I am new to the Rover experience and had to leave my 13-week old puppy and was nervous about leaving. From the start, Scott and Steph put me at ease and even offered a meet up beforehand so we and our dogs could meet. I was updated daily, sometimes more, with video and photos and I could see immediately that my puppy was in the best hands I could imagine; it was like a vacation for my puppy, too! They really take an interest in making it a great experience and environment for their pet guest. About: I have grown up with both cats and dogs, and then when I was able to I had two large breeds of my own for many years. Currently, we have a 2-yr old Bernese mountain dog and an older cat at home. I’m a teacher with a very open availability during summer and would love to fill it with taking care of your dogs - any breed but happy to provide confidence for high energy larger breeds. I’m a full time teacher, so while weekdays do work, it would need to be around that sort of schedule during the school year. I can provide short term care on weekdays and more intensive care on weekends. During summer months I am wide open to provide care as needed. I’m an avid runner and LOVE to be outside so I’m happy to provide short or long walks for your animal. During summer months, my availability is based largely on your needs.

About: I worked in a vet clinic during college and I studied animal science for a year and a half. I had cats growing up and hope to get a dog one day soon! We have 2 young kids right now, so we are not ready to own our own pet just yet. I am great with training and have trained my friends’ dogs and my cats. Both cats that I most recently lived with knew “up” and know how to sit on command. I am a teacher during the school year and home during the summer. I am free all summer except a trip here and there. I try to keep my calendar as updated as possible, but you can always reach out and ask! I have a big yard, but it is not fenced in so your dog would have to be on a leash. I do not have any pets, but we do have 2 kids.

About: I am a long-time lover of animals, and have raised a family of humans, along with a family of pets- large dogs, small dogs, birds, hamsters, mice and turtles. With having so much stress traveling Olivia made the situation so much easier because she continued to let us know Nyla was doing well and that she understood the circumstances and would be able to watch her longer than any of us anticipated. 10/10 would recommend and I know who will be at the top of our list for the next time we’re traveling!!!”

About: I had to put down my 10 year old lab this winter. I miss having dog, but thought this would be a great way to spoil your dog and have a dog in the house again. I'm not ready for another pet just yet. I will be in charge, as I work from home. Promise lots of walks, private beach if your dog enjoys that and lots of attention. No puppies (can discuss if housebroken) and can provide for senior dogs if needs are reasonable. Thank you! I primarily work from home so your dog will never be left alone for long. I am writer, so I sit at my desk quite a bit. However, those hikes in the woods or walks around the neighborhood are necessary. I would love to have your dog join me. I will treat your dog like a part of the family. I walk, feed and give plenty of attention. You tell me the rest. I miss having our own dog and would love to take care of yours. It's not a good time to get another dog, but I know how to love and care for yours. I work from home and will handle the care of your dog.
