About: Since becoming fully remote for my full time job in 2020, I have taken on the roll of “trusted pet-sitter” for over 30 families and almost 50 furry friends. Back home in Maryland, I connected with these families just through word-of-mouth and referrals from happy families. About: I used to foster for the humane society. Loved it!! I haven't done it on over a year due to getting a new puppy of my own but would love to help out again some day. I own my own cleaning business owners so I can make my own schedules. So all pets get lots of attention!! Lots of running and fresh air. We do not have a fenced in yard but have a wireless fence with collars available for use. Pets will still be watched while outside. I have 2 dogs so there is always play buddies.

About: I've always had dogs or cats as pets. I currently have 2 dogs now. Dashy is 16 year old Dashhound who was severely neglected and abandoned at 13 and Beau now 8 is a Rat Terrier mix adopted as a puppy. Both boys are very friendly, happy, healthy and quite spoiled. I also have my Pet CPR & First Aid cert from Red Cross as well as some behavioral training. I work best senior, handicapped and terminally ill pets though the fee may change depending of medical need. I'm retired and I have full daily availability from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and some night time availability as well as overnights. I have a fenced/blocked back yard, another fur baby and plenty of room for them to play. Grass, gazebo and lawn Charis for them! The inside is spacious and safe for dogs and dog friendly cats.

We do not have a fenced in yard but have a wireless fence with collars available for use. Pets will still be watched while outside. I have 2 dogs so there is always play buddies.

About: Highlight: I am experienced with aggressive and reactive animals! I have had animals in my home and life as long as I can remember. I have cared for countless dogs, cats, and small animals. At one point in my life I had seven dogs and a number of other pets. I have been providing independent pet care since late 2015. Animal care and rescue is my greatest passion. This means I have lots of availability to care for your pets, but for house-sitting in particular it is best to reach out significantly in advance to ensure I can fit you in! Sunday bookings are restricted to things that *must* occur on that day in order for me to try to have some level of work life balance. I take utmost care to keep animals in my care safe and properly contained. I make sure to follow whatever rules and structures are in place for the animals to ensure their safety. Pets are always leashed inside before heading for a walk and the leash isn't unclipped until we are back inside with a closed door. I am vigilant in looking out for potential risks (e.g. other animals, cars, unsafe things they could eat, etc) and making sure to give them a wide berth. In my own home I have any small animals carefully segregated into rooms that predator animals don't go into. Anytime I leave the room, I do a check and verify that all predators are outside the door so nobody can get hurt. I monitor the dogs around the cats to make sure all interactions are safe. I have utlized crates and baby gates when necessary to keep animals safely contained and/or separated in the past. I am skilled at containing flight risk animals and watching out for their safety. I am also fully insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates (PSA).

Dashy is 16 year old Dashhound who was severely neglected and abandoned at 13 and Beau now 8 is a Rat Terrier mix adopted as a puppy. Both boys are very friendly, happy, healthy and quite spoiled. I also have my Pet CPR & First Aid cert from Red Cross as well as some behavioral training. I work best senior, handicapped and terminally ill pets though the fee may change depending of medical need. I'm retired and I have full daily availability from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and some night time availability as well as overnights. I have a fenced/blocked back yard, another fur baby and plenty of room for them to play. Grass, gazebo and lawn Charis for them! The inside is spacious and safe for dogs and dog friendly cats.
