About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I currently have three dogs, all of whom I brought home at eight weeks old and personally raised and trained. Caring for dogs isn’t just something I enjoy—it’s a lifelong passion. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments, from Chihuahuas to Pit Bulls to Alaskan Malamutes and everything in between. Over the years, I have provided pet care for neighbors, friends, colleagues, and clients, and I understand the importance of treating every dog with patience, kindness, and individualized care. While working as a home health care aide, I was often entrusted with caring for my clients’ pets, ensuring they were fed, exercised, and comfortable while their owners received care. I also volunteered as a dog walker with the Humane Society of West Michigan, where I gained experience working with dogs of varying personalities, energy levels, and behavioral needs. I am comfortable administering medications, following detailed feeding plans and dietary restrictions, and adapting to each dog’s unique routine. I am also certified in Dog and Cat First Aid and CPR, giving pet owners added peace of mind that their companions are in capable hands. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, active playtime, or simply spending time with someone who genuinely loves dogs, I am committed to providing safe, dependable, and compassionate care while you’re away. As a devoted dog owner of three, caring for animals is an integral part of my daily life, and I extend that same level of attention, responsibility, and affection to every pet in my care. I am fully comfortable handling all aspects of daily dog care, including feeding, walking, potty breaks, enrichment, and playtime. My flexible schedule allows me to be home for most of the day throughout the week, as well as on weekends, providing consistent supervision and companionship. I also have the option to work from home when additional attention or frequent potty breaks are needed. In my household, pets are rarely left alone for extended periods. On typical days when I am away from home, my dogs are alone no longer than 5–6 hours. In many cases, my boyfriend may be home when I am not, and when both of us are working, we are generally away for no more than 4–5 hours at a time. If both of us are expected to be away for longer than two hours during a pet’s care period, I communicate this in advance to ensure transparency and appropriate planning. I maintain a consistent but flexible routine that prioritizes feeding, hydration, exercise, and enrichment. Dogs always have access to fresh water and are fed twice daily (or as often as your individual dog requires). Potty breaks are provided frequently based on each dog’s individual needs and cues; however, I am more than willing to follow a more structured schedule if that is what your pet is accustomed to. I am also experienced with administering medications, including monthly heartworm and flea prevention, and take great care to ensure all medications are given accurately and on time. While my household follows a generally relaxed routine, I understand that many pets thrive on structure. I am fully comfortable adhering to detailed instructions and incorporating established routines into my daily care. During the days I am available according to my Rover schedule, I am home for the majority of the day. Any brief absences are typically limited to short appointments, during which my boyfriend may assist with supervision, or pets will be safely confined if appropriate. Above all, I prioritize safety, supervision, and communication. Your pet will never be left without attentive care. Whether in my home or yours, I ensure consistent supervision, engagement, and affection so that every animal feels secure, comfortable, and well cared for throughout their time with me. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my highest priorities. I share my home with three friendly dogs, each with their own unique personality: an energetic and affectionate Boston Terrier, a more reserved but sweet Boston Terrier, and a laid-back Chihuahua who enjoys staying close by. They are well-socialized and can provide companionship for visiting dogs when appropriate. My home is set up to accommodate a variety of needs and routines. I have three individual crates with comfortable bedding available for dogs who are crate trained or require confinement, and you are always welcome to bring your own crate if it helps your pet feel more at home. While my own dogs enjoy free access to the house and are allowed on the furniture, I am happy to follow your pet’s established rules and routines, including using gates or designated areas if needed. Although my yard is not physically fenced, safety is always a top priority. My dogs are never outdoors unsupervised, and the same standard of care applies to every pet I watch. I have a large, open yard that provides plenty of space for exercise, and I regularly walk dogs on a leash around the property and in the neighborhood. If your dog is most comfortable on a leash or tie-out while outside, I am more than happy to accommodate those preferences. All of my dogs are current on their vaccinations and receive routine veterinary care. I pay close attention to changes in their health, behavior, and overall well-being, and I bring that same level of attentiveness to every pet in my care. If I am caring for your pet in your home, I will treat both your home and your companion with the utmost respect. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, medications, exercise, training, household rules, and daily routines to ensure your pet experiences as little disruption as possible while you are away. At bedtime, I am happy to follow whatever sleeping arrangement your pet is accustomed to, whether that means sleeping in a crate, on their own bed, or sharing a room with me. My goal is to maintain their normal routine so they feel secure and comfortable. My boyfriend and I live together, but I will be your pet’s primary caregiver. He may occasionally assist if I need to step away briefly, providing additional supervision and support, but all communication and primary care responsibilities remain with me. For added peace of mind, I am certified in Dog and Cat First Aid and CPR. You can trust that your pet will receive attentive, compassionate, and responsible care throughout their stay.
“Rajah was very accommodating, even though my schedule was not exact since my plane was delayed. I really appreciate her understanding and patience. I’m booking again with her for the 9th.”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was young and have experience taking care of a variety of breeds. We have a safe, caring environment for pups that will make them feel like they are at home! My husband works from home during the week, and at least one of us is home on the weekends. We have flexible schedules that fit with a variety of pet care needs. We have a Shih Tzu, Woodson, that stays on our main floor with us most times. We do not have a fenced in yard, so we let him out on a leash. We live in a small neighborhood with little traffic. It is ideal for taking dogs on walks, and our neighbors either leash their dogs or have electric fences. Very safe!
“Larisa is truly a great option for those looking to board their dog. She is willing to go above and beyond to accommodate any of your dogs needs. We love the peace of mind and excellent quality of care Larisa provides.”

“Highly recommend Ashleigh! I received daily updates with pictures and they seemed right at home. I don’t think my dogs wanted to leave! It’s relieving to find someone trustworthy, who shows a true love for dogs!”

“We are so happy with finding Jordan! Our lab looked so happy in all of the pics - we were afraid he wouldn’t want to come home! We will definitely be booking with Jordan again! He was super flexible and a great communicator. Highly recommend!”

About: I have a four year old dog who I love and cherish. I’ve grown up around cats and other animals and have always had a love for animals. I work part-time and I also attend college. My schedule is pretty limited at the moment and I would need at least two-weeks in advance for a sitting job. I will treat the pets in my home like my own. I will take them for walks and play with them. They will be allowed on furniture and I will give them treats.

“Alex was great! He was very communicative about my pets and let me know what time he was arriving and leaving each day. He made sure our boy cat got his medicine and was really good about getting our picky cat to eat away from the others. He sent pictures each day, which was very comforting. He also brought in packages from our mail securely in the house, which was extra helpful.”

“Did excellent going out of the way through out the day to check on the cats for a few hours! Kept up with communication and sent many pictures and videos that we really appreciated!”

About: My entire life I’ve had the blessing to care for pets. From my Rottweiler Roxie, to my sweet kitty Nala, I’ve learned what to look for to provide the best care to my animals. I’m hoping to work most days after 3pm but no later than 10pm. I have some flexibility on most weekends. Would prefer mornings during the weekend but I am flexible. I have a fenced in yard that my cat likes to explore in. I also have a laundry room that can be used to separate my cat from any of your animals if needed.

Our pack leader Austin has been an amateur mush dog trainer for two years with plans to compete in 2026. He is great with dogs of all sizes and has a heart for all breeds. My schedule is flexible with advance notice, but for our daily schedule I do biking with my husky, playtime in the back yard, and the pups nap or have hangout time in the dog den! Within the dog area is a finished basement and den if dogs need to be separated. At this time, I have 2 crates of different sizes for use if needed or desired. About: I am not your typical pet-sitter. I have spent my entire life caring for all types of animals. My first job was at a pet store learning the skills of working with animals and their people. After college I worked as a zookeeper where I cared for everything from mealworms all the way to rhinos. Specialized care was the name of the game there and I was able to recognize the smallest details on how to improve my work with exotics. Then I was led into the world of shelter work. Where I studied pet behavior and early signs of stress and how enrichment can help save lives. Many animals coming into the shelter would need some form of medication as well. I have a skillset of administering medications and making sure the animals actually receive their meds. Lastly, I was a dog training apprentice. I was able to form bonds with dogs that most people wouldn't come near. I can read body language well and know how to show dogs respect. I aim to be your go-to pet-sitter where you can actually enjoy your trip. I will make your pet my priority. I have an excellent ability to find balance in my schedule. You can trust that your pet is cared for how you want them to be. I have quite a few pets in my home and all are well cared for. I will offer the same care to the animals you care for. I will ask for detailed instructions and follow your schedule as closely as I can.

About: New to Rover but not new to caring for animals. I pride myself on being reliable, communicative, and attentive to each pet’s routine. I’m a dependable, structured sitter who understands that pets do best when they feel safe, calm, and cared for—just like at home. As a busy mom managing a full household, I naturally bring consistency, patience, and attention to detail into everything I do—including pet care. I’m especially great with dogs who: • prefer routine • have a little anxiety • need calm, steady energy You can expect: ✔ timely communication ✔ daily photo + message updates ✔ a clean, safe, low-stress environment ✔ someone who treats your pet like family—but with structure I know how important it is to trust the person watching your pet, and I take that seriously. My goal is for you to feel completely at ease while you’re away. I’m currently working remotely so I’ll have plenty of companionship for your pet. I walk often myself so I’d be happy to exercise with your pet as well. I have a large yard that is unfenced. I’m open to coming to your home as well. I also have two daughters that are dog lovers that can’t wait to play with and love on your pets!

There is also a spacious dog park outside of the building. Additionally, I also have a 1 year old calico cat. She is very friendly and gets along with other animals.
About: I've taken care of cats for years and I love taking care of dogs as well. My most recent pet is my bunny named Boo! I am a part time online student and work mostly on weekends. My schedule is pretty flexible depending on the level of care your pet needs. I cant currently care for pets in my home, so I would come to your house to visit your pet! We would workout what kind of schedule he/she needs.

“Taylor was amazing! Yesterday was my first time using Rover and I was a little nervous about my pup being home alone... Taylor called me at work (per my request) so that I could go over how to get into my house, etc. and she calmed my nerves too :) when she got there, he had tore up his mattress pad in his kennel- she cleaned it up so that he couldn’t eat it. She then walked him, took pictures for me and played with him enough to tire him out for a bit. She was so good with him anc it was so appreciated! ❤️❤️”

About: I’ve been taking care of friends and family dogs since I was around 16. I love both cats and dogs and I’m great with them. I am available pretty much everyday depending on time and what day. I enjoy caring for animals and believe dogs thrive with consistent attention, daily exercise, and loving care. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or simply keeping pets company, I always make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while their owners are away. I work in a school, so I currently have weekends available and I will have summer available to provide daily walks in a few weeks. Safety and fulfilling needs is my number one priority when I have a pet in my care. I will ensure that walks or visits are safe for your pet and that its needs are being met.
About: Hello and a warm welcome! As a lifelong pet owner myself, I understand that your pets are not just animals—they are loyal companions and cherished members of your family. With over 16 years of experience in reliable pet care, I am committed to providing your furry friends with love, attention, and total peace of mind. From walks and feeding routines to playtime and cuddles, I personalize my care to meet the specific needs of your home and pets. I offer flexible dog walks, drop-in visits, and in-home house sitting at your place. I also have a friendly, gentle 2-year-old pug named Milo! For house-sitting stays, Milo is open to tagging along if your dog enjoys having a social playmate (pending a successful Meet & Greet, of course). Thank you for considering me to care for your pets—I can't wait to become their second best friend! Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions. Pet care is my primary focus, so I have open, full-time availability throughout the week for in-home house sitting, daytime drop-in visits, and daily dog walks. My schedule allows me to dedicate my full attention to your pets and maintain their regular daily routines. I prioritize the safety, comfort, and security of your home and pets. I strictly follow your established feeding schedules, medication needs, and household rules to keep your pets in their normal, stress-free environment while you are away.

She has very few teeth left. He has a sweet dog ,Memphis, who was very good with Buffy too. I would highly recommend Matt to take care of your pet!”

“Hutch received fantastic care from Mariah and Max and definitely made a couple of new 4-legged friends during his stay. They were also very friendly and very flexible when it came to drop-off/pick-up times, which I greatly appreciated. Highly recommend!”

“Ebby loves her stays with Ed! She has the opportunity to play with other dogs and gets so much attention! Ed texted us pics of Ebby while we were gone. It is such a relief to know Ebby is in good hands when we can't have her with us.”
