About: I've cared for both healthy cats and cats with underlying conditions. For 10 years I had a cat that was diabetic that I had to administer insulin to. My current cat is 15 and requires a lot of love and attention.My cat Mabel is a rescued kitten/ cat almost 16 years ago on Halloween night while coming home from work , about 4 cars ahead of me something went flying out the window . I was able to stop and pull over due to not having other cars behind me . It was very cold that night and the sun was just starting to set . I got out of my car and looked around for a few minutes but didn't see anything and I got ready to leave I hear faint cry and I turned and looked down into some tall weeds and there she was , this poor malnourished kitten crying for help . To make a long story short I got her home and the day my wife and I took her to vet . They kept her for 3 days running ivs into her . We able to come and after 3 days thinking she wasn't going make it. And here she is still with after such a traumatic start to her life . I am very grateful to have Mabel as my best friend and wouldn't trade for the world . I love you very much Mabel .

My fosters vary from carrying for pregnant dogs, to puppies, to seniors. I have done it all. I am currently able to work from home most of the time so I am available all week. I'm really looking forward to seeing Greta get even more comfortable there, and it just felt like the right fit. I really trusted that Natalie would use good judgement if any issues were to arise, and they actually live a couple doors down from a vet. I could tell Natalie was confident in this role, my dog felt safe and cared for, and I could enjoy my time knowing that she was in capable hands. Greta was so calm when I picked her up, when normally she seems a little frantic to be back with me (even at my mom's)-- if you're looking for a chill place for your pet to feel at ease, this is it. Natalie also asked a lot of important questions when I dropped off Greta which made it clear she was thinking ahead and trying to create an environment that my girl could be happy in.
