“It was a pleasure to have our whippet puppy Fern cared for by Cassidy and Cody while on vacation in Cape May. Cassidy and Cody were so laid back, relaxed and flexible when it came times and days we needed care for Fern. Fern was nervous at first meeting and staying with new friends Gus, (their dog) and their 2 children, but she was wagging her tail and so excited to go back to their house the following day! Fern got extra walks, and even went to the beach with them! We felt very comfortable leaving our baby In their care! I also appreciated getting text and picture updates of how Fern was doing throughout the day. I would definitely reach out to Cody and Cassidy again for dog sitting when we are in the area.”
About: I have had Labrador retrievers my whole life! And, 2 years ago fostered my cousin’s English bulldog for 6 months, while she was moving to ME! Friends and family ask me to watch their pups first, because they know I treat them like my own!! Pet care is a big part of my daily routine! Our 3 boys are my children. Once we wake up we head right outside, then we do breakfast, rest for a moment or two after eating, and then back outside for walks or play time! We also love car rides, cuddles, hiking, etc! Dogs that come to stay with us just fall right into our routines. Dogs are awesome, and deserve to be treated as such! We have 18 acres in Buxton! Perfect for dogs to play, and enjoy time outside. In our home pets are like family! They are welcome on furniture to get comfy.

About: I’ve been a loving parent to both cats and dogs for 25 years. I love animals and am happy to accommodate walk schedules, medications, injections, and of course, lots of playtime and scritches! My pup and I do pretty much whatever we want, whenever we want. I have a flexible work schedule and am often at home, so can accommodate desired potty break and walk times, medications, preferred activities (beach, dog park, hanging out at the house.) My pup is always ready for company and activity, but knows when it’s time to relax. I live in a private house set far back from the street, with a large, well kept (but unfenced) 1.5 acre yard. My dog, Pepper, is an extremely social, playful, but chill and well-behaved 5yr old neutered Jack Russell mix. He loves playtime with other dogs, but is respectful of the quieter styles of older dogs or dogs just needing rest. I have a comfy crate suitable for small to medium dogs (if you crate), lots of toys, and lots of time to engage with your sweetie. The area surrounding my home is safe and quiet, with many options for woodland walks. I live near dog-friendly beaches and the Saco river, so splashing is an option, too! If your dog has good recall, I can provide off-leash time in the 1.5 acre yard. I have a front porch with a protective gate to keep the sunbathers from getting out, and lots of space for indoor play time and resting as well.

About: I have been working with dogs and cats professionally since May of 2012 with my primary focus on dog walking. From puppies to seniors, I have walked and pet sat all temperaments and ages of dogs. Additionally, I have a year and a half of basic dog training experience, which also included working with reactive and anxious dogs. Being fluent in dog body language is essential! Subcutaneous injections are also a part of my skill set, as I used to have a diabetic cat that needed insulin injections twice daily as well as a client that needed Adequan injections twice a week. I am available any day of the week for walks and drop ins from about 7am - 8pm. About: I’ve volunteered at the San Diego animal shelter and taken trainer courses to become certified to meet their standards. I’ve fed, bathed, walked, played and socialized with all kinds of dogs big small hyper calm young and old! I love them all! If I ever see a stray or even a question in doubt about a dog I will try and find it it’s owner/home or bring it to safety. I can handle all types of dogs and love to see them happy and comfortable!! I have Friday through Sunday available can even take an over night on the occasional Thursday! I will walk the perimeter of my property multiple times a day! A 10x10 kennel and ground stakes with leads for pups to stay tied to! Will feed when requested with the food provided and constant and endless water supplied in more than one location!!! Hydrated dogs are happy dogs!!Your dog will be right at home away from home. Please bring: harness, collar and leash, dog food and bowls. Special medication if any required. For comfort please bring their crates if they love them and bed or blankets a toy or two and a pillowcase or shirt that smells like mamma or dad so they know you are always near!!
About: I have worked with and cared for dogs all my life, and cats about half. I have trained dozens of dogs, even ones that have been “impossible”. I am a very active person and outside is better than in! Expect to get your pets back tired so you all can rest before you’re back at the grind. I love animals and visitors for my dogs and play partners for my own high energy levels. And as always, smiles and safety first. I don’t have a fenced yard, but I do have strong long leads, one attached to the porch (20feet) and one yard one, with a 250lbs resistant or weight limit, 50 feet long that allows dogs to safely visit and play outside in yard without wondering off. As well, a small empty dog park near by to play ball and “run free” and we frequent other dog parks. Right now I have a full-time job and just looking for a side gig doing something I love on the weekends. I love animals, even the quirky ones. Right now, just working on the weekends I’m available. I do have two small dogs at home that need to play, and love other pets. I can watch them at my home, bring them to the dog park or at your home, if I can bring my dogs with.

About: I recently lost my 14 y/o Coonhound (Jazzy) She was the bestest girl in the world, and the best friend anyone could ask for. I am not ready for another dog just yet, but I would love to have another heartbeat in the house. My schedule is very flexible, in the event that I have to run some errands, I am happy to take your dog for a car ride with me. I live in a quiet neighborhood with a large backyard and in close proximity to trails for long walks that I often frequent. Also, I could not be happier to have your dog hang out on the couch with me while I read or work from home.
