“Fantastic experience with Coddy and Byron! Our 1-ish year old Austrlian shepherd, Wes, stayed with them for a portion of July. Coddy and Byron were very responsive to messages, sent updates (and pictures/videos of Wes), and genuinely, thoughtfully incorporated Wes into their home for 2 weeks. Two weeks! We miscalculated Wes's food and, when it become apparent it would run out a few days before, Coddy and Byron rationed and mixed it with their own dogs' food in a way that didn't negatively affect Wes's digestion. If that's not top-tier dog watching, we really don't know what is. Would highly recommend and would book again!”

About: I have always loved animals and had pets my entire life. Currently have a dalmatian that loves to play and could use a friend to help them both burn energy. About: I have a very dog and cat friendly place to call home. Most days I am outside working around the property and the dogs are out with us. I’ve raised our dogs from 8 weeks old and the Labs are obedience trained and have taken their Canine Good Citizen class to hopefully be Therapy dogs soon. Our Pug is the youngest and raised by the Labs and of course, me. In the evenings it’s relax in the chair time. The dogs love to snuggle up and just nap after playing outside. I make my own work schedule and am able to fit work around pets. Usually only leaving the dogs for an errand run here and there. I go outside with all dogs and walk them on the property. I feed 2 times a day plus a snack or whatever is necessary for any visiting pet along with fresh water at all times. All pets have free range of the house day and night unless otherwise requested. I have an outdoor kennel for nice days if they need to be outside for a little while.

About: I have owned two dogs as pets. One lived to be 17. My dogs I have owned were both spunkie and lots of fun! I also worked in Illinois for a local dog walking/sitter company. I would walk my dogs for 20 I do walks in all kinds of weather. I had 2-4 dogs a week. Frankie a male dog and Ginger an older arthritic dog; they were my regulars. I would end every visit with petting and a treat. I really love my dogs and took very good care of them. Every visit ends with a text to the owner including a cute photo and information on whether the dog peed and pooped. I also volunteer at the Huron Velley Humane Society. My son has had all kinds of animals so if you have a bearded dragon or hamster I am familiar with many different pets. I love the flexibility. I enjoy getting outdoors and I love animals. This is a great combo for me. I’m recently stopped working this will a great way to fill my days. My dog gets a lot of love. I believe the best part of dogs is they are simple they just need attention and love. The last two dogs I had I gave lots of petting and hugs. Dogs also need stimulation whether it be playing fetch or using a Kong or some other activity an owner may have I like to incorporate that into my visit.

Coddy and Byron were very responsive to messages, sent updates (and pictures/videos of Wes), and genuinely, thoughtfully incorporated Wes into their home for 2 weeks. Two weeks! We miscalculated Wes's food and, when it become apparent it would run out a few days before, Coddy and Byron rationed and mixed it with their own dogs' food in a way that didn't negatively affect Wes's digestion.
