Maeve is a WFH graphic designer and Jason is a self-employed carpenter living with our two sweet velcro cavalier king charles spaniels — Cricket & Disco. We have very flexible schedules with lots of love and attention to spare. We can easily break away for walks and drop-ins. We live across from Eagle Lake with a large wraparound fully fenced-in yard overlooking 15 private forested acres with trails for leashed nature walks. We have oodles of experience walking, camping, hiking, swimming, and playing with dogs in all environments and elements. Crates and gates are available if your best friend needs their space, but everybody is allowed to make themselves at home. We have lots of cozy nooks and beds. We work to ensure smooth introductions. Our home is very dog-friendly but to that end, kept very clean. We do tick checks and our girls are always up to date with their vaccinations and preventative meds. JIC, we have reliable transportation and are not far from Michiana Veterinary Hospital. We are also able to drive to your preferred vet.

“My last pet sitter canceled last minute and everything went to crap as my cat pepper "drama king screaming demon" needs medicine for his stomach and anxiety in his old age. Sonny took my black fur ball of rage and distrust and made sure he had his medicine and space as pepper can be a bit "much" she gave lots of pictures and updates and was available within 2 days of booking which I desperately needed. She also worked with me as my family trip had gotten derailed when our car broke down and was willing to watch him for a bit longer as we figured out how to get home. She builds a great rapport and I can tell her own animals adore her and are VERY well socialized. Her kitten peaches ran up to me wanting to say hi and her dog ham was not aggressive in the least meeting me for the first time, he just wanted pats!”

About: I've cared for both healthy cats and cats with underlying conditions. For 10 years I had a cat that was diabetic that I had to administer insulin to. My current cat is 15 and requires a lot of love and attention.My cat Mabel is a rescued kitten/ cat almost 16 years ago on Halloween night while coming home from work , about 4 cars ahead of me something went flying out the window . I was able to stop and pull over due to not having other cars behind me . It was very cold that night and the sun was just starting to set . I got out of my car and looked around for a few minutes but didn't see anything and I got ready to leave I hear faint cry and I turned and looked down into some tall weeds and there she was , this poor malnourished kitten crying for help . To make a long story short I got her home and the day my wife and I took her to vet . They kept her for 3 days running ivs into her . We able to come and after 3 days thinking she wasn't going make it. And here she is still with after such a traumatic start to her life . I am very grateful to have Mabel as my best friend and wouldn't trade for the world . I love you very much Mabel .

About: New to Rover.com but 10+ years of fostering over 400 babies for local shelters. They were all spoiled by the time they were ready for adoption. (No apologies for that 🙃) Your pet will be well cared for/spoiled while they visit! I can take two dogs, for the safety of your pet(s) and mine, only if they are from the same household. Love animals and miss fostering I did while in California. Your family member will be in caring hands who has years of experience with puppies and kittens who needed medication. I’m retired and have all the time in the world. 🤭 I still foster and mark my calendar as unavailable when I have foster babies. You can always ask if there is room for one more. 😉 New home with half acre fenced yard. Have a very active border collie who wants a playmate. About: Boarding services: I have a pet friendly home with no children. We have one small doggo that loves other dogs and enjoys making new friends. I am currently working from home. I have been a dog owner for my entire life and grew up on a farm. Dog walking: I try to walk at least two miles with my doggo a day. I can include your best friend in the walk and walk them wherever I need to go. I have been a dog owner all of my life and love getting them out into the world. House sitting: I have house/dog sat for many people from 2 weeks to a weekend. I can also just check in on your doggo if needed. My dog loves to also come along if allowed to meet new friends.

About: I have taken care of many different dogs and cats for family and friends. I always had pets growing up and I currently have 3 dogs of my own. I’m currently working part-time teaching dance to the youth between 4-9pm. This leaves my whole morning/afternoon open. I do have weekend business trips here and there but most weekends are available. I have a fenced in yard and three friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. I have a crate for any dogs that need it. As well as extra leashes and harnesses for walks.
About: I'm willing to go above and beyond to make sure your pet is being taken care of my someone who is going to treat them like they are their own. Right now I'm more then willing to work with any schedule that helps benefit us both. I'm willing to make a drive if that's what's needed. I treat the pet and the owners stuff as if it's everything. About: I have had 3 dogs and 2 cats of my own one was 14, one was 5 and the other is 1 and then my cats are 6 and the other is 4 months old I have also taken care of my grandparents dog who is 7 and I'm trained on CPR for all animals of all ages I am currently working part time as a server in Mishawaka but I am mostly available all day unless I am at work and when I am at work my mom watches my fur babys and can check on ones that I am sitting I will feed them, water them, walk them change the litter box, and love on them, and make sure they don't destroy things in the house.

I am currently enrolled in a summer CNA class which is every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evening for a couple of hours. But the rest of my days/time are totally free. :) I have a boxer of my own that likes to roam are fenced in yard. I take her on walks and I try to take her to the park once a week. She’s not much of a player but I definitely can take on more active pups. I also have two cats, a persian and a stray. My persian typically doesn’t like to be brushed but I have been able to keep him groomed.

I WFH and set my own schedule, so I'm very flexible in regards to my house sitting availability! As for walking, mostly available during the week but can negotiate for weekends in certain cases. I do not pet sit in my own home because I have cats of my own, but have a lot of experience house/pet sitting in clients homes and can provide references.
