And while the barn may be bigger than the house, the house is designed for this in mind and they will have the run of it! I have a professional flexible full-time position in our family business. By limiting my clients to one family at a time I am able to fulfill my promise to provide the best possible care. We have 7 acres, 4 of which are 80% fenced in. We also have a sand horseback riding arena we are working to also utilize as a dog play area so they can be securely playing off the leash. I have extra large dog crates in their room for security at night if needed, and they will 100% always be on a leash.

About: I've had dogs all of my life. All of my dogs I rescued, Rosco from North Carolina, Athena from Puerto Rico, Otis a Maine resident (my other half best friend) ,Piglet from Georgia and Thia from Saint Thomas. I've always had a love and special way with dogs. It's all about time and patience they are 4 legged kids. Ive introduced a senior dog who was not fond of other dogs to his new sister and they lived happily in the house together. I've had alot of experience with senior dogs dealing with hip issues and mobility. I am also a pitbull mom so I know all about their attitude. I have went through obedient school and have learned alot and plain on continue training not just for my self but for the dogs we have to be trained just as much as they do. I'm currently working 7 to 3 M-F but have time at night and on weekends in my daily schedule that I would love to fill and what better way then spending with animals. I treat my pets as if they are kids because they are my kids! I'm a dog mom. My dogs have a fenced in back yard they always run around in.

About: New to Rover but not new to caring for animals! I grew up on a farm with lots of animals - dogs, cats, goats, horses, rabbits, chickens, pigs... I've also informally pet sat for friends and neighbors with dogs and/or cats in the past. I've been a cat mom in the past, but I don't have a pet of my own right now. For dog walking, my work from home job allows me some flexibility to stop by and take your pup for a stroll! I can do earlier mornings, a lunch time walk on some days, and evening walks after 5pm. For doggy daycare, I work from home full time at a desk job - if my day is "busy" it just means I had a few more zoom calls than usual. I would absolutely be able to take time to provide potty breaks and maybe a walk around the neighborhood when the weather is good. I live on a main street in town, but there's also a nice quiet neighborhood right behind me with minimal traffic, perfect for a quick walk. I do travel three or four times a year for my job, generally for 3-5 days each time, but I'd be able to give you at least a couple of months advanced notice for those trips - they are never last minute! For doggy daycare, I don't smoke and I have plenty of space for your pup to hang out during the day so they don't feel cooped up - including a wrap around enclosed porch that I can keep secure, and a tall privacy-fenced back yard/garden area. While the yard is fenced, I do get birds and other critters roaming through, and I have a flower garden that could have some toxic plants for over-curious dogs. Because of that, I would not to leave them alone outside, but take those breaks with them. My house does have a fairly steep flight of stairs, so a dog without joint pain or struggles going up and down multiple times a day would be most comfortable. I do have lots of houseplants and some could be toxic - so again, if your dog tends to be curious and take a bite out of plants, I may not be the best fit for you.

The fenced-in backyard was perfectly safe for exploring and they spent time together outside after dinner. Abby was happy and relaxed when we left her. Janelle was flexible about the pickup. Cassidy and Cody were so laid back, relaxed and flexible when it came times and days we needed care for Fern. Fern was nervous at first meeting and staying with new friends Gus, (their dog) and their 2 children, but she was wagging her tail and so excited to go back to their house the following day! When I was in my early 20's I used to pet sit for my co-workers for extra cash. I currently have 4 dogs and 1 cat of my own. I enjoy my time with animals -- they make me feel peaceful and energized, so, taking care of them is a win-win! I am always careful to follow any instructions provided around details of care -- feeding, walking, preferences around behavior or routine, let me know -- I'm here to help put you at ease while you're away from your pet. I work full-time during on weekdays in Boston starting in the afternoons, so while I am available weekday mornings, it would be more for jobs before 10am to leave time for my commute. Weekends I usually have a lot of flexibility & I'll do my best to get back to you quickly.

I’m currently in vet school and have years of hands-on experience with dogs, cats, and more — both in clinical settings and at home. I make sure fresh water is always available and that your pet gets plenty of love, attention, and stimulation throughout the day. I will also make sure to be respectful of your space and tidy up after myself and your pet! Because I’m a veterinary student, I’m also trained to spot signs of illness or discomfort, and I’m confident handling pets with special medical needs or behavioral quirks. I only book one dog family (up to 3 dogs) at a time in order to give them my full attention and I'm looking forward to welcoming you as a client and being here for you for years to come! And while the barn may be bigger than the house, the house is designed for this in mind and they will have the run of it! I have a professional flexible full-time position in our family business. By limiting my clients to one family at a time I am able to fulfill my promise to provide the best possible care. We have 7 acres, 4 of which are 80% fenced in. We also have a sand horseback riding arena we are working to also utilize as a dog play area so they can be securely playing off the leash. I have extra large dog crates in their room for security at night if needed, and they will 100% always be on a leash.
