We have flexible schedules, reliable transportation with dog seatbelts, a large wrap around fully fenced-in yard, and several forested acres with private nature trails to share with your best friend. Maeve is a WFH graphic designer and Jason is a self-employed carpenter living with our two sweet velcro cavalier king charles spaniels — Cricket & Disco. We have very flexible schedules with lots of love and attention to spare. We can easily break away for walks and drop-ins. We live across from Eagle Lake with a large wraparound fully fenced-in yard overlooking 15 private forested acres with trails for leashed nature walks. We have oodles of experience walking, camping, hiking, swimming, and playing with dogs in all environments and elements. Crates and gates are available if your best friend needs their space, but everybody is allowed to make themselves at home. We have lots of cozy nooks and beds. We work to ensure smooth introductions. Our home is very dog-friendly but to that end, kept very clean. We do tick checks and our girls are always up to date with their vaccinations and preventative meds. JIC, we have reliable transportation and are not far from Michiana Veterinary Hospital. We are also able to drive to your preferred vet.

Sonny took my black fur ball of rage and distrust and made sure he had his medicine and space as pepper can be a bit "much" she gave lots of pictures and updates and was available within 2 days of booking which I desperately needed. She also worked with me as my family trip had gotten derailed when our car broke down and was willing to watch him for a bit longer as we figured out how to get home. She builds a great rapport and I can tell her own animals adore her and are VERY well socialized. About: I've cared for both healthy cats and cats with underlying conditions. For 10 years I had a cat that was diabetic that I had to administer insulin to. My current cat is 15 and requires a lot of love and attention.My cat Mabel is a rescued kitten/ cat almost 16 years ago on Halloween night while coming home from work , about 4 cars ahead of me something went flying out the window . I was able to stop and pull over due to not having other cars behind me . It was very cold that night and the sun was just starting to set . I got out of my car and looked around for a few minutes but didn't see anything and I got ready to leave I hear faint cry and I turned and looked down into some tall weeds and there she was , this poor malnourished kitten crying for help . To make a long story short I got her home and the day my wife and I took her to vet . They kept her for 3 days running ivs into her . We able to come and after 3 days thinking she wasn't going make it. And here she is still with after such a traumatic start to her life . I am very grateful to have Mabel as my best friend and wouldn't trade for the world . I love you very much Mabel .

About: I’ve had dogs in my home since I was 7 years old, caring and loving for small to large dogs, across all ages. I am a proud parent of a 11 lb Chizer and work from home, which allows me to care for your dog throughout the day. My dog gets along with all sized dogs and loves buddies to play with, so your dog will not be alone. I work full time from home and will be around your dog at all times as we never leave our own dog alone. I am able to care for your dog during the weekend as well, as schedules permit. I have a small fenced area to allow your dog to play freely off leash. I also have a huge unfenced yard to take your dog for breaks and to walk around. About: New to Rover.com but 10+ years of fostering over 400 babies for local shelters. They were all spoiled by the time they were ready for adoption. (No apologies for that 🙃) Your pet will be well cared for/spoiled while they visit! I can take two dogs, for the safety of your pet(s) and mine, only if they are from the same household. Love animals and miss fostering I did while in California. Your family member will be in caring hands who has years of experience with puppies and kittens who needed medication. I’m retired and have all the time in the world. 🤭 I still foster and mark my calendar as unavailable when I have foster babies. You can always ask if there is room for one more. 😉 New home with half acre fenced yard. Have a very active border collie who wants a playmate. About: I have taken care of many different dogs and cats for family and friends. I always had pets growing up and I currently have 3 dogs of my own. I’m currently working part-time teaching dance to the youth between 4-9pm. This leaves my whole morning/afternoon open. About: I have always loved animals from a young age. I grew up with a family dog. Three years ago, I signed up to be a volunteer trainer for service dogs in training, I have trained three different dogs of my own, each with special characteristics. “Kevin and his wife Piper took exceptional care of my golden retriever, Point! From start to finish, I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such great hands. They went above and beyond by sending plenty of pictures, which really showed how comfortable and happy Point was during his stay, it meant so much to see him having such a great time. It’s clear they truly care about the dogs they watch and treat them like their own. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and I will most definitely be having them watch Point again. “10/10 Alejandra is a trustworthy and kind person. She handled my dog exceptionally well. It was his first time being at a dog sitter, and I highly recommend Alejandra. She and her husband take great care of everything. They spend ample time on playtime, walks, and other activities. My dog was thoroughly happy. I have a challenging dog, but Alejandra handled him exceptionally well and is truly amazing. She is also flexible with timings, dog essentials, and other matters. She is the kindest person I have ever met.”

Before Odie's stay, she invited me to the meet and greet so that Odie could get to know her and other members of the household. Our conversation that day, and the way she interacted with Odie, let me know that she would be a perfect caretaker for him. I felt at ease the whole time I was away knowing that he was in good hands.
