The washing machine flooded the basement, ankle deep, the night before the flight out- not the only disaster. With Hannah / Rover, my kitty was one thing that was in good hands, one less worry. About: I have a very dog and cat friendly place to call home. Most days I am outside working around the property and the dogs are out with us. I’ve raised our dogs from 8 weeks old and the Labs are obedience trained and have taken their Canine Good Citizen class to hopefully be Therapy dogs soon. Our Pug is the youngest and raised by the Labs and of course, me. In the evenings it’s relax in the chair time. The dogs love to snuggle up and just nap after playing outside. I make my own work schedule and am able to fit work around pets. Usually only leaving the dogs for an errand run here and there. I go outside with all dogs and walk them on the property. I feed 2 times a day plus a snack or whatever is necessary for any visiting pet along with fresh water at all times. All pets have free range of the house day and night unless otherwise requested. I have an outdoor kennel for nice days if they need to be outside for a little while.

I’m available Monday-Friday, as well as some weekends! I frequently dog sit for my friends and family, with most of my experience being with dogs between a year-fourteen years old, and same goes for cats. When I enter someone’s home I make sure to never approach their pets and let them approach me (because I know it can be nerve-wracking for them to meet a new person at times). I usually let dogs out every hour or more if needed and enjoy going for walks with them or playing fetch or any other games to keep them entertained. I follow the instructions given by the parents of our fluffy friends very closely, feed times, medicine times, treat times, etc. If I need to I usually set reminders so I have a backup reminder if needed. Along with caring for their pets I also clean up after them, litter boxes, toys, their outside duties, and whatever the pet parent instructs. Her home is set up perfectly for pups, with a large fenced in backyard and open layout. My Frenchie had the most amazing time playing with the other dogs there.
