“Dan and Kelly were amazing with our two dogs!! This is our first time using Rover and also our first time leaving our pups with someone who wasn’t our family, they are 8 & 9. Though we were fairly short notice, Dan helped walk us through the Rover process, allowed us to do a meet and greet ahead of time, and was very flexible with drop off and pick up. Not knowing how our dogs would do as a first time away from us with non-family, there was a lot of anxiety on our side and it all was put to rest with videos and pictures of our pups having a great time there! There’s no doubt our dogs have some quirks but Dan and Kelly took amazing care of them and made them/us feel very welcome! Their house is very pet friendly with the toys, beds, and large fenced in backyard. So grateful to have found them, and strongly recommend them for your furry family members!”

About: I’ve been taking care of our 8 animals since I was 8 when I turned 15 I got my own puppy and potty trained him myself and taught him tricks myself. I am very responsible with dogs and feel I would be a good fit for you :) I am currently am on summer break on college and will be available 24/7 for your animals needs. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, currently have a rescue that is a Cur/Dalmatian mix. I fostered a German Shepherd and just found him his forever home! My previous pup was a pure bred red-nose pit! I work from home so am available for all needs! And yes, my dog does sleep on my bed! Lots of outdoor toys to tire them out! I have a fenced in yard and a “puppy pool” for those hot days! I live in a quiet neighborhood with an excellent dog walking route, even have a neighbor who put out dog treats in a mailbox for frequent walkers!

I was also the proud owner of 4 chickens when I lived in Florida. They were the greatest entertainment! By the time I moved to Michigan, there was sadly only one remaining chicken, I didn't want to confuse her with the weather change, so of course she became a house chicken. She got to live her last two years living inside the house, cozy as can be, with me, my dog & cat. We all loved it! Long story short, I'm also available for some farm animal sitting. About: I’ve been helping my parents raise dogs since I was around 10 years old, our first dog being a collie we rescued as she wasn’t being treated well with her initial owners. We took her in and got her cleaned up, took care of the fleas she had, found her a good diet, and gave her lots of love and attention through it all. We took her on camping trips, out on the water to go fishing, out on walks and to get pup cups at the ice cream shop, her favorite place being my granny’s house. Alongside her, we raised three more dogs when they were puppies, each one two years apart. 2 of them are Australian shepherds, and one is a husky, all girls and grew to form their own little pack, respecting each other’s place and playing happily in a big fenced in back yard. We supported our collie till her last breath as she was elderly, and even as she was so old, she always had her usual, laid back and quirky personality. Even now, I continue to help my parents take care of our dogs, as they’re not just pets, they’re our family, our fur babies, even in they’re old stages of life, they’ll always be our little babies in our hearts. So rest assured, your fur baby will be 110% safe and cared for with me, maybe even a bit spoiled! I’m sticking with Rover full time for a while! I’ve tried Camp Bow Wow, and found it isn’t the right work environment for me. I like providing services through Rover as I can better manage my schedule and get to know your fur babies more personally! With specific instructions written on paper, I have no issues accommodating to your pet’s needs in your home! I’m respectful during visits in others homes, treating them as my own and keeping spaces clean and tidy. With proper cleaning tools, I can clean up accidents on hard surfaces or rugs, I may need a demonstration on how to use a specific cleaning machine or vacuum depending on how complicated it is. I’m not allergic to any animal, or any breed, so pet hair doesn’t bother me! If need be, I am able to administer oral medications with proper instruction and demonstration. On walks I make sure to keep dogs close to me and away from the road, I carry doggy bags, and on hot days, I’ll carry a little folded up bowl that I can poor water in, so your baby stays hydrated!

I look forward to potentially working with you! I am fortunate in that I have a fairly flexible routine currently. This allows for pet care jobs and responsibilities to be easier to take on. I am happy to watch your animals in your home if all checks out. What might it look like? I could stop by once or twice a day (‘depending) to make sure your pet(s) are well and everything is running smoothly. For example, I just wrapped up pet sitting for someone I know in the area & she gave me a spare key for her place. This is just what made sense & what she was comfortable with at the time. She left some realistic instructions for me & all went well. It was a win-win situation. You just need help with dog walking? I am happy to consider that as well!

About: I know dogs very well. I used to pet sit when I was young and still do. I’ve had many dogs a few cats and some fish. I am currently not working at a place with a schedule. I have no human children. No school, my schedule is open. I have time to meet pets needs. I have a nice yard on the lake, I leash up the fur babies and walk about a mile twice a day. Trips out the yard I’m between. I have an electric fence I haven’t put in yet.
About: I have been a lifelong pet owner and love dogs. I have taken care of lots of dogs. Walking them, feeding them, brushing them, and most of all giving attention and love to them so they do not feel anxious or sad when their family is away. I am currently working very part time and would be available weekends or weekdays and also overnights. To give your dogs the best love and support I have a big yard but it is not fenced in so best to be on a leash at my house. I am also able to crate if need be.
About: Since I was five years old there’s always been a dog in my house. Currently I have a 7 year old rescue French bulldog named Lady. She came to us with multiple medical concerns and I feel very comfortable providing attention and care to dogs! I have experience dog sitting for multiple friends and I am looking to branch out. I’m currently at home full time and am able to have a flexible schedule to meet pets’ needs! Our dog Lady likes to go to our apartment dog run a few times a day. With the summer heat and her short snout, she can’t go for long walks, but she loves an afternoon nap. During this time I would be able to spend some solo time on a nice walk with another dog if they wanted! We have a fenced in dog run at the apartment and grassy areas nearby to explore. Our dog Lady loves company and playing - Especially with all her toys! We do have a crate for Lady when we leave the house. Dogs are allowed on the couch and on the bed. We have a long hallway that’s perfect for playing fetch too.

“Dan and Kelly were amazing with our two dogs!! This is our first time using Rover and also our first time leaving our pups with someone who wasn’t our family, they are 8 & 9. Though we were fairly short notice, Dan helped walk us through the Rover process, allowed us to do a meet and greet ahead of time, and was very flexible with drop off and pick up. Not knowing how our dogs would do as a first time away from us with non-family, there was a lot of anxiety on our side and it all was put to rest with videos and pictures of our pups having a great time there! There’s no doubt our dogs have some quirks but Dan and Kelly took amazing care of them and made them/us feel very welcome! Their house is very pet friendly with the toys, beds, and large fenced in backyard. So grateful to have found them, and strongly recommend them for your furry family members!”
