“Max and Mariah took great care of our two 9 month old pups over an entire 4-day holiday weekend. About: Hi! I am new to Rover, but caring for dogs is something my family truly loves. I have a friendly golden retriever named Stanley who absolutely thrives when he has other dogs to play with—so hosting furry friends is a joy for all of us! I work from home most days, which means your pup will get plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. My young kids also love having dogs around and are gentle, playful, and used to being around animals. I also have a cat in our home who is very comfortable around dogs—she and Stanley are great friends—so your pup should be cat-friendly or at least respectful of cats. I have a fully fenced-in yard for safe outdoor playtime, and I treat every dog that stays with us like part of the family. Whether your dog loves to play or just relax, I will make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and right at home. Since I’m just getting started on Rover, I’m excited to build relationships with both pets and their owners and provide a safe, trustworthy environment you can feel confident in. I currently work a hybrid schedule. I am home 2-3 days a week. We do have a fenced in yard and a doggy door. I have a fenced in yard and my animals are our family. They are welcome to lay where they are comfortable and shares the bed with me if needed.
“Jessica was amazing both times she watched out 2 pups. She communicates well and keeps us posted on how they are doing! We will definitely be using her services again!”

“I highly recommend Sylvia. We received daily updates with lots of photos. She was very accommodating when we had a flight delay and offered to keep him another day. Scout came home happy as can be. Would definitely use her again.”

“Ashley was very accommodating and excellent with our 4 active dogs. I could tell they were very well taken care of and got plenty attention. Communication was great and we got regular updates with photos while we were gone. It’s clear she truly cares about animals. We will definitely be back. Thank you!”

“Jennifer (and her family) were absolutely amazing with our pup. I whole heartedly would recommend her to anyone. I received many pictures and updates on how he was doing during his stay. He came home loved and happy. Jennifer goes beyond what is expected and I truly believed loved him as his own. Great!! Great!! Great!!!”

“Janis and her dogs were a great host for our young dogs first overnight away from us. We met up quickly a couple days before hand so that she was sure Thule would be a good fit at her house . She provided updates and pictures showing the fun he was having. We would definitely recommend boarding with Janis!”

“Our absolute favorite sitter on Rover! My fiancé and I don’t have kids yet so our pets are our whole world, and I’m always nervous leaving them on extended stays. Jacqueline takes great care of our kitties and I love knowing that they’re getting reliable care. Thank you again!”

“Anthony did a great job helping our diabetic cat while we were gone for Thanksgiving. We appreciated his availability and friendliness. We will definitely book with him again!”

“Paula is a very kind and compassionate person. She took very good care of my 2 cats while I was on vacation which gave me piece of mind so I could enjoy vacation and not worry. She sent me reports of how they were doing after each visit along with pictures.I would highly recommend her.”

“Haley was great! She made sure our cat had plenty of snuggles while we were away, and it gave us such peace of mind to know she was watching over everything at our house.”

“Lily was terrific. She connected with our cat immediately and took great care of her. She stayed in touch with us so we knew how each visit went and we could ask and answer questions. Would definitely have Lily pet sit again.”

“There are not enough good things I can say about Savannah. Truly. She took amazing care of mine and my wife's 3 cats. After having back-to-back issues with 2 different sitters from Rover, it's amazing to know there are those that do actually care, and take what they do seriously. She went above and beyond for things that were never asked, or even expected. She was caring, respectful, and most importantly, understands cats, because she has 1 of her own. Our 3 cats are boys, and are all black. That's a challenge within itself. We left clear easy to follow instructions, and she took them and ran with it. Our cats trusted her early on, they didn't really hide the first time she came over, and that speaks volumes on its own. We will absolutely rebook her for the future. Thank you so much for taking great care of our Buddies Savannah!”

About: Cats have always felt like my other half. Since I was 5 I have been rescuing and caring for cats of all ages and backgrounds, and just recently rescued a little kitten that was trapped inside a car. I love making them feel comfortable and cared for because they always return that love ten times over! There's no better feeling than knowing that they feel safe around you, and that's something I will forever strive for.
“Shawna was so kind and attentive to my girl Athena! She even watered some plants she noticed were dry!! I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for pet care :) This was my first time using rover so I was nervous but it truly couldn't have worked out better!!”

“We had a great experience with Neika as our dog sitter! She was always prompt and reliable with every appointment, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. Her communication was stellar—she kept us updated consistently and made sure Daisy (Dog) was well cared for and comfortable the entire time. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the pets she looks after. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter!”

“Blythe was very accommodating. She took us as a fairly last minute booking since we had a funeral and my previous sitter had just moved away. My pickup estimate was off and she was kind enough to keep Grokii an hour or two longer than expected even though it coincided with putting her kids to bed. Her kids are absolutely adorable and I know Grokii was doted on because he slept almost the entire next day. Great family - highly recommend!”

“Jennifer is friendly, helpful, and did great with my boy. He was very happy and seemed like he made himself right at home. I got plenty of updates and pictures during his stay and she was very understanding and helpful even when I needed help last minute. I brought him back for a second time and he got super excited as we were pulling up so he must’ve loved it there ❤️”

“Jennifer was awesome as always. This was our second time using her services. She is great with communication and she tired our puppies out with walks, playtime with other dogs, and just giving them so much love. She really treats them like family. She is great at reading dog behavior and she goes above and beyond meeting thier needs. We will definitely be our first choice anytime we need someone to watch our pups!”

My goal is to respect your space and treat your home with the same level of care I would my own. Having spent the last two years renovating my own home, I deeply understand the importance of maintaining a clean and organized environment. Safety and Pet Care Best Practices Your pet’s safety is my top priority, and I take every precaution to ensure their well-being: Secure Transportation: If I transport your pet, they will always be properly restrained with a seatbelt or pet travel carrier for safety. Leash & Walk Safety: On walks, I ensure pets do not pick up items from the ground. I also clean their paws after every outing, just as I do with my own pets. Hygiene & Health: If your pet gets dirty, I will provide a bath with your permission. Any medical concerns will be addressed immediately, and I am trained in emergency pet first aid, excluding surgical procedures. Home Security: I will ensure all doors and windows are securely locked when leaving your home. Privacy & Updates: I will only take photos of your pet for your updates and will never photograph your home without permission. Supervision & Outdoor Time: Pets in my care will never be left alone in a vehicle or outside unattended, even in my fenced yard. Cats will remain indoors unless they are harness-trained and you request outdoor time. Stranger Interaction: While on walks, your pet will not interact with strangers or other animals unless pre-approved for socialization. Pet Care in My Home Pets in my home receive dedicated supervision unless prior arrangements are made: Dogs: If a dog is staying with me and needs to be left alone for an extended period, I require a crate for their safety and comfort. However, my schedule is highly flexible, minimizing the time they are left alone. Cats: Cats may be left unsupervised in a designated, pet-safe room with regular check-ins. Handling Aggressive or Special Needs Pets I have extensive experience with fearful, reactive, and aggressive pets, but clear and honest communication is essential: Cats: I am comfortable handling feral or aggressive cats and will take the necessary time to build trust. I can administer medication as needed, but I require full transparency about their behavior to ensure safety for all. Dogs: I can accommodate dogs with minor behavioral challenges, such as leash reactivity or mild anxiety. However, for safety reasons, I cannot accept: Dogs over 50 lbs who are not at least moderately leash-trained. Dogs requiring a muzzle or choke collar in public settings. Dogs with severe aggression or unpredictable behavior. Double-Booking Policy For the safety and well-being of all pets, I do not double-book boarding, daycare, or walks unless all parties have given consent and a meet-and-greet has taken place. If multiple dogs are staying in my home at the same time, a meet-and-greet is required. Even if the dogs get along, they will not be left alone together unless securely crated. Cats and dogs boarding in my home simultaneously will be kept in separate areas with no contact.

About: I have cared for dogs over the past ten years. Both my family’s and friend’s dogs, ranging from puppies to seniors. I am the proud momma of a mini schnauzer, who had a very medically complex first year of life. Therefore I am comfortable administering medications if necessary. I recently graduated from physician assistant school, therefore my schedule is rather flexible while studying for my board exam and until starting my first job in mid october. My priority will always be your dog(s) safety, keeping them on a leash or within their fenced yard. I will follow any provided special instructions.
About: I am not your typical pet-sitter. I have spent my entire life caring for all types of animals. My first job was at a pet store learning the skills of working with animals and their people. After college I worked as a zookeeper where I cared for everything from mealworms all the way to rhinos. Specialized care was the name of the game there and I was able to recognize the smallest details on how to improve my work with exotics. Then I was led into the world of shelter work. Where I studied pet behavior and early signs of stress and how enrichment can help save lives. Many animals coming into the shelter would need some form of medication as well. I have a skillset of administering medications and making sure the animals actually receive their meds. Lastly, I was a dog training apprentice. I was able to form bonds with dogs that most people wouldn't come near. I can read body language well and know how to show dogs respect. I aim to be your go-to pet-sitter where you can actually enjoy your trip. I will make your pet my priority. I have an excellent ability to find balance in my schedule. You can trust that your pet is cared for how you want them to be. I have quite a few pets in my home and all are well cared for. I will offer the same care to the animals you care for. I will ask for detailed instructions and follow your schedule as closely as I can.

“Max and Mariah took great care of our two 9 month old pups over an entire 4-day holiday weekend. These puppies are high energy and were allowed to play in their fenced in yard to their heart’s content and adjusted well to their already busy household. I will definitely check with them first if ever needing boarding again.”

If I notice anything out of place or in need of tidying, I’m happy to help—but always with your prior approval. I understand that personal preferences vary; some clients prefer to handle certain tasks themselves, while others appreciate the extra assistance.
