About: Hi! I am new to Rover, but caring for dogs is something my family truly loves. I have a friendly golden retriever named Stanley who absolutely thrives when he has other dogs to play with—so hosting furry friends is a joy for all of us! I work from home most days, which means your pup will get plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. My young kids also love having dogs around and are gentle, playful, and used to being around animals. I also have a cat in our home who is very comfortable around dogs—she and Stanley are great friends—so your pup should be cat-friendly or at least respectful of cats. I have a fully fenced-in yard for safe outdoor playtime, and I treat every dog that stays with us like part of the family. Whether your dog loves to play or just relax, I will make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and right at home. Since I’m just getting started on Rover, I’m excited to build relationships with both pets and their owners and provide a safe, trustworthy environment you can feel confident in. I currently work a hybrid schedule. I am home 2-3 days a week. We do have a fenced in yard and a doggy door. I have a fenced in yard and my animals are our family. About: I grew up catsitting my neighbor's kitties, playing, feeding, and changing litter while friends were away. I have one cat of my own, and live with my parents who have 2 barn kitties. I am experienced caring for kittens and older cats as well as cats who are super shy. I will follow your cat's lead so they can be comfortable with me in their space. I know how different cat sitting can be to dog sitting, since cats take longer to warm up to new people and environments, I won't rush them :)

Handling Aggressive or Special Needs Pets I have extensive experience with fearful, reactive, and aggressive pets, but clear and honest communication is essential: Cats: I am comfortable handling feral or aggressive cats and will take the necessary time to build trust. I can administer medication as needed, but I require full transparency about their behavior to ensure safety for all. Dogs: I can accommodate dogs with minor behavioral challenges, such as leash reactivity or mild anxiety. However, for safety reasons, I cannot accept: Dogs over 50 lbs who are not at least moderately leash-trained. Dogs requiring a muzzle or choke collar in public settings. Dogs with severe aggression or unpredictable behavior. Double-Booking Policy For the safety and well-being of all pets, I do not double-book boarding, daycare, or walks unless all parties have given consent and a meet-and-greet has taken place. If multiple dogs are staying in my home at the same time, a meet-and-greet is required. Even if the dogs get along, they will not be left alone together unless securely crated. Cats and dogs boarding in my home simultaneously will be kept in separate areas with no contact.

I think exercise is extremely important for dogs so would love to help you get that work in with them. If you don’t mind, I also love sending photos and updates on your pups. After college I worked as a zookeeper where I cared for everything from mealworms all the way to rhinos. Large breeds are my specialty, as I have grown up around Great Danes, Saint Bernards, and Newfoundlands my entire life, and feel very comfortable handling them. Every pet I sit for, I treat as my own and shower them with love and snuggles! I currently work part-time at Home Depot as a cashier and part-time at Olive Garden as a server. If I'm not working, I'm usually watching a movie or show, reading a book, writing poetry, or going on a walk and enjoying this beautiful summer weather! I am constantly tending to what the angel- I mean pet- needs. Whether it's a potty break, a little treat, dinner, a snuggle, I am on the job!
About: I have dogsat for friends and family since I was a kid, I worked at a doggy daycare (Paws In The City) in highschool. My family has raised 2 litters of golden retrievers, so I am familiar with how to train and housebreak puppies from a young age. I live with 2 dogs and 3 cats, all with very different energy levels and personalities, I will adjust to your pet's unique needs and routines! I am a student at CMU, so during the semester I will be gone during the morning for classes. I stop by to check on pets during lunch time, and then head back to campus. On weekends I can stay with them the whole day, taking dogs on a hike if the weather is nice, or staying in and playing on my study breaks. I have a pretty open schedule, so I will have a lot of time to spare for pet care. I am willing to stay with your pets overnight if you need, or just stop by regularly throughout the day. I will follow your instructions, and make sure your pets stay fed, safe, and happy while you are gone! I have a lot of hiking trails I want to explore, if you are comfortable with me taking your pup on a fieldtrip. If not, I am happy to walk in your neighborhood and stay closer to home.

Additionally, I have long-term experience(10+ years) caring for a Bengal cat with Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease (FLUTD), which has given me hands-on experience with specialized care and medication routines. I am currently a student at Central Michigan University and work part-time with a flexible schedule, allowing me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to your pets. I am available for both daytime visits and overnight stays in your home. I strongly believe pets are most comfortable in their familiar environment, and I strive to maintain their routine while providing consistent care and companionship. I am always happy to provide extra references or additional information to help you feel confident and comfortable. About: Hi! I am new to Rover, but caring for dogs is something my family truly loves. I have a friendly golden retriever named Stanley who absolutely thrives when he has other dogs to play with—so hosting furry friends is a joy for all of us! I work from home most days, which means your pup will get plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. My young kids also love having dogs around and are gentle, playful, and used to being around animals. I also have a cat in our home who is very comfortable around dogs—she and Stanley are great friends—so your pup should be cat-friendly or at least respectful of cats. I have a fully fenced-in yard for safe outdoor playtime, and I treat every dog that stays with us like part of the family. Whether your dog loves to play or just relax, I will make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and right at home.
