About: I’ve had my own dog since I was 13, and have always had a dog since. My dog is my baby! One of my favorite pastimes is walking my dogs. I currently have 2 dogs. Fresh water always, lots of love, and good quality food/treats and getting outside for potty breaks are so important to me. I work full time day shift during the week. Weekends and evenings are free for me! I would love to drop in and take care of your pet while your away! Pets like their routines and I am totally respectful of that. I can accommodate their particular needs to keep them safe, happy and well cared for!

About: I have been watching dogs since I was in high school for neighbors but recently took up watching dogs seriously in the last year or so. I worked at a private country club in California for the last year and was very involved in watching members dogs. This included taking them for walks, stopping in for daily visits while owners are away or spending multiple nights, sometimes up to a week staying with dogs. This has included many different breeds ranging from schitzus to giant poodles. I am comfortable with multiple animals. I work from home as a freelancer in the golf industry so my schedule is completely flexible to your needs. I am available for morning walks, lunchtime walks and evening walks. I follow clients directions very carefully and can play with, walk or entertain your dog as long as you request. I love caring for animals.

About: I have always had a huge soft spot for animals as do my kids . I am currently renting and am unable to board animals at my home . I do have a full time job in the medical field during the weekdays, but I am available to walk or play with your pet after 5 pm weekdays and open availability on weekends. About: I am a long-time lover of animals, and have raised a family of humans, along with a family of pets- large dogs, small dogs, birds, hamsters, mice and turtles. I am currently without a pet, so I care for my backyard squirrels, birds, and chipmunks. I am retired with lots of time, energy, and love to care for your dear pet. I love to walk and hike, live close to the TART trail, and would enjoy the company of a furry friend. Walking trails are just outside my door, and I have space for crates and your furry friend's toys or their own special bed and blanket if preferred for their care and comfort.

About: In college I worked as a professional pet sitter that was over 20 years ago. Since then I have pet sat off and on over the years in my home and in clients home. About: I have had pets of my own for the past 38 years, since I was 12 years old. I also have a degree in biology and chemistry and have worked in animal hospitals and zoos. My husband, Scott, has had pets all his life. We treat our pets with the love and care that family members deserve, and we take our responsibility to them very seriously. About: My name is Emily and my boy there is Mr. Roscoe Jenkins! The two of us recently moved in with my boyfriend Jordan in a lovely house in the Traverse City area and we now have upgraded to a large fenced in backyard! Jordan works from home full time and I am currently home full time as well. Im presently dealing with a work injury, so my ability to do long walks is not here, but I do take the dogs biking individually and they get tons of exercise that way. Im great at trai ing them to bike slow with me. I have had two family dogs, and two of my own. I lost my husky mix, Namuche, in 2014 and Roscoe came into my life in October 2015. I started doing Rover after I lost Namuche, because I wasn't quite ready to get another dog yet. The entire concept of Rover is great for the pets and great for me, and hands down beats having them stuck in a 6x8 kennel somewhere during your whole vacation only to come back to a doggie full of pent up energy. That never happens here. Around working a full 8 hour day, I still make sure the pups have at least two good walks a day, with their evening walk being longest. Tons of play time, attention, pets, couch time, exercise, kisses and often homemade treats at Your Dog's Second Mom! Roscoe is a rescue from Roswell, NM. He's definitely got a personality of his own. He is a 10 year old Chocolate lab/German Shorthaired Pointer mix. He's a sweetheart and has gotten along great with all other dogs during the first 4 years of doing Rover, and now with a few years under his belt, he's become a little pickier about who he likes in his space. He loves all females, and males generally with the exception of unneutered males. I have to make special adjustments to house any males he does not take to. He will be your pets companion during their stay. I can administer oral medication, bath, groom and walk your pets while you are gone so you can be at ease while you are away. I provide top quality care and comfortable environment for your pups during your time away. Roscoe helps make them feel at home too! As much outdoor time as possible - that is the best thing I think anyone can provide for an active dog. Lots of fresh air, sniffs and exercise. For the small ones, nice comfortably paced walks on the sidewalks. When we return, we do a couple tricks for treats and they're usually pooped out and ready for a nap by that point. I'm extra vigilant when walking other's dogs as it takes one a moment to learn their quirks - some dogs lunge at cars, some at people, some at bikes, you know. Safety is absolutely important and I would hope that someone paid the extra vigilance when walking my boy because he definitely has his quirks. I don't have children, so the dogs in my care are my babies. I wash their food bowls out every meal, haha Making sure we get out to the park for play and on the trail for daily hikes is as important to my daily routine as i feel it is for most dogs. The pups are a part of my every day, all day. Roscoe Jenkins is here to show your pup the ropes! I never have the dogs out unattended. We're in an apartment but walks are often and we've got a large balcony for the pups to relax on!

I split my regular work schedule with 3 wfh days each week. We are an early rising family who enjoy spending time on our homestead. We have several resident pets on the farm: 20 sheep, 2 mini donkeys, chickens and one beloved mutt. Our regular routine involves a 1 mi walk in the am and pm with lots of other opportunities throughout the day for supervised fresh air or playtime in one of our fenced 1 acre pastures. Safe and secure, a ball lovers paradise! I’m comfortable treating your pet as my own with specialized treatment or care as needed. We have 2 respectful preteen boys in the household so kid friendly dogs are an absolute must.
“We had an amazing experience with Bob. Our puppy loved it from the first moment, as Bob's place feels so welcoming. Wooded trails right beyond the house with a walking access to the dog beach at lake Leelanau was great. Bob has sent pictures of dogs having fun at the beach. Overall freedom for the dogs to walk in and out to the fenced backyard, being welcomed on the couch was such a loving & carrying environment and perfect solution for our Golder Retriever, we will be there again and again when in Traverse City area!”
