogs go to the bathroom normally I always put them on a leash so I know they won’t run away. I always feed the dogs morning, noon time and dinner time. I currently live with my grandma, mother, and brother and we don’t have a dog living in the house. I do have spare dog toys, pads and crate from my dog that lives with my dad just incase I have a dog that I dog sit comes over so they have a place to sleep in my room.
About: I have a love for animals big and small. I enjoy exploring and making new experiences with animals. I have experience with elderly and medical needs animals. I work as a nanny and have sometimes weeks off and would love to have an animal to take care of and take places with me. I have a house with 13 acres, for dogs that are not recall trained I use a 10 ft leash and always make sure leases are on before the door opens. I have a separate room for my own animals that way if rabbits or cats are meet with aggression all animals will be safe.

I do well with all different types of breeds and would treat your pet as my own (I have a goldendoodle back at home named Bentley). When he comes up to visit me, we love to go on walks, go to the pet store and even the doggie Beach! I have recently just got a Mini Aussie puppy of my own named Asher and he will melt your heart! I would love to give my love and affection to your pet(s) and make sure to go above and beyond for them! They will definitely be spoiled and have lot of attention that they deserve! I would be so happy to have your to watch and walk! I work a hybrid schedule for work so I am able to work from home! About: Hi, I’m Sophie Water, a senior Honors student at the University of Michigan! I offer dependable, caring, and flexible pet-sitting services for your furry friend—whether you’re going away for the day, a weekend, or an extended trip. I can provide drop-in visits or overnight sitting, tailored to your pet’s needs! I also pride myself on sending excessive amounts of pet pictures to you (unless requested that I don’t). As a pet owner myself, I know how hard it is to be away from them, no matter how long it is. I’ve grown up with at least four pets and have over 7 years of experience with pet-sitting. I’m passionate about animals and will treat your pets as if they were my own, ensuring they’re safe, happy, and well-cared for in your absence. SERVICES I OFFER: Drop-in Visits: For feeding, walking, playtime, and administering any medication if needed. Overnight Sitting: I stay at your home to ensure your pet is never left alone overnight. Pet Care for All Animals: I am definitely open to watching all kinds of pets! Please submit additional pets with your original requests and I will follow-up as soon as I can! Additional Tasks: If you need help with things like bringing in the mail, watering plants, or any other small tasks while you’re away, I can definitely assist! FREE CONSULTATION AVAILABLE My resume, more detailed proof of experience, references, and service rates are available upon request. Please feel free to message me through Rover if you’re interested in any of the above services. I’d be happy to schedule a free consultation to meet and discuss details further prior to booking. Super excited to meet you and your pets! I am a college senior at UofM, and am about to graduate. Most of my coursework and internship work can be done remotely and asynchronously, so I’m flexible and willing to adapt to your pet’s needs!! I also am from the Metro Detroit area and can stay with family there, so if you’re looking for services there I may be able to still help out. Unfortunately, my current lease agreement doesn’t allow me to have pets in my own home. That being said, I find that this is often a comfort to most pets. It can be a tough adjustment when both your owner and home are suddenly gone! I do my best to make sure I follow your pet’s routine to the best of my ability. I also take into consideration pet personalities, likes and dislikes, and try my hardest to intuitively and empathetically care for them. As someone who grew up with pets of all temperaments (from escape artists to insanely energetic to couch potatoes), I am able to build relationships with each pet individually and anticipate their wants and needs. Pets are just as smart (if not smarter ;) than people, and I make it a given that I treat them as such. There are no silly questions or requests! I am happy to cater to what YOU believe and know your pet needs, and work especially hard to keep you updated (unless you request against it). I’m a super cautious and paranoid person, which at times can be a negative. In terms of pet care, though, this means that nothing will slip through the cracks. Any concerns that may in the past have gone unnoticed will be meticulously catered to. I hope you’ll trust that your pets are just as important to me as my own, and I’ll do everything I can to make sure they have the safest and best time they can with me!

“Amanda went above and beyond while taking care of our dog. She sent many updates with pictures and made sure our dog was feeling comfortable and getting great exercise. We had a great experience and hope Amanda is available the next time we need to board our dog!”

“I felt very confident leaving my dog with Jenny. She related well to him and took him for a walk and ent pictures. She was very easy to work with and I could tell she really liked my dog. I am so happy to have found such a great dog sitter!”
