About: I've had dogs all of my life. All of my dogs I rescued, Rosco from North Carolina, Athena from Puerto Rico, Otis a Maine resident (my other half best friend) ,Piglet from Georgia and Thia from Saint Thomas. I've always had a love and special way with dogs. It's all about time and patience they are 4 legged kids. Ive introduced a senior dog who was not fond of other dogs to his new sister and they lived happily in the house together. I've had alot of experience with senior dogs dealing with hip issues and mobility. I am also a pitbull mom so I know all about their attitude. I have went through obedient school and have learned alot and plain on continue training not just for my self but for the dogs we have to be trained just as much as they do. I'm currently working 7 to 3 M-F but have time at night and on weekends in my daily schedule that I would love to fill and what better way then spending with animals. I treat my pets as if they are kids because they are my kids! I'm a dog mom. My dogs have a fenced in back yard they always run around in.

Cassidy and Cody were so laid back, relaxed and flexible when it came times and days we needed care for Fern. Fern was nervous at first meeting and staying with new friends Gus, (their dog) and their 2 children, but she was wagging her tail and so excited to go back to their house the following day! Fern got extra walks, and even went to the beach with them! We felt very comfortable leaving our baby In their care! I also appreciated getting text and picture updates of how Fern was doing throughout the day. I would definitely reach out to Cody and Cassidy again for dog sitting when we are in the area.”

About: I have always had dogs but am currently without one after my 16-year-old golden retriever passed away. I am comfortable working with dogs of all ages, and understand how their needs, routines and personalities change throughout their lives. I live in a quiet community with beach access a short walk away. If you have a pup that loves to swim, go on adventures or walks, or simply spend time outside, I would be a great fit. While your away, you can be sure they too are enjoying a mini vacation. I can work from home so your dog will not be lonely during the day. There are some days I may not be home all day, but I will be sure to give them plenty of exercise with time to run, play or swim in the mornings, afternoons and evenings. I also have a life jacket for those dogs who are not strong swimmers or who may want a little extra support in the water. I've not crated any of my dogs, but if you are more comfortable with crating, I can accommodate that if you bring yours. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I do have a small side yard, access to trails and a beach so they will get plenty of time outside.

We do not have heavy traffic and can walk for as long as necessary to tucker your pup out. - Daily photos of your pet for check-in purposes, or if they’re just being cute. - Experience with puppies and young dogs, as well as older dogs who may prefer a quieter environment. My home office space provides a calm space to spend the day with me individually. - Competitive rates and flexible scheduling. - Bonus: I also have experience with chickens and freshwater aquariums and can accommodate check-in visits to refresh water and feed as long as instructions are provided. My husband and I both currently work from home Monday through Friday and can provide constant supervision and attention to our guests. If your pet prefers a quiet environment as opposed to the hustle and bustle of family life, we do have the ability to provide quieter settings. I do require that for overnight bookings, if your dog is crate trained, that you bring their crate with them. I love taking photos of my own pets, so if that offers peace of mind to our guests, I am more than happy to oblige. A meet and greet before a booking is preferred to ensure our dogs can get along. My dogs are both neutered/spayed and have not had any experiences with aggression towards other dogs. They do get excited, but quickly calm down once the initial introduction is over. Our dogs are not left unattended/uncrated with guests unless absolutely necessary. If we needed to leave the house quickly for whatever reason, you would be notified and your dog would come with us to remain under our supervision at all times. In-home visits and/or care- I am careful and aware of not letting pets outdoors unless explicitly told to do so. I have indoor only cats so I understand how important it is to check the cracks for sneaky paws and noses before opening doors. I will not wander around the home; it is strictly in to fill water and food, clean litter boxes, and spend a little time sitting on the kitchen floor to offer attention and pets (when the animal permits it). Your space is private and personal, and I am honored to have your trust in caring for your pets and your home.

About: I have been working with dogs and cats professionally since May of 2012 with my primary focus on dog walking. From puppies to seniors, I have walked and pet sat all temperaments and ages of dogs. I have a year and a half of basic dog training experience, which also included working with reactive and anxious dogs. Being fluent in dog body language is essential! Subcutaneous injections are also a part of my skill set, as I used to have a diabetic cat that needed insulin injections twice daily as well as a client that needed Adequan injections twice a week. About: I grew up on a farm where I was surrounded by large animals like cattle and horses, which gave me a deep appreciation for working with animals from a young age. My passion for animal care led me to become a veterinary technician, where I spent several years working in a large animal hospital. During this time, I gained extensive experience handling various animals, assisting in surgeries, administering medications, and providing routine care. I also have a 8 year-old German Shepherd named Nala. These experiences have strengthened my skills in animal health and care, and I truly enjoy working with animals of all sizes. About: I’ve cared for animals for as long as I can remember. I know how important your pet is to you and I always promise to treat them like my own. I can check in on them for walks, feedings, and playtime so that they feel loved and cared for! I’m currently available everyday for walks and drop ins. Although Thurs-Saturdays I am only available after 2pm due to my part time summer job. I can no longer offer overnight pet sitting unfortunately. But if you need a daily check in while you are at work or if you’re planning on being out on the lake all day and need someone to stop in and stay with your buddy so they don’t get lonely then I just may be the perfect fit! I follow instructions and use common sense to ensure your pet stays safe and has all of their needs met. In caring for your pet in their environment it helps reduce stress and attempt to maintain any form of routine they have. I am considerate of multiple personalities and consciously make an effort to accommodate the pets needs. With dogs I have watched in the past, I attempt to give them familiarity with their routine, within mine and their comfort. I walk familiar roads/paths, feed them on their schedule (if possible) and attain to any of their needs. I will use any devices/ equipment you typically use and will prioritize safety outside the home (using leases, collars, etc.).
