About: Animals have always been an important part of my life. I grew up with a cat who was much more than a pet—because I didn’t have any brothers or sisters, she was my best friend and constant companion. Later, after meeting my husband, who had a dog, I discovered how much joy dogs bring and how different, fun, and rewarding it is to spend time with them. “It was a pleasure to have our whippet puppy Fern cared for by Cassidy and Cody while on vacation in Cape May. Cassidy and Cody were so laid back, relaxed and flexible when it came times and days we needed care for Fern. Fern was nervous at first meeting and staying with new friends Gus, (their dog) and their 2 children, but she was wagging her tail and so excited to go back to their house the following day! Fern got extra walks, and even went to the beach with them! We felt very comfortable leaving our baby In their care! About: Hi! We’re Natalie and Tim, and we have both had dogs our entire lives. Natalie worked at a Humane Society in college, and Tim fostered dogs (and was a “failed foster” parent) for many years before we moved to Maine with our two doggies, Penny & Willa. We spend lots of time taking our dogs and dogs who we sit for to local nature trails in Cumberland or enjoying fetch with the Chuck-It in our large backyard. Our home is kid-free, and we will treat your pups like our own! Tim works from home, and Natalie is a full-time graduate student with a flexible schedule. Well mannered pups will be loose in the house. Have rooms with large enough space to separate dogs too if there is ever a concern for anyone’s safety. Please bring: harness, collar and leash, dog food and bowls. Special medication if any required. For comfort please bring their crates if they love them and bed or blankets a toy or two and a pillowcase or shirt that smells like mamma or dad so they know you are always near!!

Bernard size to dachshund size. I have taken care of aggressive dogs and dogs that have had a litter of puppies. I also have a cat and am comfortable with watching your cats as well. I love to walk and exercise if that's what your dog is needing.
