“Lauren did a great job of watching our 2 cats while we were away! One is very shy, and the other is very particular, but Lauren did a great job letting them have their space while also making sure they had food, treats, water, etc. and sending me updates/pics each visit. Our previous rover we have used a couple times before was unavailable so we booked Lauren for the first time fairly last minute, which included visits over the Christmas holiday, so we really appreciated her accommodation. We came home to the apartment looking just as we left it. The cats are both happy for us to be back but seemed to have been well taken care of while we were away. I’d happily book Lauren again next time we need a cat sitter!”

About: We are a Christian home with a very active family! I’m thankful that my job allows me to spend most of my days at home with the kids and dog. Our dog is very friendly and loves new visitors. She’s smaller, but loves the big dogs best! My daughter on the other hand loves the smaller dogs. We will happily welcome them all! My dog and I frequent the dog parks, hiking trails, beaches and walks through the town. I used to be a former 4-H member with my childhood dog, so I’ve got many years experience with training and showing. My love and patience is huge for dogs. He hasn’t met a dog, big or small, he doesn’t like. We have a new pup, a female cocker spaniel, Carter. She’s 8 months now, she has appointed herself Official Play Time Supervisor of any and all dog guest- your pups will go home tired. Occasionally our daughter’s Boston Terrier, Franklin will visit, he hasn’t met a person, dog, or cat, he doesn’t like. He’s truly the best boy. I have had to administer meds in the past and don’t mind doing so. Animal caretaking is my full time job and my family is 1000% okay with that. I’ve never met an animal that I didn’t want to bring home with me. We just moved from Sparta to Ravenna, and we’re now on 3 acres. Your fur baby is invited and encouraged to make our house their home away from home. They will be well spoiled and loved, as my entire family will be doting on them.

The love has spread to my 13 year old daughter. I currently have a very fun, young, and goofy dog -- a Vizsla named "Ranger." He clearly isn't a working dog and isn't a picture of obedience perfection. (I only mention this to let you know that despite my resume your dog doesn't have to be perfect and is coming into a very fun and loving household!) We've truly been a dog centered household for 20 years. My wife is a literal Saint! My private dog training rates, and I've turned down much more work than I've accepted, runs 10x the Rover.com rate we are charging. About: I have been around animals my whole life and am not afraid to get my hands dirty if I have to! If you need a pet sitter who will run your hyper dog around the yard for hours to get them to go to sleep, I'm your girl:) I have experience mainly in shepherds and larger dogs since I have been watching them since I was about 14 and grew up with 3 shepherds and a lab. That said, I can handle all dog sizes and cats if you need me to! I had a Miniature Schnauzer for over 10 years as well so I'm comfortable around smaller and elderly pets if needed. Not to mention, I have experience in caring for other animals such as guinea pigs:) I also used to volunteer at the local humane society so any age of dog I can handle. I have a full time job throughout the week but I have plenty of time to do pet care! Especially on weekends & overnight stays. I will gladly try to work around my schedule to get all your pet needs:) I have been overnight pet-sitting for about 10 years and have fallen in love with it. I love spending as much time with the animals as possible so they can get used to me and know it's okay to put their trust in me. I treat any pet like it is my own so you have no need to worry about if they are getting enough attention or not!

About: I have cared for other's pets since I was around ten years old, and have been a dog mom since April 2019. I have extensive experience with dog and human reactivity, anxiety, and a variety of annoying behaviors. As long as I (a 140lb woman) am physically able to keep the dog and others safe, I am comfortable with their temperament and quirks! “Taylor was amazing! Yesterday was my first time using Rover and I was a little nervous about my pup being home alone... Taylor called me at work (per my request) so that I could go over how to get into my house, etc. and she calmed my nerves too :) when she got there, he had tore up his mattress pad in his kennel- she cleaned it up so that he couldn’t eat it. She then walked him, took pictures for me and played with him enough to tire him out for a bit. She was so good with him anc it was so appreciated! ❤️❤️”

About: I live in north Muskegon and am home most of the day to spend time with your furry friends when you aren't able. I love them all like my own! I would love to provide your dog with the extra care they are craving, whether you need someone to pop in and check on them for a bit everyday, someone to take them on walks, or somewhere for them to stay overnight while you are away, I am more than happy to help! I have a very flexible schedule and several years experience taking care of dogs. No matter the weather I make sure to get our pup out for some exercise and can get yours out too. I cannot wait for the opportunity to get to know your dog. I am currently working part-time, three days a week so am able to fit in drop offs and pick ups and am around most of the time to hang with and take care of your pets. I have a huge heart for dogs and will love yours like my own while they are in my care. I am trustworthy and capable to handle any situation that may pop up.
