About: Currently I am between caregiving clients trying to decide what my next move is. I was born into an animal loving family, extended family, etc. I am 59 years old and have never been without at least a cat or two. I've also had 2 of my own dogs since 2005. My last senior dog passed the rainbow bridge in 2024. Born in Connecticut, lived for 45 years in Maryland and now I am living in Maine where I love it! One reason I fell in love with Maine is you can bring your dog almost anywhere here. They are a pet loving no-kill state! I have administered just about every kind of pet med out there. Every single pet has their own personality and I am very patient to learn that personality so we will become friends. I have a pretty open schedule with no real deadlines, so when ever your pets need walks, feeding, medications or just spend time with them, I am there. My own pets get feed twice a day. The time varies depending on my pet sitting schedule. But usually Its about 10am and 7pm. Whatever instructions left for me for a pet sit, I will follow to the letter. I will ask questions or text later to make sure I understand everything your pet needs. I've never run into an animal not liking me, but I am very aware of them not be comfortable with me at first. That can be stressful for them of course, so its very important that their care instructions are followed to keep them as anxiety free as possible.

About: Currently I am between caregiving clients trying to decide what my next move is. I was born into an animal loving family, extended family, etc. I am 59 years old and have never been without at least a cat or two. I've also had 2 of my own dogs since 2005. My last senior dog passed the rainbow bridge in 2024. Born in Connecticut, lived for 45 years in Maryland and now I am living in Maine where I love it! One reason I fell in love with Maine is you can bring your dog almost anywhere here. They are a pet loving no-kill state! I have administered just about every kind of pet med out there. Every single pet has their own personality and I am very patient to learn that personality so we will become friends. I have a pretty open schedule with no real deadlines, so when ever your pets need walks, feeding, medications or just spend time with them, I am there. My own pets get feed twice a day. The time varies depending on my pet sitting schedule. But usually Its about 10am and 7pm. Whatever instructions left for me for a pet sit, I will follow to the letter. I will ask questions or text later to make sure I understand everything your pet needs. I've never run into an animal not liking me, but I am very aware of them not be comfortable with me at first. That can be stressful for them of course, so its very important that their care instructions are followed to keep them as anxiety free as possible.

My dog Edie made friends with a beagle and had a blast for the three days she was with Pat. There is a fenced-in yard and the dogs had fun outside and inside. Depending on my schedule, I may not be at your home 24/7, however, I guarantee your pets won’t be alone longer than 5-6 hours. Typically I limit leaving to 2 times a day to accommodate these clients. (I won’t be gone 5-6 hours each time) My coming and going schedule will be provided prior to sitting! Constant Care: Constant care is applied to any sitting that doesn’t allow me to leave for more than 4 hours of the day, per day. Constant care rates start at $175/ night (additional rates still apply) and increase based off of pet’s needs. Please understand this service may not always be available and interferes with ongoing mid day clients. Price reflects alternative arrangements I need to make for existing clients. About: Hello! I'm Ashley. I am 35 years old. I am from Stuart, FL. I am working in Bar Harbor for the summer and have recently decided to stay through winter until April 2026. I have always been an animal lover and if I could afford a farm and have every type of animal in it... I would. I have owned, dogs, fish, and birds. I have had dogs most of my life. I had a Jack Russell who lived to be 11 years old named Romeo...He was a ball of energy, he had eye problems and needed drops daily. I also had a Rat Terrier named Oliver, we bought him at a year old. He lived to be 14 years old. Most recently my sister currently has a mini golden doodle, who is 4 years old. I loved taking my dogs on the trails in the parks. If I didn’t travel so much, I would love a dog of my own. I work seasonal contract jobs outside the National parks, mainly in the summer season. I go walking everyday & I would love to bring your pup with me. I am renting an apartment but I also work downstairs from it so I can check on them and take them out throughout the day
