“This was our first time using Rover.com and Darla was perfect for our first time experience! I was having “mom guilt” and Miley had a little anxiety, but we all were pleased in the end. Darla sent pictures and videos throughout the day to assure us that Miley was behaving and not only comfortable but also enjoying her stay. About: I have cared for other's pets since I was around ten years old, and have been a dog mom since April 2019. I have extensive experience with dog and human reactivity, anxiety, and a variety of annoying behaviors. As long as I (a 140lb woman) am physically able to keep the dog and others safe, I am comfortable with their temperament and quirks! About: We are a Christian home with a very active family! I’m thankful that my job allows me to spend most of my days at home with the kids and dog. Our dog is very friendly and loves new visitors. She’s smaller, but loves the big dogs best! My daughter on the other hand loves the smaller dogs. We will happily welcome them all! I genuinely enjoy being outside, going on walks, and making sure dogs are active, happy, and not stuck inside all day. Your dog won’t just be “watched”- they’ll be cared for, played with, and treated like one of our own. I currently work from home and am home the majority of the day, which allows me to give dogs plenty of attention, supervision, and care. I do step out occasionally for short transportation trips and my boys’ sports activities, but I plan my schedule to ensure pets are never left alone for long periods. Your dog will have a consistent, safe, and attentive environment with lots of interaction throughout the day. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. About: I have pet care experience of all kinds including breeding and stud service, shots and weening. We have a large open floor plan with a 4 stall garage to roam. Price will vary if dog is not fully potty trained or in heat during their stay. I am a stay at home entrepreneur allowing me to be present with pets while they are here. I am also a groomer! My husband and I believe this is a great opportunity to be able to love on all kinds of different breeds as our own and a fun way to take care of some of the most precious pets. That being said i will only accept crate trained dogs(for their safety) they need to be able to be crated safely while we are away for a short or longer amount of time. There are no cats or dogs here (unless confirmed by you that its okay to board at the same time as another families pet) so you won't have to worry about your pet getting along with anyone else while they are here. About: I had the best Olde english bulldogge for 7 years . He was very smart, socially calibrated and well mannered. I now have the sweetest pitbull who plays amazing with all dogs, and shares the same mannerisms (loving, playful, smart) I take care and sit my neighbors dogs as well. During the summer I take dogs to kirk park dog beach , which is heaven for them I can work from home so I’ll be able to oversee them. My yard is about 1000 sq ft. About: I’ve always had dogs and love caring for animals. I lost my beloved dog and I miss her wildly. Spending time with dogs allows me to honor that bond and brings me genuine joy; I truly enjoy getting to know each animal unique personality. I treat every animal woth the same kindness, patience and love I gave to my own dog. I have a very flexible schedule and I can give pets the attention, supervision and companionship they deserve 24/7! I don’t work so I’m completely free to take care of your fur babies. We travel extensively in our motorhome, but we are based in Michigan. Our Michigan home has an acre of woods for the dog to enjoy. There are no roads nearby and it is very safe and quiet.

The love has spread to my 13 year old daughter. I currently have a very fun, young, and goofy dog -- a Vizsla named "Ranger." He clearly isn't a working dog and isn't a picture of obedience perfection. (I only mention this to let you know that despite my resume your dog doesn't have to be perfect and is coming into a very fun and loving household!) We've truly been a dog centered household for 20 years. My wife is a literal Saint! My private dog training rates, and I've turned down much more work than I've accepted, runs 10x the Rover.com rate we are charging. Friends, neighbors, and family have relied on me for daily walks, feeding, bathing, and providing plenty of love and playtime. I’m comfortable with senior dogs and puppies, and I treat every pup as if they were my own I work full-time with an inconsistent schedule, which actually gives me flexibility to help pet parents who work during the day or have varying schedules. I can often provide care before or after work and on many weekdays when others might be busy. This allows me to give your pets plenty of attention and care when you need it most. I have two cats of my own and a pet-friendly home where safety and comfort come first. Whether caring for pets in your home or mine, I follow routines closely, provide lots of love and playtime, and can handle special care needs to keep your furry friends happy and healthy.
About: If my husband would let me, I’d buy a zoo (come on powerball). I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I’ve never met a pet that I didn’t want to spoil and cuddle. My daughter calls me a “stay at home pet mom”. Most days I’m home all day, with the exception of an occasional errand, appointment, drop ins for other dogs, or maybe a date night. We have 3 rescue kitties, who are like my tiny babies, very spoiled. Bam- who loves to help walk all the pups, and my girls- Pumpkin, and Elsa- who try to avoid visiting dogs at ALL cost. Basically I’m their “do-girl”. They all know how to talk me into extra treats. We also have Cash- a 1.5 year old, 30lb. Cocker Spaniel- who likes to think he’s a 125lb Husky. He hasn’t met a dog, big or small, he doesn’t like. We have a new pup, a female cocker spaniel, Carter. She’s 8 months now, she has appointed herself Official Play Time Supervisor of any and all dog guest- your pups will go home tired. Occasionally our daughter’s Boston Terrier, Franklin will visit, he hasn’t met a person, dog, or cat, he doesn’t like. He’s truly the best boy. I have had to administer meds in the past and don’t mind doing so. Animal caretaking is my full time job and my family is 1000% okay with that. I’ve never met an animal that I didn’t want to bring home with me. We just moved from Sparta to Ravenna, and we’re now on 3 acres. Your fur baby is invited and encouraged to make our house their home away from home. They will be well spoiled and loved, as my entire family will be doting on them.
“Taylor was amazing! Yesterday was my first time using Rover and I was a little nervous about my pup being home alone... Taylor called me at work (per my request) so that I could go over how to get into my house, etc. and she calmed my nerves too :) when she got there, he had tore up his mattress pad in his kennel- she cleaned it up so that he couldn’t eat it. She then walked him, took pictures for me and played with him enough to tire him out for a bit. She was so good with him anc it was so appreciated! ❤️❤️”

“This was our first time using Rover.com and Darla was perfect for our first time experience! I was having “mom guilt” and Miley had a little anxiety, but we all were pleased in the end. Darla sent pictures and videos throughout the day to assure us that Miley was behaving and not only comfortable but also enjoying her stay. This experience was just for the day but has gave us the comfort of knowing that she will be ok without us, and that it won’t hurt for us to try an overnight or two in the future! We will definitely book with Darla&Marigold again when we’re in the area in the future 😊”
