Though we were fairly short notice, Dan helped walk us through the Rover process, allowed us to do a meet and greet ahead of time, and was very flexible with drop off and pick up. Not knowing how our dogs would do as a first time away from us with non-family, there was a lot of anxiety on our side and it all was put to rest with videos and pictures of our pups having a great time there! There’s no doubt our dogs have some quirks but Dan and Kelly took amazing care of them and made them/us feel very welcome! Their house is very pet friendly with the toys, beds, and large fenced in backyard. So grateful to have found them, and strongly recommend them for your furry family members!”

About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life and I truly love all animals! I will treat your pet like my own and they will love to have me around. I have experience with administering meds and have cared for all ages from puppy to seniors. I work 2-3 days a week as a cashier at a thrift store but my schedule is very flexible I don’t start work until 10:30am and I’m always out of work by 6pm. I am usually sewing projects on my machine if I am not working or caring for pets. I have 2 dogs of my own, a German Shepherd Dog and an Australian Kelpie and care for my parents’ husky regularly. About: I helped my parent raise and train our current dog, and i also worked as a dog trainer for a while! I have experience with difficult dogs, puppies, and older dogs of all sizes! I am extremely patient with nervous dogs and excitable puppies! (I cannot provide training services as i have a contract with my past employer(can resume in February of 2027)) I am fairly flexible and can be there any Saturday, Sunday or Tuesday at any time! I would prefer a days heads up but same day is fine. I have plenty of experience and training with dog safety as I was previously a dog trainer, and i am very adaptable to any situation that may arise! I am very patient and I love to mix things up to keep it interesting for your pup! I am more than happy to care for and walk your pup any time of day! I am also experienced with off leash hikes as well, so if you have an e-collar I’d be happy to take them on the trails as well!

About: If my husband would let me, I’d buy a zoo (come on powerball). I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I’ve never met a pet that I didn’t want to spoil and cuddle. My daughter calls me a “stay at home pet mom”. Most days I’m home all day, with the exception of an occasional errand, appointment, drop ins for other dogs, or maybe a date night. We have 3 rescue kitties, who are like my tiny babies, very spoiled. Bam- who loves to help walk all the pups, and my girls- Pumpkin, and Elsa- who try to avoid visiting dogs at ALL cost. Basically I’m their “do-girl”. They all know how to talk me into extra treats. We also have Cash- a 1.5 year old, 30lb. Cocker Spaniel- who likes to think he’s a 125lb Husky. He hasn’t met a dog, big or small, he doesn’t like. We have a new pup, a female cocker spaniel, Carter. She’s 8 months now, she has appointed herself Official Play Time Supervisor of any and all dog guest- your pups will go home tired. Occasionally our daughter’s Boston Terrier, Franklin will visit, he hasn’t met a person, dog, or cat, he doesn’t like. He’s truly the best boy. I have had to administer meds in the past and don’t mind doing so. Animal caretaking is my full time job and my family is 1000% okay with that. I’ve never met an animal that I didn’t want to bring home with me. We just moved from Sparta to Ravenna, and we’re now on 3 acres. Your fur baby is invited and encouraged to make our house their home away from home. They will be well spoiled and loved, as my entire family will be doting on them.

I can give shots, medication, and follow instructions. I work a lot, so the weekends work best for me. About: I have been with rover, dog bording, since 2018. I love animals, they are my favorite. I pet every dog I see. I have also been around animals my whole life. When I was younger I had a dog named rocky, he was a cocker spaniel and a beagle mix, I had him for 13 years. When we had to put him down part of my soul left, he was my best friend. I know what its like to love your beautiful animals, through hard times they are always there for us. They are all created with beautiful souls, we are so lucky to have something like that by our sides. With that being said, I would love to take in your pet as if it were my own. I am able to get to know your dog and they dont think im a stranger when they come back! I have a lot of space to take your dog for a walk. We walk in the morning and I take them for a long walk before bed, and to crate if needed.

“Dan and Kelly were amazing with our two dogs!! This is our first time using Rover and also our first time leaving our pups with someone who wasn’t our family, they are 8 & 9. Though we were fairly short notice, Dan helped walk us through the Rover process, allowed us to do a meet and greet ahead of time, and was very flexible with drop off and pick up. Not knowing how our dogs would do as a first time away from us with non-family, there was a lot of anxiety on our side and it all was put to rest with videos and pictures of our pups having a great time there! There’s no doubt our dogs have some quirks but Dan and Kelly took amazing care of them and made them/us feel very welcome! Their house is very pet friendly with the toys, beds, and large fenced in backyard. So grateful to have found them, and strongly recommend them for your furry family members!”

About: I come from a family that has always sheltered, rescued, and spoiled all the fur babies that come into our lives. Patience and affection are our gifts. I work from home part time. That leaves my schedule open to caring for others pets in my home or for drop ins and walks. I have a fenced in yard and a large home with plenty of room. If your pupper is unfamiliar with cats I can ensure safe space kept between them. Walks, couch potato time, and kiddos in and out make for plenty of love and activity. My children are old enough to provide respectful space to pets that need it.
