About: I'm an experienced doggy foster, boarding more than 10 new-to-Maine rescues last year before adopting a sweet little pup of my own. As a new dog parent, I know how difficult it can be to find reliable, affordable, overnight care - plus a place my pup will actually enjoy! My pup, Marcy, is a 1-year old blackmouth cur. She's a regular at the dog park and very well socialized across a range of doggy personalities. I have a safe, calm house with a fenced-in yard. I also work remotely, meaning your dog would have lots of attention and a watchful eye. Although I'm primarily listing my offering as dog boarding at my home, Marcy and I are flexibile so long as there is reliable internet. So please reach out if you prefer boarding at your home instead. Note that Marcy is gentle not prey driven, though she's only been introduced to one cat. If you have kitties, let's do a meet-n-greet to ensure it's a good fit. Reach out with any questions! I work at home, with flexibility around meetings for walks, dog park trips, and potty/training breaks. I’m available to pet sit any day of the week. At my home: I have a 4 ft fenced-in yard for play time, which turns into an at-home dog park when Marcy has a visitor. Note that the fence isn't foolproof for an escape artist or high jumper. Dogs are allowed throughout the house and on couches, if they choose. Sleeping arrangements are flexible, especially knowing visiting pups can sometimes feel more comfortable sleeping in bed with a human. About: I’ve always been around dogs and got my own dog 8 years ago. I have have always taken care of dogs in my neighborhood for long amount of time or for even just to feed or let out. I have a full time job Monday thru Thursday but I’m free on the weekends. I’m most likely will not be available for major holidays . I live in a new apartment building that has a small dog park. I usually take my dog on hikes or walks around the neighborhood.

About: Growing up I’ve had pets ranging from dogs to reptiles. Spending time and taking care of them was never a job but a passion. From volunteering at animal shelters at a young age to pet sitting for friends and family, I continue to express my love and care for animals. I also have a 16 year old Portuguese Water Dog at home and she is my world! I currently work full time from 8am to 4pm Mon-Fri. Sitting for pets before and after my work hours on those days is no problem of mine if the owner is ok with them spending that period of time alone. About: Greetings! I'm Daniel, I've been pet-sitting and dog-walking off and on for 17 years. I love animals: With me, you get a new friend for your pets, and a dependable steward of your home. I believe in the Hawaiian meaning of "Kahu," that we should be guardians and beloved attendants of our animal friends. I practice Eastern techniques of energy work (qi qong and martial arts) and I am a certified Reiki practitioner, so I love to connect with animals as part of that practice (they are great conductors of energy, which is only ever healing and calming for them to experience). About: Hi, I'm a Wildlife Conservation, Animal Behavior and Biology undergrad that LOVES being outside! I have grown up alongside animals my entire life, and I know how to recognize behavioral signs before the reactions occur. I have experience with all ages and breeds of dogs, cats, barnyard friends, and exotic reptiles/birds/mammals etc... I am very seasoned in the patience department, and I love making fun puzzles with treats or toys. I frequently go on long walks/runs with energetic animals, and I've got a mean overhand throw that is guaranteed to tire them out! With senior animals, I like to read out loud to them and sunbathe out in the yard (if they are outdoor pets). I am also able to take pups out on field trips to the beach and hikes :) I live by the fact that all animals deserve the upmost respect, love, and support. About: I'm a 53yr old, active woman who spent 15 years as an Animal Control Officer in my local towns and then with my local Sheriff's office. I've fostered and adopted numerous rescues and am a huge animal advocate. Caring for other people's animals has always been my dream and now I'm doing it. I'm available almost any day at any time. I'm happy to stay with your pets or just stop in for a visit. I do not offer pet sitting in my home as my two rescues do not do well with other dogs. About: I have been caring for animals basically my entire life. It's not unusual for me to spend two weeks at a clients home to watch their dogs while they are on the road, vacation etc. I have experience with my own animals as well. I've raised many types of animals including but not limited to dogs,cats, reptiles, farm animals, etc. I was the person that fed them, walked them, provided comfort and performed any other necessary tasks needed in order to make sure the animals needs are met. Currently I have a very open schedule. My schedule is open to play, watch, feed, walk or whatever you need me to do. Occasionally I have a meeting or appointment other than that I am free. About: I'm an experienced doggy foster, boarding more than 10 new-to-Maine rescues last year before adopting a sweet little pup of my own. As a new dog parent, I know how difficult it can be to find reliable, affordable, overnight care - plus a place my pup will actually enjoy! I routinely pet-sit for friends, and joined Rover to continue expanding my dog's social circle (she *loves* other dogs) while earning supplementary income. My pup, Marcy, is a 1-year old blackmouth cur. She's a regular at the dog park and very well socialized across a range of doggy personalities. I have a safe, calm house with a fenced-in yard. I also work remotely, meaning your dog would have lots of attention and a watchful eye. Although I'm primarily listing my offering as dog boarding at my home, Marcy and I are flexibile so long as there is reliable internet. So please reach out if you prefer boarding at your home instead. Note that Marcy is gentle not prey driven, though she's only been introduced to one cat. If you have kitties, let's do a meet-n-greet to ensure it's a good fit. Reach out with any questions! I work at home, with flexibility around meetings for walks, dog park trips, and potty/training breaks. I’m available to pet sit any day of the week. At my home: I have a 4 ft fenced-in yard for play time, which turns into an at-home dog park when Marcy has a visitor. Note that the fence isn't foolproof for an escape artist or high jumper. Dogs are allowed throughout the house and on couches, if they choose. Sleeping arrangements are flexible, especially knowing visiting pups can sometimes feel more comfortable sleeping in bed with a human. Marcy is crate-trained, and I have a large crate in case your pup needs a designated safe space.

About: I’ve always been around dogs and got my own dog 8 years ago. I have have always taken care of dogs in my neighborhood for long amount of time or for even just to feed or let out. I have a full time job Monday thru Thursday but I’m free on the weekends. I’m most likely will not be available for major holidays . I live in a new apartment building that has a small dog park. I usually take my dog on hikes or walks around the neighborhood.

About: I'm a work at home pet mom with a large yard, lots of toys, and a calm and welcoming house. I've always had large dogs from mixed breeds to Great Danes, but love and appreciate all types of well mannered dogs. My house sits well off the road, so its quiet and I hike or trail walk almost daily. I am adept at giving medicine, cleaning wounds and dealing with incontinent dogs, but I will only board dogs who are respectful of my cats. I am currently working from home on my own schedule. Boarded dogs who enjoy car rides can come with me on errands or outings. While each day may different, my activities will be built around the needs of the animals I am caretaking, especially if separation anxiety is an issue. I will care for your animals as per your instructions and the capabilities of your pet. I do not have a fenced in yard, but have installed a run line in the past. If a dog is used to being crated, receiving treats, or sleeping on the couch - no problem. Conversely, I don't give animals people food, and if you want your pets to stay off furniture I will strictly honor that as well. My house is small but open, so it is easy to keep an eye on them.
