“Luke and his family went above and beyond caring for our Yogi. They have a large fenced in backyard and a host of other animal friends that Yogi fell in love with. Our Yogi has a tendency to pee on himself vs the ground and they bathed him before pickup. My toddler wouldn’t stop asking us to smell the dog on the way home. Thank you Luke and family! We will use you every time we need to head West to Wisconsin.”

“When I came across Rover and what it was all about, I was positive that this would be a site I would never use. Allowing someone else to care for my dog in their home, was an uncomfortable concept to me. However, when I had a vacation scheduled, and my go-to dog boarding center was booked, Rover was the only option. Clara's name was mentioned to me by another Rover user who was not able to dog sit my exact dates needed. When I messaged Clara, she replied within 5 minutes saying "YES! I will take care of your dog." No questions asked. She lives about 30 minutes from where I am located in Kzoo, but trust me when I say she is worth the drive. Her house is immaculate, and she has other wonderful pups, a horse and great fenced in greenspace outside. We received pictures and a brief summary of our dog every day. Throughout my vacation, I never worried once about my dog. Clara's first impression made me feel like my dog was immediately apart of her pack. I 1000% recommend Clara for boarding.”

“Debbie watched my dogs for three weeks while I was in the middle of moving out of state. My older dog wasn’t doing well, and my younger dog has tons of energy—I didn’t want to stress either of them with all the commotion of the move. Debbie is such an amazing sitter. She took them for several walks a day around the beautiful lake near her home and along some great neighborhood trails. Freya absolutely loved it there. When Odin started getting sick, she didn’t hesitate to help—she took him to the vet for me and cared for my sweet boy until I was able to pick him up a few days later. I’m so grateful for the love and attention she gave my fur babies. Thank you so much, Debbie. You are truly amazing. I highly recommend this sitter!”

“I think that Maggie and Luddy had a great stay. It was so nice to have the photos of them enjoying their time with Julie and Joe. They seemed to be quite comfortable in their new surroundings by the time I picked them up the next day. In the past, Luddy had had a sitter at the house, but this was Maggie's (10-month-old puppy) first experience being away from home overnight. Since I presently do not have a fenced yard, it was great for them to have access to a yard for play without having to be leashed. Julie and Joe seem to truly enjoy having dogs visit with them, and they take good care of them and help them to feel at home. I am so grateful.”

“Elizabeth was absolutely amazing with our dog! From the moment we dropped him off, we knew he was in great hands. He had such a wonderful stay, made so many new friends, and came home happy and well cared for. Elizabeth kept us updated with pictures and videos throughout his stay, which gave us so much peace of mind and comfort while we were away. It was clear how much she genuinely cared for him and treated him like one of her own. We never had to worry for a second knowing he was with her. We couldn’t recommend Elizabeth more and will definitely be booking with her again in the future!”

“Jenai and Sean were wonderful! This was my first time to let someone I don't know take care of Baxter. They kept me updated and sent several pictures during my trip which really eased my mind. It looks like he loved playing with their dog in their big yard. He was exhausted when I got him home! I highly recommend this couple and will use them again in the future.”

“Kari did a great job watching our Golden Retriever. She had great communication and sent plenty of pictures. I highly recommend her for your dog care needs. I will definitely be a returning customer.”
“Trina is the best! I am a new dog mom with a small rambunctious puppy so I was very nervous to leave her with anyone. I had a friend bail on me last second to watch her so I was absolutely in a pinch and Trina was quick to respond and open to a visit before hand. She made the whole process very relieving and sent update pictures through the night. My night ran later than expected and Trina told me not to worry and to enjoy my night, so sweet! I would recommend her to everyone!”

“First time using this app or service and I reaaalllyyyyyyyy hit the jackpot for my first time!! Kathy is AMAZING, and so sweet and sent the best pictures and videos. I know my Puppy will miss her so much !! Thank you Kathy 🤎🤎😘”

“Kim sent us pictures everyday helping us to see our pets interacting with the family and their dogs. Her communication helped us enjoy our vacation without worry and I am quite sure my two labradors had a fun vacation as well. When we came home I am sure my dogs missed their new friends. Thank you so much Kim and family!”

“Beth did a great job caring for Finley. He came home happy and exhausted! He enjoyed the freedom of her fenced in yard and also snuggles with Beth. He made new friends in the other dogs Beth was caring for, and Beth did a great job making sure they all got along well. Beth was flexible and communicated well both before and during Finley's stay. We would definitely have Finley stay with Beth again in the future!”

“Our dog Oliver had an amazing stay with Pamela! Drop off, pick up and communication with Pamela is all top notch. Very trustworthy person to leave your pet with. Will board with Pamela again.”

“Janice helped us to take care of our dog during Christmas and New Year holidays, so we were able to take vacation. Every day Janice kept us posted about how our dog is doing and sent us his photos and videos. She took long walks with our baby, and he was glad to become a friend to Janice's dog. They played really good with each other.”

“As always, Tasha takes such great care of our doggy, Daisy! We receive lots of pictures and videos throughout her stay and she keeps us up-to-date on how Daisy is doing with the other friends there. We appreciate Tasha so much!”

“We are so lucky to have found Heather! She gives daily updates of our pets and sends videos and pictures, which makes our time away a lot less difficult. She truly cares about our pets!”

“Natasha was an amazing with our dog! This was our first time using Rover and she took such good care of her. She sent us pictures and updates throughout the weekend. I could tell that our dog was happy and safe. We are so grateful to be able to leave our dog with such a kind, friendly and experienced dog sitter.”

“Becky is wonderful and took such great care of my pup, Bailey! She was attentive and responsive and sent many photos while I was gone. I definitely recommend and will use her services again!”

About: I've been 'animalish' since I could walk. With that comes a life long desire to interact with and appreciate the special animals that cross my path. I have worked in the medical field for over 20 years, including 10 years in veterinary settings. I have cared for many pets, from horses to goldfish at my own home as well. I feel comfortable caring for aged pets or pets with special medical needs. If you have a rabbit, guinea pig, or another furry friend who is not a cat or dog, please ask about daycare for them as well. In addition to our barnyard and pastures, we have a large fenced dog-yard behind the house surrounded by trees and grass. I can provide a crate if one is needed for small or medium-sized dogs. We have two mature cats that also live with us, one outside and one in the house. Unless you want to include chickens, my husband and I are the only two-leggers. Our upper and lower levels can be separated if any disputes over space seem likely. There are private trails on the property for walking in the fresh air. Working from home, I will be available most days and times. Your pup can expect a lot of face time if they want that or a quiet space to take an afternoon nap. I have flexible time and can also set up a schedule for longer durations. In addition to our barnyard and pastures, we have a large fenced dog-yard behind the house surrounded by trees and grass. About: I adopted my kitty Grim in 2024, and he’s been my best friend ever since. I thought being a pet parent would be straightforward, but unfortunately, Grim has chronic urinary issues that have presented new challenges for us. Despite this, I’m well-versed in all aspects of cat care, including administering medications, providing love, and ensuring proper cleaning and care.
About: I have a little self-proclaimed homestead with 2 German Shepherds, 2 indoor cats, 3 outdoor barn cats, chickens, and honeybees. My dogs love to run and play outside, so I provide toys to keep them engaged. They love it when I chase them around the yard and play too! They're not big fans of bathtime but we've got to keep them clean! My cats are very high maintenance but I wouldn't have it any other way. Our outdoor kitties are very adventurous! I enjoy finding toys and food they'll love and grooming them. My furbabies require a lot of love and attention, I adore them all and would love to spread some TLC out to the cats, dogs, and any critters in my community. I love caring for all animals! I am constantly caring for my own fur babies morning and night, but I would love to help you out on the weekends as my availability allows! When I am at a clients home, I really like to respect their wishes and care for their animals as they would. I try to go over as many details as possible as far as where they can go on the property and if they prefer the pup to be on a leash or not.

I am a single mom of a 7 year old so excited to take on extra responsibility. Dogs are our family. They need to be treated in a loving, kind, gentle manner. We also own 27 chickens and are willing to do drop in visits for chickens if needed as you go on vacation. My son is a great help with feeding, watering, collecting eggs, and light chicken coop cleaning. I work morning to early afternoon. I am usually home by 1 or 2 p.m. After I take care of my pets I am available to care for yours. I have a fenced in backyard. If the weather is extremely hot out I don't keep the dogs outside longer than after they do their business. I am a kind, hearted animal lover at heart. Your pet will get a lot of attention. I am a dog groomer as well.

“Debbie did a great job watching our mini golden doodle while we were having trees cut down. Rosa warmed up to her quickly. Will be bringing Rosa over to her house for some overnights this summer.”

About: Big or small, I love them all! 💕 I’ve had pets since I was a small child. I’ve cared for sick puppies & kittens, elderly cats & dogs. I have 3 years experience working at a pet bathing company. There I learned a lot about proper hygiene of various breeds and how to safely handle aggressive pets. I also have 400+ hours of volunteer horse care at an equine therapy barn. I walk my own dog daily and he is high energy. I’m always in search of play pals for him to burn energy with. Let us walk your pup! I love to snuggle my pets & make sure they are clean and bug free. I can bathe and lightly groom your pets when needed. I can’t wait to meet your fur babies. ❤️
“I work from home, but had to travel for an all day training event. Luckily, Kim was able to keep my two Frenchies for the day. She sent so many great photos and updated me on how they were doing throughout the day. They came home happy, exhausted boys and snoozed the night away. Leaving our pups with anyone is such a very stressful event for us as our boys are family. Kim made the process less worrisome for us by sending the pictures, updates and quickly responding to my texts. We will be back! ?”

“Can’t say enough nice things about the experience! Jina was very kind and kept good communication with me and even sent some pics during my boys first time being dog-sat. Good location on the way to south haven beach!”

About: We had a small dog when our children were out of high school and our world revolved around him. We miss him a lot since he crossed the rainbow bridge but I am lucky to be a grandma to 5 dogs—a Saint Bernard, a chihuahua mix, 2 terrier mixes and a German Shepherd mix. All rescue dogs with some quirky personality traits that make them a challenge and fun. I have also cared for my sister’s senior Maltese and a neighbor’s senior Boxer. Dogs are my favorite animal and I just love spending time with them! I recently retired from being a paraprofessional at a local school so I have a pretty flexible schedule. My husband works on Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays so those days I am much more available but he is flexible if I’m working or have something scheduled. We live out in the country and have a fenced in yard so dogs can play and have some fun time running free. Our neighborhood is safe to walk dogs (we used to walk our little guy around the block daily—1 1/4 miles) and there are also 2 parks close by that we could walk if they seem bored with the block.

About: I bring over 15 years of experience as a puppy trainer for Canine Companions for Independence, where I helped raise and train service dog puppies with structure, consistency, and patience. That experience gave me a deep understanding of obedience training, behavior development, socialization, and building trust with dogs of all temperaments. I’ve also had dogs and cats my entire life, so caring for animals isn’t just something I do — it’s who I am. I’m comfortable reinforcing training, working with puppies, and providing gentle, attentive care for senior pets. I understand routines, communication, and the importance of making pets feel safe and secure while their owners are away. What sets me apart is reliability, experience, and treating every pet like family — with structured care, attention to detail, and consistent updates for peace of mind. As a stay-at-home dad, pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. During the school year, I have flexibility and availability throughout the day for drop-ins, walks, feedings, and check-ins. Summers are even more open, allowing me to offer consistent, reliable care with a flexible schedule. Because I’m home-based, I’m able to prioritize punctuality, routine, and communication. Pet care isn’t something I try to squeeze in — it’s something I can intentionally plan my day around to ensure your pets receive dependable, attentive care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my priority is keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow feeding schedules carefully, provide exercise or playtime based on their needs, clean litter boxes or pick up waste promptly, and reinforce any household rules or training already in place. I understand that pets feel most comfortable in their own environment, so I focus on consistency, patience, and attentiveness. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away. With over 15 years of experience training puppies for Canine Companions for Independence and a lifetime of owning both dogs and cats, I’m highly observant of behavior and body language, ensuring your pet feels safe, secure, and well cared for at all times.

Whether it’s early morning, or late evening, I can make that work for you. I will treat your home as if it is my own home. I will clean up after your pet and myself. I can administer medications (if needed), I will feed as you need me to; and I promise to give your pet lots of love and cuddles.
“From the minute our dog met Morgan I could tell things would go well. Morgan was very timely and sent pictures and details about each visit with our dog Leo. I was out of town and when I asked if she could do a couple of extra things to care for Leo she happily agreed. She is very trustworthy, attentive to details and caring. I look forward to having her help with Leo again in the future.”

About: I've had animals since I was little and am comfortable and experienced with a wide variety of animals. I have two dogs and two barn cats and love spending time with as many animals as I can! I am the go to pet sitter among all our friends and have had many jobs watching dogs and cats. I have trained all my own animals as well as helping friends train theirs. One of my dogs is a senior and I have had experience with taking care of other senior pups! I have also had seasonal work on small hobby farms and have worked with animals including goats, chickens, ducks, donkeys, horses, sheep, alpacas and pigs. I'm available for day jobs, check in jobs, or watching your dogs in my home. I get home around 3:30 on Tuesday-Thursday and work from home on Monday's and Friday's so I have a lot of time to play with all the fur babies! My husband, who is also a dog lover, is home in the evenings and the weekends to also love on your pet and make sure they get all the attention they deserve and need! If you're boarding or doing daycare at our house, while we don't have a fenced yard, we have a full acre and have two friendly dogs that love playing with new friends and help keep them in our yard! I can also take dogs out on a leash if needed to keep them safe. We have plenty of space in our house to crate your pet or to give them their own space away from our dogs if they need a little break. I do require a meet and greet with my pups to make sure they are a good fit together! When taking care of pets in your home, I am able to bring one of my dogs to play if they work well together and if you want them to get a little extra energy out.

“Kaylee was an amazing sitter for my two dogs. During their stay, one of my dogs got an ear infection and she was willing to bring him to his vet so he could be seen which isn’t close to her house. She sent daily updates and had great communication. I would highly recommend her as a sitter for your pups.”

“Hanna and her family made Charlie feel right at home! They accepted his stinky shoe fetish and his desire for hands constantly petting with absolute open arms (his favorite). Her two fur babies welcomed him and left him absolutely exhausted and maybe a little depressed that there’s no one to play with in his own backyard. We will definitely be rebooking again! Thank you!”
