About: Animals have always been an important part of my life. I grew up with a cat who was much more than a pet—because I didn’t have any brothers or sisters, she was my best friend and constant companion. Later, after meeting my husband, who had a dog, I discovered how much joy dogs bring and how different, fun, and rewarding it is to spend time with them. Now that my own children are older and more independent, I finally have some time to do something I’ve wanted for a while: care for other people’s dogs. Spending time with animals truly makes me happy, and I would love to give your dog the same love, attention, and care that I would give my own. About: I’ve been an animal lover for my whole life! I have experience with dogs of many sizes and breeds, cats, cows, and chickens. Walking dogs is one of my favorite things to do. I have worked for a dog walking company for the past 3 years. Also, I have worked on multiple farms where I’ve cared for farm animals and dogs/cats. I will care for your pet as if they were my own! I’m working a remote part-time job which leaves me with plenty of time to walk dogs throughout the day and in the evening. Additionally, I have a very flexible schedule on the weekends. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of family and friends since I was in my teens, but more extensively in college and since. For 3 years I boarded and sat for three different family friends. I’ve personally helped raise 3 dogs and 2 cats. I’ve even helped herd sheep and tamed alpacas! I work nearly full-time as a server at a restaurant, so Wednesday to Saturday night I’m unavailable for somewhere between 6-9 hours on those days. When I have my off days I’m usually at home or out for a walk. I’m usually efficient with my errands and have extensive free time on off days. My apartment is a one bedroom, so if I’m not playing around the apartment with the pet, I’d want to bring them on a walk or to the park. I have a very comfortable bedroom conducive to nap time, and I live in the heart of Old Port. Whenever I am with pets in my house I am always looking to set up a cozy space for them to relax with blankets, pillows, their favorite toys. I try to make them feel like a proper guest in my home like anyone else. My apartment is always very quiet despite being downtown, but I would hope to find activities we could do in and around Portland to help keep them active and entertained.

About: I raised, trained, and cared for my family dog from a puppy when I was in high school. Post college I adopted a senior dog and cared for him for the last couple of years of his life. In the meantime I have been a sitter for friends and family dogs and cats over the years. I am used to giving medications (even when it needs to be disguised) and staying on a feeding schedules. I am very up for caring for senior dogs who want to lay around the house, and equally ready to go on long walks with a dog with more energy. I work from home always, so will be around during the day for pups who like to hang! I'm on the East End of Portland with the Eastern Prom very close by so plenty of places to walk and explore. I am usually out and about in the evenings for a few hours at a time. On the weekends I like to be busy, but can certainly adjust my time when I have a dog or cat around. I have a large one bedroom, and am on the 3rd floor. So my place is likely not good for pets with mobility issues (unless they are small enough that I can carry them). I live very close to lots of nature easily accessible and make a point to get outside often.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life—from Cavapoos to Corgis to Wheaten Terriors to Doodles, to Boxers! I’ve also had the pleasure of having a Goldendoodle of my own as well! Their dogs Magic & Brooklyn were great with Shorty, & he sometimes has problems with new dogs. Vicky sent me great pics every & really put my mind at ease, seeing Shorty livin the doggy life. Vicky even brought Shorty to work with her at the pet hospital where she works & I know he loved that. Travis, Bobby's brother was also really great & Shorty warmed up to him right away. Shorty is used to sleeping on the bed & they allowed that, and also figured out something yummy for him to eat when he wouldn't. I am currently doing Rover full-time. For many years i have lived in homes with pets and helped care for them. Currently living in a home with 1 cat, 1 dog, and 12 chickens. We also do doggy day care and do boarding- so we keep pretty busy. I always walk dogs on their leashes. I make sure to keep medications and other harmful things locked away. We have a fenced in yard, but i’m always out there with them. I try to take as good care for your animals as if they were my own.
About: I’ve grown up in the outdoors and with a love of taking care of animals. I have always been relied on as someone who can be called on to help take care of a furry friend. While I can’t get a dog of my own right now, I love having animals around to spend time with and join me on my day to day experiences and outdoor adventures. Currently working hybrid remote from home that allows me lots of freedom in my schedule. Depending on the animal, I would move my work around their needs. I can offer frequent walks and check-ins. When working remotely, they will be with me at all times. When in office, there may be times that they will be alone for up to 4 hours. Depending on the animals/owners needs I can be flexible to training schedules if that is something they would like support with.

About: I grew up dogs from the time I was little- labs, retrievers, shepherds- and had a special needs rescue dog with my partner for many years who lived to be fifteen. When she passed, my partner and I started boarding and house sitting regularly and have built up a pretty cute little pack. I am comfortable giving oral medication and upholding your dog’s schedule, house rules, and love to take field trips whenever possible. My favorite is when a dog can come with me everywhere, so smaller senior pups have become my specialty, but I can’t help but love all the dogs who come along. As a videographer and Maine youth basketball coach I have a lot of flexibility in my work schedule and spend a lot of time working from home editing videos. I’m fairly active, always happy to take breaks from work to walk around the neighborhood or find a pet-friendly beach to run around on. I’m in an apartment very close to Deering Oaks Park and the Western Prom. The apartment is a compact second story walk up and has been carefully maintained to keep it safe for curious noses.

About: I’ve taken care of small, medium, and large dogs including low and high energy breeds. I grew up with labs and border collies, and have an understanding for providing love and care for dogs along with exercise and discipline. I will take care of your pet as if it were my own, and am adaptable to any specific needs your dog may have. I am a fire door inspector and repairman which takes up my week days, but guarantees my availability every Saturday and Sunday to provide fulltime care for pets. I live in an 800 sq/ft apartment with my cat Max that has a back porch and yard. It is able to accommodate 2 medium/small dogs or 1 large dog. My cat has lived with a large variety of dogs throughout her life and is calm and friendly towards them. Each dog under my care is treated with love and my absolute attention. Their Saftey and discipline will be ensured with positive reinforcement only. I am also willing and ready to travel to any clients home to care for your pets where they will be most comfortable.
