About: I have loved animals from a very young age, convincing my parents to get me my own dog when I was 10 years old. Her name was Zoey! I trained her myself, and she was my best friend. Not long after that, I began dog sitting for friends and eventually also spent time cat sitting and taking care of animals like chickens and bunnies. I adore pets of all shapes and sizes, and I understand entirely the immense value they have in our lives. I want nothing more than to make you feel safe allowing me to care for your best friends. I am occupied from 8am to 6pm Monday through Friday, but I am free most weekends and available to care for pets in the evenings. I make sure all animals are well fed and watered as fits their schedule. Also, I understand the importance of activity and quality time and make sure to play with them, take them on regular walks, and give them lots of love.

(I had five, but I very sadly lost my dear girl, Rita, to cancer last year ❤️). I love my kitties so much that I literally have two of their portraits tattooed on my arm. They're my entire world. He came by twice a day, sent me photos and videos every visit, and never hesitated to check in if he had questions. His communication was fantastic, and he totally put my mind at ease. However, my schedule is highly flexible, minimizing the time they are left alone. Cats: Cats may be left unsupervised in a designated, pet-safe room with regular check-ins. Handling Aggressive or Special Needs Pets I have extensive experience with fearful, reactive, and aggressive pets, but clear and honest communication is essential: Cats: I am comfortable handling feral or aggressive cats and will take the necessary time to build trust. I can administer medication as needed, but I require full transparency about their behavior to ensure safety for all. Dogs: I can accommodate dogs with minor behavioral challenges, such as leash reactivity or mild anxiety. However, for safety reasons, I cannot accept: Dogs over 50 lbs who are not at least moderately leash-trained. Dogs requiring a muzzle or choke collar in public settings. Dogs with severe aggression or unpredictable behavior. Double-Booking Policy For the safety and well-being of all pets, I do not double-book boarding, daycare, or walks unless all parties have given consent and a meet-and-greet has taken place. If multiple dogs are staying in my home at the same time, a meet-and-greet is required. Even if the dogs get along, they will not be left alone together unless securely crated. Cats and dogs boarding in my home simultaneously will be kept in separate areas with no contact.

About: I've been around and have helped care for dogs and cats all shapes and sizes. Each one I've personally owned are a part of the family! I would take care of your fur baby like I'd want mine taken care of. I am a homeschooling mom which means your fur baby will be kept company while in my care. During the school year, on Saturdays, we sometimes will have sporting events to go to, as well as some week nights we will go to extracurricular practices but never gone for long! I currently have Midland's rail trail right in my back yard for nice walks if that's something you would like done. When we move in March we will have a large open park right in our backyard! We have a sweet Goldador at home that loves playmates and also two cats that sleep the day away. My three kids (ages 8 - 13) have been shown from the beginning how to respect and love animals and they will be a wonderful addition to keeping your fur babies feeling loved and cared for!

About: I've owned pets of all kinds starting as a child! Animals bring me incredible joy, and I'd love to bring that joy into your home when I watch yours! I've owned, rescued and loved cats, dogs, rabbits, ducks, raccoons, birds, and squirrels! I currently own 4 cats, all of which were rescues. Two of them brother and sister who I hand raised and bottle fed. I also have 3 dogs, A gaggle a blue heelers, so I'm especially used to high energy pups. I'm experienced in giving all kinds of medications, to both dogs and cats. In fact, one of my own kitties has kidney disease, and I've been managing his treatment and care 100% alone. Cooking him three meals a day, hand feeding, administering any medications needed, and even giving him at-home subcutaneous fluids. But as always, let's please communicate about the details of your pet beforehand if any special care is needed so we can make sure we're a great fit for eachother! I'm a corporate professional who is very fortunate to work from home, and has really great control of their schedule! So I can very likely work my schedule around your needs! For those whose pets I will be dropping in on to feed or walk, I take great care in making sure instructions are followed, and all the needs of your pets are met! For the kitties that stay with me, I have a completely separate spot in my house that I will have them stay in, since I have kitties of my own. The previous owner of my house actually had this section designed as an in-home salon, so it has a completely separate entrance into my home. As cat owners, we know how sensitive and stressed they can get, and introducing cats to other new cats just adds more unnecessary stress. This separate entrance and room allows for a stress free, safe environment that's large and clean to play and hang in, all to themselves! They will have their own sanitized, fresh litter, litterbox at the ready for them. No need to have to haul your own supplies here! Just bring any food and treats (or any special toys or blankets that you feel might be good things for them to enjoy their stay better, or be more at ease!) Your pets must be fully vaccinated in order to come stay, so please be ready to show proof of up to date vaccinations prior to any boarding bookings. This is for the safety of both your fur babies and mine.
