I was very impressed from the start, she talked with us and let our pup feel out the area while we confirmed specific details regarding Brutus which was such a comfort. He's a big cuddle bug and we gave her some of his favorite treats and she sent pictures of him enjoying them. When we picked up Brutus a couple days later he was exactly himself and did not have any decrease in appetite which we've experienced before. About: Pets have always been a big part of my life, gaining responsibility with them as I grew up. I have two family dogs currently: a 14-year-old medium-sized rescue mutt and a 7-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog that I love and cherish! I also have one cat. I have helped in caring for and training them for quite a few years. I am used to following feeding schedules and I love a good dog walk. I have basic training skills and also have experience dealing with minor behavioral issues. I also have helped care for my older siblings' dogs (both of them have sweet Golden Retrievers) and my aunt's two labs. I love all of these dogs (and my cat) and I would love yours too! I am currently self-employed, so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. Occasionally I work weekends and would be away, but I will update my Rover availability as that comes about. Cubby was her name my grandma had her for 20+ years I stayed with her a week before she passed, caring for her, cleaning her even helping her go to the bathroom. About: My entire life has always revolved around animals. As a lifelong equestrian, I’ve grown up taking care of horses and dogs of all shapes and sizes. Previously a barn manager, I’m now a pet & equine photographer. That means when I’m not at a horse show or photoshoot, I’m at my desk at home with my own two senior dogs curled underneath. My years in the horse world and now with senior dogs has taught me how to apply topical medication, give injections and oral meds, and how to recognize and redirect problematic behavior. Living on 15 wooded acres set back from the road means there is plenty of space for pups to run around as well as numerous off leash walking trails should your pup be up for it. Staying with me is like a country retreat for your pet - walks through the forest and sunsets and squirrel watching from the deck. If you're lucky, you might even get some professional photos out of it. As a self-employed pet photographer, I work from home when I’m not at a horse show or photo shoot. This gives me lots of flexibility day to day and during the day. I like to let dogs approach me as they feel comfortable and understand that dogs are capable of a wide range of personalities. My number one priority is that everyone feels safe and has their needs met. In my home, well behaved and responsive dogs may be allowed off-leash outside as we have plenty of space far from the nearest road. Dogs that can’t be trusted off leash will enjoy wooded walks around the property or nearby dog-friendly trails.

I prefer for new clients to contact me at least one week in advance of their first appointment so that we have time to work out a meet and greet, and to discuss all the details of care. As a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. I treat every dog like my own - with patience, attention, and plenty of love. Whether it’s an energetic walk or a calm, check in visit, your pups, safety, happiness, and well-being always come first. I currently work a couple short days per week. Happy to check on your pet or take them for a walk before or after I work as needed. Sometimes my days change (but rarely, so please reach out if there is a day not directly available on my calendar). I’m at home studying the other days I’m not at work. So I would love for a reason to get outside and take your dog for a walk! Or simply go check on your dog and play with them for a bit, while you’re away. Your pets safety is always my top priority. During walks, I stay alert to our surroundings, use leashing practices, and avoid unsafe areas or extreme weather. For drop ends, I make sure doors, gates and crates are properly secured before leaving. I follow your pets routine carefully and provide updates so you can feel confident in at ease while you’re away.
About: I have many years of experience with cats, all types of personalities. Dogs as well, frequent walking. I do have 4 cats of my own :) I work 3 days a week, not a set schedule, but usually have open availability the other 4 days during the weekdays/weekends. I have a job that requires taking call, so there are times I could have to go into work during a scheduled time, majority a very flexible schedule :) I do not take requests for services in my own home. I am able to spend the nights in your home as needed for cats and dogs
About: Experience with raising and training puppies, deaf dogs and high drive hearding dogs. I Know lots of brain teasers for mental stimulation. From walks, hikes and playing to training and games, I love spending my free time with my four legged friends. Weekends i am free when not taking care or spending quality time with my own pup. I like morning playtimes and long trail or town walks. Always respect the owners wishes for their pet and any restrictions or limitations the dog might have. Having a fearful pup I understand the need to keep environments calm!
About: I have been trusted with my family and friends furry companions for almost twenty years. I have had my own sweet boy for eight years. I and very flexible and can make most anything work. I don’t mind a little bit of traveling and can get up early if needed. I am very capable of following instructions as to how best to care for your companion(s), and will always leave your house secure. I have my own dog I like to bring along if the situation permits, a sweet boy who loves to play and snuggle with everyone.
About: Hello! I am a graduate student looking to give pups some love in my free time. My parents started their own dog daycare, lodging, grooming and training center that will be 15 years in business this summer. For over a decade I spent my school breaks and many weekends helping out will all things dogs so I have quite a bit of experience including training! I also have my own pup, Nova! I am in a full time graduate program so my availability may change week-to-week but I will be available for a few hours each weekend day at the very least! I have experience with dogs who like to pull a bit and/or like to try to chase birds so I am able to safely redirect and walk pups of all sizes and temperaments!

When we picked up Brutus a couple days later he was exactly himself and did not have any decrease in appetite which we've experienced before.
