“I cannot say enough about the awesome puppy-sitting experience I had with Stephanie and Scott (and their super great dog, Rosie)!! I am new to the Rover experience and had to leave my 13-week old puppy and was nervous about leaving. From the start, Scott and Steph put me at ease and even offered a meet up beforehand so we and our dogs could meet. I was updated daily, sometimes more, with video and photos and I could see immediately that my puppy was in the best hands I could imagine; it was like a vacation for my puppy, too! They really take an interest in making it a great experience and environment for their pet guest. Rosie was very gentle and tolerant of a very active, playful puppy and Sophie and Rosie are now best pals! We will definitely use Scott and Steph again without any hesitation!”

“Roxanne was an amazing caregiver for our lab with separation anxiety. She went above and beyond - took him on outings, sent updates, and made him part of the family for 5 days. About: The most experience I have with cats is from having two of my own. I raised one since she was a few months old or so. She’s about 4 years old now. I have roughly 4 years or more of cat experience. I still have more to learn with cats and I’m learning every day with my cats at home.
About: Hi, I’m Aubrey 👋 I offer calm, attentive, in-home pet care designed to help your pets feel safe, comfortable, and completely at ease while you’re away. I specialize in multi-pet households and have a natural ability with animals who need a little extra patience—whether that’s senior dogs, shy personalities, or pets who are used to a slower, more grounded environment. • 10+ years of experience with a wide range of temperaments • Especially attuned to anxious, sensitive, or senior pets • Experienced with multi-pet homes and complex routines • Respectful, clean, and mindful in clients’ homes • Consistent updates so you always feel connected and reassured 📸 I’m not just here to “watch” your pets—I create a steady, comforting presence so their routine and emotional world stay intact. Pet care is a central part of my daily life, and I intentionally keep my schedule spacious so I can be fully present with the pets in my care. I prioritize consistency, calm routines, and quality time—especially for pets who thrive on familiarity and one-on-one attention. All bookings, communication, and payments are handled through Rover for ease and peace of mind 🐾 Your pet’s emotional and physical safety are my top priorities. I’m especially mindful with: • Senior pets who need slower pacing or extra care • Shy or anxious animals who take time to warm up • Maintaining your pet’s exact routine, environment, and comfort cues I approach each home with deep respect—keeping things clean, calm, and consistent so your pet feels secure and your space is cared for.

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover who knows that cats thrive on routine, patience, and a calm environment. Whether your cat is playful and social or prefers to observe from a cozy hiding spot, I’ll respect their personality and care for them at their own pace. During each visit, I’ll make sure your cat has fresh food and water, a clean litter box, playtime (if they’re interested), and plenty of love and attention. I’ll also keep an eye on their overall well being and let you know if I notice anything unusual. I understand how much peace of mind matters while you’re away, so I’ll send regular updates and photos so you can see how your fur baby is doing. My goal is to make your absence as stress free as possible, for both you and your cat.

“Lindsey was absolutely amazing. I had a suprise visit from my family on a friday evening and wanted to bring them into Traverse City for the day, Lindsey responded first thing in the morning and was very accomadating. About: ’ve had hands-on experience caring for animals for many years. Since around age 12, I’ve regularly helped care for pets belonging to friends, family, and neighbors. During that time I’ve provided feeding, walking, bathing, pet sitting, playtime, and general daily care. I also have experience helping with basic training and working with dogs who were preparing for adoption, which helped me learn how to work with different personalities, energy levels, and comfort needs. Most recently, I’ve been volunteering at a local animal shelter for over 4 months. In this role, I assist with a variety of responsibilities including walking dogs, bathing, playtime and enrichment, administering medications when needed, transporting animals, and helping with overall animal care at the shelter. Working with animals in both home and shelter environments has given me experience with pets of different temperaments, and I always focus on making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always do my best to provide reliable, attentive care. If you’re looking for someone dependable who genuinely cares about animals, I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pet! I’m currently in an on call sort of situation, so my schedule is very flexible! I ask that we at least get a few days advance notice due to a fluctuating schedule. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs so I can provide care that feels familiar and stress-free for them. Through my experience caring for pets and volunteering at a local animal shelter, I’ve worked with animals of many different temperaments and understand the importance of patience, awareness, and safe handling. I always make sure pets are secure on walks, monitored during playtime, and given plenty of attention and care. I’m also happy to follow any specific instructions you have for feeding, medications, routines, or training. I believe communication is very important, so I’m glad to send updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away.

I love to walk and hike, live close to the TART trail, and would enjoy the company of a furry friend. Walking trails are just outside my door, and I have space for crates and your furry friend's toys or their own special bed and blanket if preferred for their care and comfort.

“Kathryn really got me out of a bind as she was able to walk Maggie twice on short notice. She made sure that I was comfortable with her by taking time to come over and meet the day before. She kept me updated with pictures and I can’t recommend her enough.”

About: I am experienced walking and taking care of many different breeds, including a Weimaraner, Husky, German Shorthaired Pointer, Corgi, and a Chihuahua. I have also house sat for dogs, cats, and rabbits. One of the dogs I've watched had a history of seizures, so I learned how to administer their daily medication. I'm very punctual and I love animals. I've walked dogs in a lot of different weather conditions, and have no problem walking your dog regardless of what weather Michigan decides to throw at everyone. I look forward to getting some valuable time outdoors, and getting to take care of some adorable animals. I have a fairly open schedule and will do my best to accommodate clients. I am available to work early, late, and overnight as needed. I will take care of pets in their home so that they can be the most comfortable. I will follow the schedule for walks and food that their owner provides.
“Michelle was great with our 1 year old terrier. We loved the pictures and the updates on when he was going out and coming back from his walk. We look forward to having her walk our dog in the future! Top-notch!”

“So sweet we originally booked her for the weekend that ended up not needing her and she was so understanding and flexible. Very good at communications and responsive. Sent photos too! 10 out of 10 would use her again”

About: Hi! My name is Alecia and I am a lifelong animal lover and a mama of 2 (plus my own furbaby - Bailey!) who understands how important it is to know your pets are safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I provide dependable, patient care and will treat your pets like they’re part of my own family. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, cuddling on the couch, or just keeping a familiar routine, I’m happy to tailor my care to their individual personality and needs. I am comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes and can provide regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, feeding, medication (if needed), and lots of affection. I’ll also keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you can relax knowing your fur child is in good hands. I am currently self employed and work my own hours and schedule however I choose! So I have the flexibility to be available whenever your fur baby needs care! I treat every pet like they’re part of my family. Before each stay or visit, I take time to learn your pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise, medications, favorite toys, and any special needs or quirks. In my home, pets receive plenty of love, attention, supervised playtime, and a comfortable, clean environment. I have a fully fenced-in yard where dogs can safely run, play, and enjoy fresh air under my supervision. I also make sure they have plenty of opportunities to rest and feel at home. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep their routine as consistent as possible to help them feel safe and comfortable. I’ll provide fresh food and water, walks or playtime, lots of affection (if they enjoy it!), clean up after them, and make sure they receive any medications or special care exactly as instructed. I’ll also send regular photo and text updates so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away. My goal is to provide dependable, loving care that keeps both pets and their owners comfortable and confident.
About: I’m more than a dog sitter 😁 if you want someone who will play, walk, and entertain your dog, you’ve found your match! I’m the dog mom who does everything with her dogs. I have 3of my own large breed dogs, and fostered 12 others with my husband and enjoyed every moment of it! Most of them were under the age of 1 year old, so we did all the potty training, crate training, and basic commands. I exposed them to different environments, other dogs, and taught them a lot during their time with us which was anywhere from a month to 4 months. I’m reliable and really intentional about the care of animals. I love my dogs as if they were my kids and I’d treat yours with the same care! I have a full time job and can only do weekends at this time! I dog sit because I love it and I know how important it is to find someone who will make my dogs feel safe and happy. I intend to do that for those I serve 😊🐶 Note: I generally do not accept requests for house sitting over 3 nights at a time. I love routine and know how animals can thrive in that even when their humans are gone. So I would be happy to keep consistency for your pet if that means being let out at certain times or walked before you get home etc. For doggy daycare: I have a fenced yard and 3 of my own fur babies who love to play with other dogs! I also have a separate gated area in my home if there needs to be separation at times. For House Sitting: (I won’t accept requests over 3 nights). I will follow the owners preferences and safety measures they have in place. I also recommend meet and greets so I understand how you expect things done/handled.

About: I have had animals since I was little and I have been watching my family and friends animals of and on for years. I have had puppies to senior dogs and cats. I'm currently working part time, and a online class. I can work with your animal Thursday after I get done working till Sunday. Maybe other days depending how close you are. I love on your animal like it was my own. I will send pictures of them if you want updates. Follow the directions you give me on what and when you feed them.
About: I have been around animals since a very young age. I grew up having to care for my dogs, cats, horses, cows, and sheep! I participated in 4-H for 10 years showing both cattle and sheep. Throughout high school and college I worked at a doggy day care, that cared for both cats and dogs, either for day visits or overnight stays. I was responsible for making sure the animals were as comfortable as possible. This involved cleaning their kennels daily, feeding, and medications. Later, I worked as a veterinary assistant for 6 months. I have house/dog and cat sat for various friends and family members throughout the years as well. I am very flexible! I am more than happy to stay at your home while pet sitting or simply come by to care for the pet a couple times a day. Open to working with you to figure out the best solution for your pet. Unfortunately my current lease does not allow pets. I am more than happy to work with you and figure out a schedule/plan that would fit your needs! While I am at a clients house I would stay in good communication with them. In the past, I have sent daily pet photos to the client and sending them updates whenever possible.

“My pet had the best of care in this home! From the very beginning, I knew that my dog was comfortable He loved the fenced in backyard along with all the special attention! “Perfect in every aspect. I can tell Ghost really enjoyed himself and I was scared he wouldn't want to come back home from all the fun he was having haha. Great service and look forward to booking them again in the future. Thank you very much! Chris”

“Michelle was so sweet to our elderly blind terrier. She was understanding of his special needs and medications. She was also very flexible with our schedule. Michelle is a great sitter and we will use her whenever our schedules mesh.”

“My dog Wilson had a great time with Angela, her fenced in yard is a huge plus giving him plenty of space to run. She sends pictures every day, and provided a meet and greet prior to the stay to make the stay more comfortable.”
“Caroline was so kind and easy to work with! We were coming from out of town to attend a wedding and it was so wonderful to know that Macy was in good hands for the two days we couldn't have her at the hotel. Macy loved playing with their dogs and enjoyed meeting the pigs and chickens as well :) We highly recommend Caroline and would definitely use her again!”

“Amanda is incredible! We truly have never experienced someone as thoughtful, comprehensive and loving as Amanda. We got sent lots of updates and photos. We know our dog Sadie felt comfortable, loved and happy. We highly recommend Amanda and we will definitely be booking with her again! ❤️”

“Jill is amazing! She has watched Copper now twice and I love her! She sends lots of pictures and is quick to answer when I send a message. I will use her whenever I need a sitter.”

“Roxanne was an amazing caregiver for our lab with separation anxiety. She went above and beyond - took him on outings, sent updates, and made him part of the family for 5 days. Her dog was fantastic with him too. I’m not sure he was that excited to see us when we picked him up! 😂 We’ll definitely send him to “summer camp” at Roxanne’s if we’re in the area again.”

“Lindsay was absolutely fabulous! Our daughter’s wedding was on this day and she stayed with our two dogs at the resort during all of the wedding festivities. She even brought the dogs over for pictures after the ceremony. 5 stars and two huge thumbs up!! If we are ever in that area of Michigan again and need a sitter for our dogs, Lindsey will be the person to call :)”

“Cheryl and Sean were incredible surrogate parents for my puppy Blu while I was away for the weekend! They gave detailed updates on how Blu was doing including adorable highlight collages showing the adventures he was up to. Their communication was prompt and detailed including problem solving when Blu was having some tummy issues. I would 10/10 recommend Cheryl and Sean to take care of your fur babies!”

About: I’ve had my own dog since I was 13, and have always had a dog since. My dog is my baby! One of my favorite pastimes is walking my dogs. I currently have 2 dogs. Fresh water always, lots of love, and good quality food/treats and getting outside for potty breaks are so important to me. I work full time day shift during the week. Weekends and evenings are free for me! I would love to drop in and take care of your pet while your away! Pets like their routines and I am totally respectful of that. I can accommodate their particular needs to keep them safe, happy and well cared for!
“Maggie was truly incredible! She’s the best sitter I have ever used on Rover. She made my nervous dog feel so comfortable and sent regular updates. She even made me a small painting of my dog after watching her for just a weekend. I highly recommend her!”

About: I have grown up with both cats and dogs, and then when I was able to I had two large breeds of my own for many years. Currently, we have a 2-yr old Bernese mountain dog and an older cat at home. I’m a teacher with a very open availability during summer and would love to fill it with taking care of your dogs - any breed but happy to provide confidence for high energy larger breeds. I’m a full-time teacher, so if you’re booking during the summer my availability is pretty widely open to meet your pets needs. If it’s during the school year, the weekends are there for loving your pet. I love to walk and exercise and am happy to take your dog for long walks as needed. Alternatively if they’re at my house, they can play with our Bernese Mountain Dog in the backyard for endless hours! Our yard is fenced in and the gates are always locked.
“Our little dog’s experience with Daniel was excellent. Daniel is warm and loving to his dogs and to visiting dogs as well. His two dogs are friendly, senior and low key. Our dog came home relaxed and clearly well cared for. I would certainly come back!”

About: I started my pet care journey as a dog walker at age 9, and have found great joy in pet sitting over the years. I’ve cared for pets of all sizes, ages and personalities, and now specialize in in-home boarding where your pets are treated like part of our family. My home offers fenced acreage for safe, supervised running and play, along with structured walks and trail runs for those who need a little extra. After playtime, there’s always a warm bed, or a cozy spot on the couch, waiting for naps and snuggles. With degrees in Wildlife Biology and Zoology, I bring not only a deep love for animals but also a professional understanding of their behavior, needs, and well-being. Whether your pet is energetic and adventurous or prefers quiet companionship, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I split my regular work schedule with 3 wfh days each week. We are an early rising family who enjoy spending time on our homestead. We have several resident pets on the farm: 20 sheep, 2 mini donkeys, chickens and one beloved mutt. Our regular routine involves a 1 mi walk in the am and pm with lots of other opportunities throughout the day for supervised fresh air or playtime in one of our fenced 1 acre pastures. Safe and secure, a ball lovers paradise! I’m comfortable treating your pet as my own with specialized treatment or care as needed. We have 2 respectful preteen boys in the household so kid friendly dogs are an absolute must.
“Allison did a wonderful job taking care of our dog, Lucy. She and Dave have a large fenced-in yard and took Lucy on several walks. She was excellent at communicating, including sending photos and videos. Will definitely hVd her board Lucy again!”

“We had an amazing experience with Bob. Our puppy loved it from the first moment, as Bob's place feels so welcoming. Wooded trails right beyond the house with a walking access to the dog beach at lake Leelanau was great. Bob has sent pictures of dogs having fun at the beach. Overall freedom for the dogs to walk in and out to the fenced backyard, being welcomed on the couch was such a loving & carrying environment and perfect solution for our Golder Retriever, we will be there again and again when in Traverse City area!”
