About: I grew up with cats and have raised two pups since they were around 10 weeks old. I’ve taken them to multiple levels of training classes and groom them at home. We adopted our sweet senior rottie mix, Roary, back in 2023 and our indoor/outdoor kitten, Biscuit, in 2025. I will only care for dogs in my home that get along with children, dogs, and cats so everyone will feel comfortable. If your dog plays well with others, (s)he will be treated as family! I work from home, so I spend the majority of my day at home. Your pet will not be alone for long, if at all. We live on 3 acres and while we don’t have a fenced yard, your pet will spend plenty of time outside (on a leash) and be walked around the yard every few hours. I currently work from home. I will be able to take your pet for multiple walks daily and attend to their needs consistently. Even though I work from home, my time is important. Last minute requests will have a $25 charge added to the booking. I do not have a fenced yard, but I have a good amount of property and will walk your pup throughout the day. If they need more exercise, I do have a long lead I can put them on to play fetch or just run around. I do not allow the pups to be outside unsupervised or unleashed at any time.

I don’t use crates unless the owner requests; and the babies sleep with me! For dogs that might be a bit nervous or crabby away from home, I use lavender and chamomile oils to sooth their nerves. My goal is to love and enjoy your animals and provide them with the best possible and safest environment. I love to take photos & will send lots of pics of your babies while you’re gone. I’ve cared for snakes, lizards, chinchillas, hedgehogs, ferrets, etc. I’ve bottle fed, given injections, and even have given IV fluids to my pets at vet direction. So, animal experience is putting it lightly! I house sit for friends and family frequently, and am looking to expand my services. My oldest pup is a super senior sheltie who needs a little extra love to stay comfortable. I also have a Pyrenees mix with severe storm anxiety that requires medication, so I’m familiar with what that entails. All of my dogs get a kibble diet paired with different supplements based on their individual needs, so I have no problem feeding more complicated diets as instructed. My foxes are primarily raw, and I’ve taken classes on pet nutrition. I’m currently training my red lab pup to be a cardiac alert service prospect, and have gone through maple creek training for obedience and socialization work. I’m constantly studying new techniques and ways to work with animals to keep them healthy and well rounded! My schedule now requires dogs to be left alone for around 6-8 hours a day, as I have to be able to care for my struggling pup. I am able to still do overnights, and weekends! Simply cannot do 24/7 stays. I’m comfortable walking or supervising your dog in a fenced yard, to potty. I can give medications and supplements as directed, to help keep your pet comfortable. If it’s a breed that requires brushing and maintaining while you’re gone? I’m comfortable doing it to prevent matting. Having so many different breeds dogs and cats of my own, under my belt, and having worked with so many others? I’m pretty comfortable with all pets. I’m working on receiving pet CPR classes, as well!

I’ve been walking dogs since I was 12 and have experience with both cats and dogs since before I can remember.
