About: Currently I am between caregiving clients trying to decide what my next move is. I was born into an animal loving family, extended family, etc. I am 59 years old and have never been without at least a cat or two. I've also had 2 of my own dogs since 2005. My last senior dog passed the rainbow bridge in 2024. Born in Connecticut, lived for 45 years in Maryland and now I am living in Maine where I love it! One reason I fell in love with Maine is you can bring your dog almost anywhere here. They are a pet loving no-kill state! I have administered just about every kind of pet med out there. Every single pet has their own personality and I am very patient to learn that personality so we will become friends. I have a pretty open schedule with no real deadlines, so when ever your pets need walks, feeding, medications or just spend time with them, I am there. My own pets get feed twice a day. The time varies depending on my pet sitting schedule. But usually Its about 10am and 7pm. Whatever instructions left for me for a pet sit, I will follow to the letter. I will ask questions or text later to make sure I understand everything your pet needs. I've never run into an animal not liking me, but I am very aware of them not be comfortable with me at first. That can be stressful for them of course, so its very important that their care instructions are followed to keep them as anxiety free as possible.
“We left our 15 lb Yorkie in the care of Elizabeth for three nights and were very pleased with the care she provided. He has special dietary requirements as he has colitis and Elizabeth fed him exactly as needed and he came home healthy and happy as could be. She sent us pictures of him every day out walking and in the house and he looked like he was having a ball. Either way I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her or use her again to look out for our dog while we are out of town.”

About: I'm a work at home pet mom with a large yard, lots of toys, and a calm and welcoming house. I've always had large dogs from mixed breeds to Great Danes, but love and appreciate all types of well mannered dogs. My house sits well off the road, so its quiet and I hike or trail walk almost daily. I am adept at giving medicine, cleaning wounds and dealing with incontinent dogs, but I will only board dogs who are respectful of my cats. I am currently working from home on my own schedule. Boarded dogs who enjoy car rides can come with me on errands or outings. While each day may different, my activities will be built around the needs of the animals I am caretaking, especially if separation anxiety is an issue. I will care for your animals as per your instructions and the capabilities of your pet. I do not have a fenced in yard, but have installed a run line in the past. If a dog is used to being crated, receiving treats, or sleeping on the couch - no problem. Conversely, I don't give animals people food, and if you want your pets to stay off furniture I will strictly honor that as well. My house is small but open, so it is easy to keep an eye on them.

About: I had beagles growing up and was totally fascinated by them and they brought a big smile to my face with their antics. Later on, I adopted a red Doberman female dog and loved her to pieces taking her on all sort of outdoor adventures - she was highly athletic! I had a poodle who was a bit shy but nevertheless I gave her a great life with endless throwing of the ball for fetch and taking care of her when she went blind - older poodles have that tendency. I have a 11 year old cockapoo who is lean and trim and well loved! About: Hi! My name is Brooke, and I have a lifelong love for animals. I grew up caring for both dogs and cats and currently have two rescued German Shepherds of my own. Over the years, I’ve gained experience with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities, from playful kittens and puppies to senior pets who need a little extra patience and care. I understand that every pet is unique, and I take the time to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having someone keep them company, I’ll do my best to follow their routine and give them the care they deserve. I have experience caring for large dogs, reactive dogs, senior pets, and cats with different personalities and needs. I am also comfortable giving oral medications and injections/shots when needed, following your pet’s care instructions carefully. I offer dog walking and drop-in visits for both dogs and cats. During visits, I can provide fresh water, meals, potty breaks, playtime, medication administration, and plenty of love and attention. I recently graduated high school and will be attending college locally at SMCC, where I will be studying Early Childhood Education. Since I will be commuting, I have availability throughout the week for drop-in visits and walks. Outside of school, I spend most of my time caring for my two German Shepherds, spending time with my two sisters, and enjoying walks by the water. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I love being active and spending time outdoors. I do my best to accommodate each pet owner’s schedule and will always communicate clearly about my availability. I prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and trusted environment for every pet in my care. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or taking them out for a walk, I take the time to learn their routine, understand their needs, and build trust at their own pace. For cat owners: I offer drop-in visits for a time frame we discuss beforehand and will make sure your cat’s daily needs are met. Whether that includes feeding, fresh water, litter box care, playtime, administering medication, or simply providing companionship, I make each cat feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. My goal is to provide dependable care and give pet owners peace of mind knowing their pets are being treated with patience, kindness, and respect.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs cats rabbits and horses ever since I was 10. I’ve cared for new born kittens as well as senior cats at the Humane Society for almost 10 years. And cared for my neighbors’ dogs. From volunteering I’ve learn much about behaviors for both dogs and cats and have discovered I have a talent for working with them. I decided at retiring that I would like to begin in home pet sitting earning a living. I also manage an Airbnb with pets and have had great experiences with both dogs and and cats. I’m available all times but desire at least a week in advance notice. Daily weekly and hourly with breaks when needed for managing my Airbnb. Usually to clean after check out. Also per your needs I will need to have a brief break in the day to drive home to make sure my cats are fed and happy with some play time if I am asked to do overnights. I have 4 cats now. They get fed on special foods on a schedule. When they are eating I clean their cat boxes and when they are finished, I clean their bowls. Before they begin their daily naps , I play with each of them. They range in age from 19 to 1 yr. I also check their water bowls throughout the day or night depending. I can give them treats anytime. I also have learned various medical skills and hope to go back to school for a third degree as a vet tech and if life allows veterinary practice.

About: Currently I am between caregiving clients trying to decide what my next move is. I was born into an animal loving family, extended family, etc. I am 59 years old and have never been without at least a cat or two. I've also had 2 of my own dogs since 2005. My last senior dog passed the rainbow bridge in 2024. Born in Connecticut, lived for 45 years in Maryland and now I am living in Maine where I love it! One reason I fell in love with Maine is you can bring your dog almost anywhere here. They are a pet loving no-kill state! I have administered just about every kind of pet med out there. Every single pet has their own personality and I am very patient to learn that personality so we will become friends. I have a pretty open schedule with no real deadlines, so when ever your pets need walks, feeding, medications or just spend time with them, I am there. My own pets get feed twice a day. The time varies depending on my pet sitting schedule. But usually Its about 10am and 7pm. Whatever instructions left for me for a pet sit, I will follow to the letter. I will ask questions or text later to make sure I understand everything your pet needs. I've never run into an animal not liking me, but I am very aware of them not be comfortable with me at first. That can be stressful for them of course, so its very important that their care instructions are followed to keep them as anxiety free as possible.
“We left our 15 lb Yorkie in the care of Elizabeth for three nights and were very pleased with the care she provided. He has special dietary requirements as he has colitis and Elizabeth fed him exactly as needed and he came home healthy and happy as could be. She sent us pictures of him every day out walking and in the house and he looked like he was having a ball. Either way I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her or use her again to look out for our dog while we are out of town.”

About: I'm a work at home pet mom with a large yard, lots of toys, and a calm and welcoming house. I've always had large dogs from mixed breeds to Great Danes, but love and appreciate all types of well mannered dogs. My house sits well off the road, so its quiet and I hike or trail walk almost daily. I am adept at giving medicine, cleaning wounds and dealing with incontinent dogs, but I will only board dogs who are respectful of my cats. I am currently working from home on my own schedule. Boarded dogs who enjoy car rides can come with me on errands or outings. While each day may different, my activities will be built around the needs of the animals I am caretaking, especially if separation anxiety is an issue. I will care for your animals as per your instructions and the capabilities of your pet. I do not have a fenced in yard, but have installed a run line in the past. If a dog is used to being crated, receiving treats, or sleeping on the couch - no problem. Conversely, I don't give animals people food, and if you want your pets to stay off furniture I will strictly honor that as well. My house is small but open, so it is easy to keep an eye on them.
About: I've taken care of all sorts of dogs since I was a teenager! I am comfortable with Reactive, Aggressive and Nervous dogs. I have Three of my own nervous/reactive dogs! I've dog sat for family and friends along with having 4 of my own dogs! I've worked at a doggie daycare and have experience with particular routines that our pets have. “Lacey and Jeremy were absolutely fantastic with our pups! We have an older dog and a young puppy, both of whom need to have frequent potty breaks. This was no problem for them. They were so welcoming and loving with our guys. Lacey carefully listened to all our concerns and directions about the dogs but I didn’t need to worry because everything went so well. They had a long stay and had such a wonderful time that I wasn’t sure they would want to come home. Lacey communicated with us regularly and sent adorable pictures. We were surprised and delighted that both dogs were given baths and looked and smelled great when we picked them up. Lacey and Jeremy definitely exceeded our expectations.”
